Gosh , Why didn’t I do this years ago !? Dr. Smith and staff were all amazing. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. All very welcoming and knowledgeable. The procedure itself was quick, painless and 100% worth it. I’m extremely happy that I choose Lasik Plus with Dr.Eugene. no regrets at all. Don’t think about it , JUST DO IT :)

I was super nervous doing lasik. I can totally say it’s super easy and the recovery is fast. If I had to do it again I would. I now have 20/15 vision. The staff is amazing at explaining every step of the way. I differently recommend ♥️

This will be an ongoing review.I called on Tuesday to get some information about their lasik procedure, had my consultation on Thursday, and will be having my surgery on Saturday.The receptionist I spoke with was very friendly and answered all of my questions and set some really clear expectations as to what would happen during my consultation.Walking into their Galleria location was very pleasing. Its very clean, welcoming, spacious, and very well designed. Not to cluttered but you can tell that they are proud of the success of Dr. Smith!!! His awards are displayed so that they are one of the first things you see.Their establishment is ran like a well oiled machine from the greeters to the financial counselor and everyone in between.Definitely worth the money Im about to spend there and I havent even met Dr. Smith for my surgery.Cant wait for tomorrow. Cant wait for 20/20 🤩🤩🤩-----------------A little over 24 hours after surgery and I am soooooo upset with myself for waiting this long to get this procedure done.The result was instant! I could tell the difference from the moment I stepped out of the OR. My vision was a little dewy in terms of picture quality, but I COULD SEE!!!The discomfort came when we got into traffic. It was very sunny and super uncomfortable so I simply closed my eyes and covered my head with my bestfriends light jacket. Ill suggest taking a dark blanket on your way to surgery in preparation for your drive home.When I got home, I used my two drops as prescribed and took an ibuprofen (unprescribed) and covered my eyes with the shield provided and called it a day! While I was not in excruciating pain, my right eye was pulsating a little. I knew I was going to need to sleep this part off so I did just that. I slept for about 3 hours and when I woke up, the pulsating sensation had subsided. I could see clearly, but there was some glare and blurriness.As I type, my vision is much clearer and I feel wonderful! Its taking some getting used to having perfect vision lol. Other than the glare and blurriness, which Im told will go away in the days and weeks to come, my right eye feels like I have sand in it. This is due to dryness so the blink tear drops help with that. I am doing 1 drop every hour for the 1st week after surgery and will go to 4 times a day until the supply is depleted, which Im told is about 3 months.Other than that, all is well. If youve considered lasik before, seriously...DO IT!!!More to come after my follow up tomorrow ❤-----------------So something quite remarkable happened last night. I received a call from a local number. I generally tend to not answer those because telemarketers are now calling from local numbers, however something made me answer. Glad that I did! It was Dr. Smith calling to check on me.Did you hear me? Not one of the nurses or a receptionist. DR Smith, top 5 in the country, all these awards, etc picked up the phone, and called his patient. He wanted to see how I was doing and asked me if I had any questions. I mentioned the sand-in-the-eye feeling and he addressed it and set some expectations as to how long that could last and to continue to use my drops.For Dr. Smith himself to make that call means a lot. Little subtleties like that is what set you apart in any field. As busy as this man is and as wonderful as his staff is, he didnt have to do that. PLUS, they gave me his cell phone number, which to be honest, I thought yeah right lol. I had no plans on using it and just nodded when it was pointed out on my paperwork to call him if I had any questions.So other than that really great impression, I went to my follow up on Monday and everything looked great. Im seeing all the lines but things are still a little blurry. My appointment was really early in the morning so I left home when it was dark and experienced a lot of glare while driving but not to where I couldnt function.Look forward to clearer vision, no doubt. Grateful for where it currently is for sure.

Staff has been amazing. The consultation went quick, answered all my concerns, calmed my nervousness. Had Lasik the following week (yesterday) and it went fantastic. Surgery was quick, painless, and not at all what I expected. Could already see better as I was driven home. Follow visit today and I could already make out most of the 20/20 line. I waited way too long to do this. DONT WAIT!!! Do it now! Life changing for sure!

I had the monovision procedure done. That’s one eye for close up and one eye for far away. (I couldn’t see with out glasses either way.) I already can see close up with out glasses and the far away is coming. I am so happy!! Can’t wait for full results. This office is very clean and the staff are super professional and nice. Dr. Smith has won all kinds of awards and I said to be the best Lasik doctor in the United States and I Believe he is. Great experience all the way around. This was my Christmas gift from Dwight and it is going to be one of the best gifts he his ever given me I think.

Less than 24hrs later, 20/20 vision. I was literally shocked. You hope for the best, but some how doubt if your success will be the same as others. Mine was and I am thrilled. You won’t regret it!!! This place is amazing!

No complaints about the surgery. Went super well! Can see perfectly! Kind staff. Only issue was I had to call multiple times to make sure the Valium prescription was placed and that made me anxious. Would definitely recommend though!

I was almost blind before the surgery.My right eye was almost a -12, and left eye -8. I don’t even remember the feelings of seeing things clear without glasses....I found Dr. Smith on google search and he piped up as the best reviewed doctor.Today I came back for my first post-surgery checkup and was told my corneal heal very well!!! It is a relief....Now I can see so much better... my vision is still a little blurry but it’s getting better and better...Hooray!!!!The whole team are very nice too!!! Warm and friend.I would recommend this place.

Just had my lasik for near vision and i can now see great on day one after my nap. Took the day off but got called to work at night and since i saw great i did and i was fine. Had my follow up and i can see 20/25 on day 1 so by the time i fully heal i think i will see 20/20 which is a miracle. Dr. Smith is a specialist and I am so glad I let him do my eyes because this was a big decision not being able to see for 4 hours right after the procedure was scary. Thank you Dr. Smith for being so detail and careful.

From my consultation to my post op appointment all of the doctors, nurses, and technicians were amazing. Positive attitudes, positive energy, and efficient. There was a three hour wait before my actual procedure but I think that is by design. You can watch other people getting their surgery along with refreshments and a comfortable atmosphere. I have worn glasses/contacts since I was 5 years old. I am now 40 and have 20/20. Super amazing! Im not gonna lie, the procedure was quite psychologically freaky for me and painful. There was also a lot of pain afterwards but I was good that evening. It is the first day after my surgery and I am able to drive and do normal activities. Dr. Smith was perfection!

I would really recommend the surgery to anyone. I have never been able to see this great in my entire life even with corrective lenses. The procedure was quick and painless. The healing process was fast. I was able to go back to work Monday. I was able to see the very next day with no problem. The light sensitivity was minimal. The staff made sure I was able to get the procedure done on the date requested. Ariba pulled every string imaginable to accommodate me. Ben made everything fun and very understandable. The doctor made sure I was a good candidate. The surgeon and his team talked to me about sports throughout the whole procedure. The reception team is always very warm and welcoming. The office manager is a joy to interact with. I couldnt have pick a better place or group of people to do the surgery with. If you are thinking about having Lasik Vision Surgery done, this is definitely the best place to get it. I highly recommend this team!!!

This is the only place I sincerely trust to refer my friends and family to. I am beyond pleased with my results. Amazing what knowledge Dr. Smith and his amazing staff have. Dr. Patel, Kenzie, Michelle...my absolute favorites. So consistently patient and helpful! Its as though you can never ask them too many questions! My procedure lasted 15 min and my boyfriends the same amount of time. We were even allowed to be with each other during our procedures! My follow up the next day was quick and efficient but not rushed at all which I appreciate. Everyone is presentable, the place itself is clean and bright and you get a free t-shirt for posting a review which everyone does. I really love this place. Wish I had done it sooner to be honest! If you have anxiety like me Dr.Smith will prescribe you a small dose of Valium which takes the edge off but doesnt make you loopy. Then you go home and take a 4 hour nap immediately post surgery. The REAL results come the next day when you reach for your glasses and open your eyes to see that you dont need them! Best feeling in the world is throwing away all your contact cases from over the years!

They make you wait for three hours in the lobby before your procedure. I wish they would be more respectful of people’s time. Need some work on their internal processes. Dr Smith was great though.

I cant express how much I appreciate Dr. Smith and staff. They really made the whole experience stress-free and comfortable. I have visited both the Gwinnett and Cobb offices but I had my surgery at Cobb. The check in process was quick and easy but there was a wait to get the actual surgery. In the plus side they offer refreshments while you wait and there is plenty of seating and TVs to help pass the time. The staff were energetic, friendly, and professional. I am glad I chose LASIK Plus Atlanta to have my laser eye surgery. I now have 20/15 vision!

So far I have been treated great, I am suppose to go back here shortly for the procedure- so far the staff has been polite and helpful. Dr. Smith called me last night to introduce himself and make sure I was ready for today! At this point I feel I am in great hands and I will be just as satisfied after the procedure as I am right now.

Great results. Next day 20/15 vision. Surgery was a breeze and quite a unique sensation. Only critique would be the surgery took a 2 1/2 hour wait beyond my appointment time, but they tell you to plan 2-3 hours as the delay is just from people ahead of you asking questions. Dr Smith doesnt rush people thru and wants to make sure all questions are answered.

Today is the day and Im really excited! The staff at Lasik plus has been great and the facility is very clean. Cant watch to see life through my new and improved eyes!

VERY DISAPPOINTED BY POOR ETHICS. My initial procedure was well done and the service was great. Thats why Ive given the two stars, not one or zero. Unfortunately, I signed up for lifetime adjustments for quite a bit more money than a single procedure. Now that I want an adjustment, the office will not call me back to schedule. I have tried over a half dozen times so far, but have gotten no response. If you use this practice, be sure to sign up for only one procedure at a time. In my experience so far, the lifetime updates offer is simply a way to trick more money out of the consumer.

I had a wonderful experience the doctors and care givers were very polite and assisted with my every need and concerns. Even after surgery everyone still treated me well. Anyone considering this surgery Lasik is the place for some serious consideration.

I had a great experience at LASIKPlus and Dr. Smith was very comforting throughout the process. I do wish that procedure days were a little less hectic (a long wait in a crowded waiting room), and that theyd offer a Xanax or something else to take the edge off like other LASIK providers do. That being said, overall I had a very positive experience - astigmatism and 20/400 in one eye and even worse than that in the other eye, and only 16 hours later Im at 20/20. So glad I did it!

I cannot tell you what an unbelievable experience this was with the team. Dr. Smith, Dr. Patel, Chris, John, Laura, and Michelle were absolutely the best!I was moderately, nervous of course. The initial visit with them went by quickly and they were able to tell my prescription within a matter of moments. I mean, when you go to your normal optometrist, it takes a good while. They were spot on.Day of surgery, I was even more nervous. When I was checking in, she answered a lot of questions I had. One of them being, Will Dr. Smith be offended if I ask him stats on his procedures? She responded back with Absolutely not! He loves talking about all kinds of things.John did one more follow up exam on my eyes and talked to me like I was one of his friends. He eased me a lot too.Chris was amazing- I asked him to take a couple pictures of my procedure and he ended up taking a 12 minute video. How cool is it for staff to actually care about what you want?!During the procedure, I talked to Dr. Smith the entire time. Asking questions about what he was doing because I was genuinely curious. Im the type that loves to watch dr shows. He let me know everything he was doing and he actually said it with so much enthusiasm. It was great.One thing I read in A LOT of reviews is that he will actually call his patients the night of to see how they are doing. That did happen! Its nice to know he cares.Overall, I would 100% recommend this LasikPlus location simply because everyone was AMAZING and the procedure was virtually painless. The Lasik Plus staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Going in for Lasik is definitely a nerve racking experience, and one of my complaints is that it is hard to find the odds of various complications. People will tell you they are very low, but Dr. Smith actually quantified that for me, which noone else would do (Im 20 years old and he said my odds of serious complications were 1 in 30,000 or more). Very happy with Dr. Smith and I would recommend him and Lasik Plus.
