Just now getting around to this when I should have done it a while ago. I’ll start by saying I’m deathly afraid of the dentist now because of this . So, I need something to calm me down before I even go in. I got recommended to go here for a root canal. Was told root canals are easy, went in expecting to have an ok experience. Wrong. Worst experience of my life, traumatic even. He had trouble numbing me first off, so that was bad. And second, I do not think he is very friendly or sympathetic. Neither was his assistant. Because of this experience, I’m even more deathly afraid of the dentist than I was before. Will never use him again for anything.

I cannot say enough GRRRRREAT things about this dentist and his staff!If there was a 1000 star rating I would use it!The dentist was so personable and kind--I felt like I had known him forever!! I also love the fact that his children work there as well -- I just admire and adore the family atmosphere!They were so professional and incredibly patient and Dr Marcum did an amazzzzzzzing job!I would highly recommend them and will be telling everyone how PHENOMENAL the ENTIRE staff was!

Lets just start of by saying I am a huge freak with dentist and needles. I always come in crying and leave crying no matter who works on my teeth. I mean i am deathly afraid of the dentist. Scott Marcum and his team are so amazing. They walked me through everything, and really made me feel better about the whole situation. He also is a great story teller, and each time I went in he made me feel welcome and safe. I had two root canals done by him. And both times I left the place calm and relaxed. I highly recommend him and his team.!

Beautiful office & very caring staff! Dr. Marcum has great chair side manor and his office staff are very knowledgeable. They offer up to 18 months 0% interest and have very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend this office.

Dr. Marcum and his staff are very caring and professional! The office is serene and has up to date technology for diagnosis and treatment.

Upon meeting him for the first time he immediately began ridiculing my diagnosis and the medication I take. Then his exam included hurting me so intensely that I tried to dive out of the chair. I started crying and bolted for the door as soon as possible.

Dr. Marcum is always helpful and accommodating to my patients that I refer to him.

Never again. No kindness or compassion from office staff. Humiliating experience I wont be repeating. I am sure they are probably very nice to patients who are not financially challenged.
