I was extremely pleased with the level of care and professionalism that I was giving at Dr. Dunson dentist office. Dr. Dunson and his staff was very caring, professional and informative. They walked me through the process which helped me to stay calm. I was a bit nervous to seeing a dentist since I have not been at the dentist for 2 years due to a previous bad experience. I felt very at ease due to the great level of comfort everyone provided me in the office. I would recommend my family and friends to Dr. Dunson.

It is a very clean and well organized place. The staff, very courteous and professional. Dr. Dunson is to me the best. He gives injections you can’t even feel. That was the first time in my life going to a dentist and asking... did you give me the injection yet? I would recommend this place to friends and family.. my overall experience was a 10.

Recently had my implant placed here, throughout the entire process I felt welcome, safe, and extremely well informed about the process and steps being taken. Came in for a routine cleaning & I haven’t been to the dentist in a year. Dr. Dunson is extremely competent. He knows all the teeth and parts of the mouth and face and hes quite enthusiastic and friendly. He made me feel comfortable and explained things in a clear, unpretentious manner. He treats his staff and other patients kindly. The staff was very helpful and professional. My appointment was on time and I was given a thorough examination before being given my options. The office has a very nice ambiance and nice cityskape view. Overall, the visit made me feel good about going to see the dentist.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Dr. Dunson and his staff. The entire staff was kind and very gentle while I had 7 old amalgam fillings removed and replaced. Id had an allergic reaction to an amalgam removal many years ago and they took every precaution and protection to make sure I was safe. Im happy to report 5 weeks later zero symptoms - Im healthy as a horse and all of my new fillings feel great!As a person who has had some issues at the dentist before, it takes outstanding care for me to write a review. I most definitely received this kind of care. Dr. Dunson even called to check on me after my first visit to see how I was feeling. Above and beyond service in my opinion.In terms of cost, I had zero issues with my insurance and the price was very reasonable, much less than I paid for my last amalgam removal. All costs were explained to me ahead of time - no surprises.Highly recommend Dr. Dunson and his team! :)

After meeting with the team and doctor, spending money on dental molds (over $600) that I was encouraged to purchase, I decided not to go with Dunson Dental for my dental needs. Since then, I have requested my dental records. It is now almost 8 months later and I still have not received my records and my dental molds were thrown away. The team is nice but there has been sooo much back and forth with the front office its honestly just ridiculous. I have really really held out on posting this review because I did want to try with Dunson Dental (and it appeared they did too) but Im just done with this.

He is very passionate and meticulouswhen it comes to giving patients the best treatment; he educates you to ensure there is a clear understanding of whats going on and how to maintain great dental health. This is a smooth looking place with friendly people but they misdiagnosed me with a cavity. It is a business after all so I imagine they weren’t just gonna let me go out with a simple cleaning. Two separate dentists since then have seen no evidence of cavities. Just a heads up to those considering

Dr Dunson was super good. I live a couple hours away and the drive into ATL just got to be too much. But if you’re afraid of the pain, or have dentist anxiety....THIS is the dentist for you! Fabulous bedside manner too.

I was told about this office from a friend I was having severe pain and needed to have an emergency tooth extraction. Dr.D removed my tooth the same day. The staff is very polite and do they’re best on keeping you comfortable. I have now made them my permanent Dentist office

I visited Dr. Dunson several times in 2019 and was overall very dissatisfied with my experience. Please look elsewhere for a dentist! I witnessed multiple times where Dr. Dunson would disrespect his staff and treat them in condescending manner which was very frustrating to see. When it came to billing, they billed me for a no show that I called and cancelled several days in advance and rather than telling me about it, they added it onto my next visit without mentioning before they charged my card that I was being billed for it. They have also diagnosed two cavities that I have had looked at by a new dentist and the new dentist cannot fine any sign of cavities. This behavior is very dishonest. The practice charges a lot more compared to other dentists in the area and adds additional fees to items that would normally not cost such a high amount. I am very unhappy with this dental practice and suggest that you go to one of Atlantas many other dentists so that you dont get taken advantage of.

Outstanding patient service. Ive been a fan for 15+ years and have referred family and friends. Im a chicken when it comes to the drill, so when Ive needed seriuos work done, they gas me and give me headphones and go to work. If u can imagine a root canal being pleasant, here is where that happens.
