I believe this is a high quality treatment center. I have dropped off a loved one at 7 different places in the area over the years and was most impressed with Astoria Pointe. The counselor, Greg, there was very helpful. This place seemed to take the treatment very seriously and the people there were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it.

I have gotten to know the team at Astoria Pointe over the past 9 months and value them as people and providers of care. I believe them them to be people of integrity who care deeply about the well being of those who seek out their help. In my opinion and experience their #1 concern is the well being of the client . They teach them how to live their lives sober, help them build a network of support and take the necessary steps to move forward in their personal recovery process. I am personally 4 years sober and have worked in the treatment industry for 3 years and would absolutely trust them with the well being of my friends and loved ones.

The food sucked. They have a fake bike club affiliated with the rehab center. 2 of the counselors there are less than par. One of them continually teaches passive aggressive attitudes, tells you to never apologize, is one of the fake bikers, and if you disagree with him he will tell you over and over that your going to relapse. The staff treats you like cattle. I would not have stayed but there is one phenomenal counselor there that was able to help me. I had to switch counselors and I didnt even get to meet with him till half way through my stay. They are just trying to fill beds it is disgusting. Think twice before heading here

This place was the biggest joke I have ever been to in my life. Zero organization. All about the mighty dollar.
