If your looking for “Real” Organic food, this place will check off all your boxes. They always have fresh produce, meats and local products. Best of all, they have extremely friendly and helpful associates. The store is clean , bright and cheery. 5 Stars without a doubt!!!

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS IF I COULD.PLEASE READ!!On Wednesday July 21 of 2021, I walked into this establishment with my service dog at my side. I had never run into any complications bringing her anywhere, seeing as I need her with me at all times.The owner of the business approached me and had explained that there were no dogs allowed in the store, in which I respected.However, I explained that she is a service dog and was wearing her “Service Dog” vest. I also told her that I am allowed to bring her into any establishment as long as she is on a leash and she does not leave my side.The owner proceeded to ask for specifics about my disability to which I replied that I did not have to disclose personal information nor answer any further questions.She continued to question the validity of my service dog, violently escalating the situation.At this point my brother steps in and explains that I have issues with anxiety, and that my dog is certified to react to my anxiety attacks.Knowing this information, the owner informs us that service dogs that deal with anxiety are exempt from being allowed into any establishment.After repeatedly explaining that I have severe anxiety attacks and this animal is trained to react, the situation continued to spiral and as did my symptoms.After leaving the store, the owner prolonged the heat of the situation and continued to disrespect me and my mental disability.I found myself unable to drive myself home as a result of this futile and outright disreputable altercation.My concern goes out to future customers with disabilities who may be subject to this same disrespectful and unprofessional dispute.The owner of this establishment is clearly not aware of the federal laws pertaining service animals and if you are like me and are trying to contribute to small business vs. big chain stores, stay away from this business and go to Trader Joe’s instead.The amount of inconsideration displayed by this establishment is absolutely disgusting and there will absolutely be consequences to this kind of discrimination.

The food is so fresh! I always have an amazing experience there when i’m shopping for my organic goods. The employees are so helpful. One of the best natural markets in town!

It broke my heart to know that my daughter and her service dog were discriminated and not allowed at this store by the owner. My daughter suffers from severe anxiety attacks and needs her service dog at all times to prevent them from happening.This is extremely unacceptable!!My daughter has never been questioned ever before by any establishment pertaining her service dog because it is NOT a question.Anyone who suffers from mental disabilities should never go through what my daughter went through!!

Bright, open, clean store. I enjoy shopping at Gather, they have a wonderful selection of organic foods and fresh, delicious organic produce, many from local farmers. Items that are specialty as well. The kind and helpful staff make it easy for me to shop here on a weekly basis. Thank you Gather.

Great place for clean eating items.

It is such a shame that Psychiatric Service Dogs are not allowed in this establishment. The way my friend was discriminated by the owner was utterly unacceptable and should be ashamed of herself. SHOPPERS BEWARE THAT THIS ESTABLISHMENT DISCRIMINATES PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. 😔

A natural food market bringing fresh food, plant based dietary options to Atacaderos local community. Right off Hwy. 101, its a convenient stop for last minute items. The owner and staff are warm and the selection of products had many Staples including care for body and home.

Amazing organic, local produce & such kind employees/owners. Love to shop here weekly!

Friendly inviting atmosphere, great selection for organic/gluten free healthy choices.. Bonus having Figs delicious sandwiches and salads, nice little cafe seating area...highly recommend!
