Dr. Myerson is simply the best. Time spent with him is like being with a Renaissance man. Not only is he rated as a Top Doctor again this year, he is a skilled underwater photographer, an avid scuba diver, a music aficionado, and an entertaining story teller. He is also a zealous advocate for his patients. He insists on keeping a medical record on the whole patient so that he is aware of all medical treatments and interventions. He instills such confidence in his medical management skills that he is really the only doctor you will ever need!

There are no adequate words to describe how much I adore this doctor. I have been “sickly” my entire life and have wasted innumerable amounts of money and time on useless specialists. Finding him changed my health and my quality of life. He is compassionate, intelligent and the most personable doctor I have ever seen. He truly cares and most importantly, he never ceases to make me laugh. After 12 years, he is not only my best doctor, he has become a friend.

Ive seen a lot of doctors in my 60 years of life; without a doubt, Dr. Gary Myerson is the Best of the Best! I recently moved to Colorado and there was absolutely no discussion about what doctor I would see for rheumatology - every 3 months or so I fly back to Atlanta for an appointment. We are not a wealthy family and its a sacrifice for me to continue seeing him, but its worth every penny. I have been his patient for 15 years and Ive had some complicated situations arise in that time. I dont have to be concerned because I have full confidence that hes going to stay on the case until its resolved. If he cant figure it out he knows who to send me to and he`s not too arrogant to do it! I Love his bedside manner and I ALWAYS leave his office uplifted because I KNOW that just for that few minutes Ive had the privilege to be with a true healer who empathizes with me and truly desires to apply his vast knowledge to help me live life to the fullest!!!!

Dr Myerson is by far one of the best physicians I have ever seen. He’s caring and compassionate and spends so much time with his patients! The only negative is the office staff...it’s impossible to get a live person on the phone and to get anyone to return calls!!

Dr. Myerson is an all around magnificent doctor. He was able to see what other doctors could not for my autoimmune. He runs the right test and doesnt give up on finding the answer to giving me relief. Knowing each person is different he is comforting. Lastly he works with a larger and great network. this helps with ensuring we are trying the latest methods for a cure. Love he works so well with my enter team of doctors including my primary.

Our son was visiting from overseas.He was examined by Dr.Myerson.Dr. Myerson was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, patient and personable.Our son had to leave the country before his test results became available.Dr. Myersons nurse, Wendy, called our home, after hours, so that we could connect her with our son, overseas. For approximately thirty minutes, Wendy reviewed his test results and answered his questions.She went way above anything we expected her to do to accommodate his situation and get him the information he needed.We cannot say enough positive things about Wendy and the patient interest and concern she demonstrated.Both she and Dr. Myerson are consummate professionals.Thank you Wendy so much for going the extra 100 milesFred and Glenda

Dr Myerson absolutely saved my life!!!! I had dealt with my hands in so much pain and the swelling was so incredible, this was for several years. Trying every medication that was out there and even having a reaction to one. My co worker looked at the reviews on line and I decided to give Dr Myerson a chance. I went in for my first visit and right away Dr Myerson told me he was determined to help me and I felt so comfortable with his treatment. He put me on Xeljanz and within a few weeks I had no swelling and no pain. I have now been on this medication for about 7 months, I have not had a single flareup nor had any pain of any kind. I owe everything to Dr Myerson and his staff and I am so thankful that I found him. He has truly given me my normal life back!!!!Connie Mann

Hes one of those doctors who really cares about his patients. He will give you as much time as you need, but that sometimes means he runs very late. Try calling before you leave for your appointment and ask if hes running late before going. While it can be inconvenient, it means when its your turn, youre not rushed at all and you really have the time you need to get your problems resolved. He knows that every patient is different, so hes flexible to try new treatments and has ideas of things to try if something isnt working. I highly recommend him.

He and Anna his PA are amazing. He saw me 20 years ago and saved my life I believe. I was frustrated with care of other doctors. I got in somehow because even back then he wasnt accepting new patients. This has been a journey and will continue to be for the rest of my life.Im thankful I have them in my corner. They are proactive with their treatment and really care.

This man is so worth the wait. There is no way the commenter below has ever had to wait that long. That is such an exaggeration. Go move to another doctor if you dont like it there, you will never get better care than with Dr. Myerson!! Now Ill get off my rant!This man is the most unbelievable doctor. For several years I went to several specialists trying to find out what was going on with me and I felt so defeated. When a blood screen finally showed what I may have, my PCP sent me to him and said he is the best in the business! Boy was she right.When he came into the room for the first time, he walked in telling me all the symptoms He bet I was having without even knowing me. It was the first time in years I finally felt like I was In great hands and that someone really got it. He spent two hours with me making me feel like I was his only patient in the world. This is how he is with all of his patients. He will also go to bat for you when necessary with insurance companies. He seriously knows his stuff. Within a few months of going to him, I really started feeling so much better. He Takes time to really get to know his patients. I promise you will not be disappointed.With all that said, please dont let one commenters remarks about waiting time keep you from seeing this wonderful man. Sometimes in life there are people who would complain even if Jesus was helping them.

Close to 30 years with this man. Absolutely the best in Atlanta and, in my opinion, the best diagnostician ever. He is uncanny is his ability to figure out the problem and prescribe treatment. Upbeat and positive. Anna, his PA, is wonderfully, caring, and excellent.

Let me start by saying Dr.Myerson is one of the most attentive and knowledgeable physicians around. He did an excellent job and I was very pleased with him, but his staff is incompetent and rude if they decide you’re worth responding to at all. I have made over 50 calls to their office in the last 3 months and heard back from them three times total. The documentation I requested was eventually faxed, but it was incorrect both times so I just gave up. I also had a billing issue and it’s impossible to get in touch with someone. The billing woman did finally return my call and instructed me to follow up with my insurance. I did and now I can’t get her to call me back. Dr.Myerson is great, but his staff is terrible and it really upsets me that I cannot return because his staff is way more hassle than they are worth.

He is a compassionate doctor and explains diagnosis facets very well. He is thorough with no rush to get to next patient.

Dr. Myerson is the best! with my Lupus disease he is working so hard to help me. He takes time to listen and answers all our questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Myerson & his PA Anna since 2005. I can vouch that he literally saved my life. I cant tell you enough of how I thank God everyday for him & Anna. He deals with you with compassion and has a whimsical bedside manner. If you are new you will more than likely have a wait to see Dr. Myerson, just be patient and bring a book. He is definitely engaged in your health needs once he sees you in his office.

I had Dr. Myerson for many years until I was forced to change insurance. Under his care, I did very well and yes 25 years ago before he partnered, I sometimes had to wait. I learned to bring a book because this doctor is one of the finest in the South. I have a chance to go back to him and I am taking it. I absolutely adore this giant in medical care. I only hope hes still taking patients!

Dr.Myerson is the smartest doctor I know. His diagnosis was missed by others. The fact I have any normalcy to my life w my health conditions is due to God, Dr.Myerson, his wonderful PA Anna & their caring responsive staff!

Best doctor I could ever ask for.

Its frustrating that the office schedules patients every few minutes as the doctor definitely takes longer for the visit. This creates hours of waiting in pain for the patients he sees. Also, the office has a voice mail only system, so you cant ever just speak to someone right away, you have to wait for a call back. The doctor himself is very competent, but these extra inconveniences make for unpleasant office visits.

We really like Dr. Myerson. He treats my husband who is a complicated patient and he has been able to successfully treat his issues. Highly recommend him.

Quality healthcare & healthcare providers who value doing no harm and helping patients has become a thing of the PAST. My fiance has been diagnosed with more health issues than the Good Lord should allow, however she is listened to but seemingly getting worse as her myriad of health issues are minimized or not addressed. It seems the ONLY objective anymore is to push new medications on her for her autoimmune diseases as opposed to anything else. She NEVER finds out about her lab results until months later and is now facing possibly the biggest fight of her life. I have noticed this practice along with others dont contact patients despite billing insurance like mad men. I wonder how many lives will be altered forever or even lost before the practice (yes they are practicing) of medicine becomes a passion as opposed to a business. I weep for her pain and weep knowing that she is just beginning the third decade of her life and fears she will be buried soon because she is seen, but not heard. When doctors no longer have a passion to help in the healing process, its time to retire. You took an oath to do no harm, yet you have no idea how much harm your apathy, failure to consider that you might be missing something or may have misdiagnosed her is appalling.

By far the BEST doctor anyone could ask for. Dr. Myerson, Anna (his PA), and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Definitely a team that cares about your wellbeing. I drive 2 hours just to go to them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Myersons since 1998 after seeing 3 other rheumatologists and he is by far the best. Not only is he good in his field, he is the only doctor I have had in years that I trust. I have had him recommend other doctors to me for other things and he has never steered me wrong. Yes, you have to wait when you have an appointment but the wait time is better than it used to be. One doctor I went to before coming here had me wait 7 hours when I had an appointment. He keeps up with all the latest treatments and is very caring not to mention funny. My husband always comes with me because he loves to talk with him even though he doesnt have arthritis and fibro like I do. I highly recommend him.

My husband was in ICU at Emory St. Josephs for 9 days and 3 physicians on staff called Dr. Myerson in on his case. 95% of the patients with what he had die--and he is not young. Dr. Myerson is at least in part responsible for my husband being here today and I cannot express in words how grateful I am for the care he received from this highly knowledgeable doctor!

I was hesitant to give three stats but I felt the front office and lab deserved a koodos for the good job they did I was actually referred to Dr myerson but he is no longer taking new patients and had to see one of his other doctors on staff... Dr. Tanasa. The front office staff and lab were wonderful, my experience with one of the staff doctors was lacking she was inattentive did not listen was confused as to why I was there, she asked what was my question for rheumatology also did not let me complete the new patient paperwork nor did she do a review of systems on me or a thorough exam and didnt seem to care other than to give me advice on doing pilates and yoga also told me I needed to get a trainer ??? rather than get to the root of my on going issues that brought me to this practice she also pointed out an issue with my skin but did not seem to care to go in to further detail for me to explain and left me wondering what on earth is wrong with my skin on top of my other issues I drove two hours to see this doctor I wont make this mistake again I was actually crying wen she left the room and her nurse was very rude

Dr. Myerson is amazing, wonderful, brilliant! He is one of the rare breed that actually places patient care and communication with his patient, in front of the clock. I actually have not ever had to wait to see him for any length of time, as some suggest, but I would be more than happy to do so as he takes a great deal of time with you at each appt. He is always on top of the latest Tx for me and is great about getting his pt. into his research programs which are wonderful since Medicare does not want to cover biologics. He is the BEST!!

I usually dont go off on people, but lady its best you do move on because out of many doctors we have tried, Gary Myerson is 2nd to none.My wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have Psoriatic Arthritis, our daughter has Fibro. Our family has used Dr Myerson for over 10 years. With out a second thought my wife would be in a wheel chair by now without his help. She can run rings around may 20 years younger now. So any complaint about the wait to see him is a non-issue, anytime we spend is worth it!!! Yes weve had 3:30 - 4 PM appt. and not finish till 7 or later. He has always taken the time we needed, no in an out in 15 min. like most doctors offices today. So if your health is important then you can count on him and staff to take care of it.So a comment about being arrogant, well thats a matter of opinion, because when you know what he does an do for people some might call it that, but not me. inconsiderate is BS in our book.

Everytime I go to Dr Myerson, I have had to wait anywhere from two to five hours to be seen.Despite talking with office staff and being told to speak directly to Dr Myerson to switch to his partner. Dr Myerson refused to let me switch. So now I must go through much time to find another doctor. While he is a great doctor, he is arrogant and inconsiderate.
