My therapy team was amazing at Movement for Life Physical Therapy in Atascadero! Rick and Dan worked well as a team directing my care, progressing exercises and physical activity after my injury. They always made time to answer my questions and educated me toward my health and recovery goals. This is a very professional and caring office.

I have never encountered such a rude person over the phone than my phone call with Michelle from Movement for life- Atascadero. I am literally shocked you are able to speak to people this way, especially those struggling with injuries that are calling to inquire about Physical Therapy and healthcare. You literally work with people who have disabilities and are the most unkind practice I have spoken to in all my years recovering with a disability- and I have talked to MANY healthcare professionals as you might imagine. Michelle should be retrained or honestly fired. I asked one question and while asking my follow up question they interrupted me to complain that I asked too vague of a question... Im not even kidding I was only a few seconds into the call and still trying to speak, and from that moment on their tone was condescending. They continued to ask me condescending questions like do have any idea how much these things cost? when asking if your location offered Functional Capacity Evaluations (your much nicer SLO location referred me to your office which is why I called). Michelle further belittled me by saying things like you cant just get one as if I thought of this out of thin air (Im speaking to my new doctor about it who is unfamiliar with FCEs/clients with disabilities but I was told by my old doctor this would help so Im calling to see if they are offered locally). Michelle also discouraged me from using Movement for Life-Atascadero saying we do do them (FCEs) but like I said were not contracted with most insurances so there you have it... There you have it? Michelle didnt even know my insurance at that point but there I have it, you cant help even tho you could have potentially taken my insurance. I cannot believe you have someone on staff who was this rude and repelling to people needing Physical therapy and help. You should be ashamed to have someone like this in a helping profession and on your staff.

I went to San Luis Sports Therapy in Atascadero for osteoarthritis in one of my shoulders. The pain was pretty severe before I started PT but Rick and Danny worked their magic and my mobility and range of motion where back in the normal range after five weeks. Michelle always greeted me with a warm welcome. I really enjoyed talking sports with Rick and Danny (Lakers, Dodgers, Eagles, etc.) while competing my exercises. They also provided a regiment of exercises that I continue to do at home. I highly recommend their services.

I just completed a successful course of physical therapy for lower back pain. My back feels much better and I have to thank the excellent staff at San Luis Sports Therapy. They were professional and well trained. In particular I was very satisfied and impressed with Adam Morcos, my principal therapist. He was clearly skilled and was able to explain what we were doing concisely and articulately. I would not hesitate to recommend San Luis Sports Therapy to anyone.

I woke up with my jaw out of alignment and couldn’t chew anything for three days. After my dentist tried twice to get it back into place, Richard Goldbach was a miracle worker! He worked on my jaw and gave me exercises to do to keep the muscle where he had manipulated it. I won’t lie...it hurt, but well worth it. My jaw feels perfectly in place and I owe it all to him and San Luis Sports Therapy Atascadero!
