This store is so unorganized and slow. I used Walgreens in Visalia and they were horrible too. I recently moved here and transferred my prescriptions to the Atascadero store. What a mistake. I thought it was just a glitch with the Visalia store. I was wrong. The Atascadero one is just as bad, if not worse.If you use the automated service, they tell you they didnt receive the request even though they send a text verifying Rx. Then you get notice saying they are ready for pick up. You wait 30 min. in line and they tell you its not available til next day. Last month they said they had no Rx for me, but when I showed them the notice sent on my phone, they hunt around and find it. O called in 3 personally last month, was told theyd be ready the next day. I go next day and they say they only had 1 rx that was called in! I talked to a human that time and they did take the request. How can they be so inept and stay in business?

Do not use their pharmacy unless you plan on dying of old age waiting in line. Average wait time if there is more than one car is 20+ minutes. Currently sitting in line at the drive through for the past 30 minutes and only 3 cars have been processed. I can understand a slow down from time to time but not almost EVERY time for the past six months. I am moving my scripts after today.

Bunch of sharks!!!My mother has Medicare and Medi-Cal and this is the second time we go in and they want to charge her for her medication. After presenting all her insurance documents when we dropped off the proscriptions.They charged her the full fee for the medications and didn’t say a word that it’s not covered at all. I had to call them after the fact to find out.That’s the summery of our neighborhood pharmacy. Not going there again.

Its was a nice experience for shopping of beauty products. everything were super clean and well stocked. staff was nice and very good customer service.

Pharmacy worker maria was headache to deal with while picking up a inhalar and follows up with a threat extremely under trained individual. Tried to follow up with the manager Mandy wasnt much help either was more worried about covering up maria track then to attend the situation.

Needed to add money to a Varo account and it was a breeze. Took about 2 min in and out.

Terrible customer service with the pharmacy! Every time we called to check on a prescription we got different answers as to why it was not being filled.The guy we talked to a couple times was so not friendly. Definitely not going to go there any longer.

We have been getting our prescriptions at Walgreens in Atascadero for over 20 years. Most of the employees in the pharmacy are helpful and nice. However, there is a couple one in particular that is rude every single time Ive talked to her. She talks to you as if you are stupid and she raps you are the knuckles like attitude.

I only go into Walgreens if no other place on this planet has what I need. Over the years they are consistently bad on service and they have higher prices than Rite Aid and CVS. I went in a few days ago to get something but could not find it. A female employee passes me but fails to ask if I need anything and doesnt look at me. She is working and not on a break. I walk up to William at the register and ask very nicely if i can get help in the Beauty section. He replies, i guess with an attitude that I am bothersome. A different female employee who arrived to assist me was super nice. I will never go into this Walgreens again. No way.

Inside pharmacy services closed for 1 week after this new years . Line in drive thru long wait time 45 minutes

Was I here to get my holiday cards and some of there sale items. There was only 1 cashier long long line. and poor girl only had 1 hand to work with her other hand was in a sling. she did the best she could with that 1 arm. the store was fully stock and good.just the poor girl I felt bad.

Perfect cleaning 🧻 job—Cashier Terri Saved my life! So, midday, I saw something I did not expected and it’s just the little things that are huge; great teamwork Walgreens. I had barefeet, so gross but I had get a drink (so hot this summer still) and suddenly use the bathroom. My junior driver waited in the car while I just walked in thinking about walking in a public bathroom. As usual it was clean but it was SPARKLING clean and faint smell of bleach.I know online has negatively affected businesses but the managers, photo service, pharmacist, and customer service in cosmetics just have a place in my heart.🙏 thank you, 😊.

Went in at 7pm and was pleasantly surprised to find the pharmacy staffed. I was helped immediately by a tech, who pulled in the pharmacist to answer my OTC drug questions for managing early kidney stone symptoms. He was very polite and had immediate answers to my questions. They were good answers. Ive had a half dozen of these, and his advice both matched and went well beyond what I already knew. I left with three meds that are doing quite a good job on these lesser symptoms, while I wait to see a doctor tomorrow to deal with he escalation.

Great but not carrying all the stuff I needed

Ive been going to this store since youve opened your doors. I would never use another pharmacy personnel are kind and caring , especially pharmacist Adam, they remember my name and my issues without having to explain them every time. I especially like Luanna in beauty products , she always has good suggestions and is very friendly

Every time I’m here the wait is ridiculous at the pharmacy. Literally just waited 20 minutes to pick up my Rx which took 30 seconds to give me. Get a better system already!

For a store that is short staffed these workers always try their best to help and the overnight people are simply the best.

Very poor. Phone response is pathetic. Lose prescriptions and do not know what they are doing. I had to remove my credit card from their system as they overcharged in by more than $600 for other people meds. It took me more than a month to get the funds back.

My insurance changed my pharmacy from CVS. I have had nothing but issues with Walgreens. I must take drugs from a specific manufacturer and they can not get it correct to save their lives. I had to come back 4 times, got charged 2x what I should have, and they still didnt have the correct amount of my medication. Do not trust whats in the bag they hand you. Check before you leave.

Last time I was here, the lady told me 10-15 minutes so I ran some errands (timed it at 30 minutes) even though nobody else was in line. When I came back, the lady told me itd be another 30 minutes which I wasnt going to wait for since I live out of town. Today, I called the pharmacy to see if my medications were ready in advance. They basically accused me of being a drug abuser saying that they wont refill my NEEDED medications because they cant seem to do elementary math on dosing. Ive had numerous other problems with this pharmacy and Im fed up. I will no longer take my business here even if it means I have to pay more.

First I had to wait 45 min just to drop them off. I was told they would be ready after 7:30. When I got there at 8:10 I had to wait another 43 min.and guess what?? they still were not ready and then I was told that one of them would not be ready till the next day. GREAT I get to come back and spend another 45 min to pick them up. If they would have called and said something I could have saved myself 45min and waited an extra day to pick up my scripts. They never have enough help ever so be prepared to wait in long lines

Just Love it. I go for everything. Milk makeup dog supplies. Just love the store. The people are so friendly too.

Ive used the pharmacy here for a long time. There are times that the wait is long but they seem better than most pharmacies in the area.

Pharmacy blows. I pick up the same meds for my mother every month. Wait 20 to 30 minutes in line just to be told they are not ready. Even with receiving a text and calling to verify. This pharmacy needs some serious help.

Worst experience I have ever had. The pharmacists is incompetent. Adam B., the pharmacy manager, who claims to be in charge of the entire store was rude to me and other customers. He makes promises and does not follow through on them. They sent me a text stating that the prescription was ready, call to confirm, and as usual it was not. Dont waste your time with this company. They only want your money and forget about customer service! I would not give it any stars but you have to if you wish to post

Is the best spot and we find almost everything we need.

Need to watch out for certain people in the store at night, as it attracts a lot of.drug addicts.Lets suppose you are not an addict their staff still follows you around and do not offer customer service which is what happened to me. As far as their staff is concerned, and even tho society is changing I believe that management should make them cover up their tattoos should be covered up. Due to the fact that it is a bad reflection of store management and over all health well being. As far as their pharmacy is concerned from a personal opinion I do not take to highly to certain personal taking or whisper behind someones back. Shows a massive lack of intgrity and calls into question wether they are doing their job or just wasting the owners money.

5 STARS (love it) to the entire store and employees omitting Pharmacy1 STAR (hate it) to the Pharmacy for keeping the Pharmacist Bruce WeisI love this Walmart EXCEPT for Bruce Weis, one of the graveyard Pharmacists. I have been filling here for a few years because its convenient and open 24 hours. I can get what I need, I always find deals in the store and every employee has just been excellent in customer service EXCEPT BRUCE WEIS. I am a special needs patient who requires sensitive medication. Every time I go in (once a month to refill a regular medication), he treats me like Im a drug addict for taking this specific med that is prescribed to me by a Dr. He NEVER looks at me. I have seen him nod his head (as he walks away from me) like hes disgusted to have to fill a med that he apparently has a personal opinion about. Today, he questioned the script written by the Dr. The SAME Dr. The SAME medication. The same MG/DOSAGE. All the info is STILL in the system. Again, as he walked away from me and his body language made it clear that I should be ashamed of myself for taking such a medication. I have spoken to the Pharmacy Manager once before and he seemed very concerned how I was treated. I spoke to the Store Manager who also feels the same but explained to me that the Pharmacy employees are not Walgreens direct employees He helped as much as he could. It seems there is nothing anyone can do. I dont think Im the only one who has experienced this. This employee works graveyard so he is not under any supervision and apparently cant be accountable for his behavior towards certain customers. Hes is a bully type. Sadly, I have to make an effort to make sure he isnt there when I need to fill my script. But should I feel that I need to? And if I get BRUCE WEIS this is what I have to deal with. Please do not mistake this Pharmacist for another whos name is also Bruce (bald and awesome). BRUCE WEIS does NOT need to be working with people who take special needs medication. He is harmful in his presentation, he is a poor representative to the medical field and he is not a customer service representative.
