Dr. Barbara is wonderful. I have a fear of dentists and she was so understanding and patient with me. She also discovered issues that did not show up on the x-rays that were causing me pain for a very long time. She was able to fix me up and make me pain free. Highly recommend this Dental facility.

Professional and Friendly staff. I came in with the entire side of my face swollen, without insurance. Three doctors and two other employees discussed my condition as a team to come up with the best treatment plan for me. So grateful to have youre such a good dentist in our little community. 😁

Awful service, will never be coming back, I came for a filling and there was no dental assistant, the dentist cut my lip and was very harsh with my mouth, blamed the cut on me, jabbed the syringe into my mouth and was overall very rude, if i could give no stars i would, everybody i talk to that went here has told me about their awful experiences, also refused to clean my teeth because i have braces. 0/10 will not be going back.

I love doctor Johnathan,i have axiety and was very nervous to go to the dentist.But the whole staff made me feel very comfortable,i had to have 4 extractions and a bunch of fillings done,but to make it easier for me they spread it out over a few weeks,they treat me like a friend.I love them!!

I had to get routine dental work. I decided to check this place out, after discussing some of my requests to make my visit more comfortable the staff wouldn’t even call my insurance company to see if the service was covered or not.

Dr Jonathan is SO good, gentle , understanding and compassionate. I really feel comfortable with him.

The staff is truly exceptional! Any and everything they do is extremely wonderful. Dr Martinez and Maddie are a great team! I had surgery and they made me less anxious than I was originally. Sadie is a pleasure and always comes to see me when Im there. And after Dr Martinez went to Florida, Dr Rodriguez took over my difficult case with ease. I came to this Dental Institution i Dr. Fasdi and he was the best. So nice and calm. He was gentle and took his time. I know for a lot of people can take anxiety annoying. It definitely takes a toll on every day life and its people like him that make you feel good about yourselfThe staff was amazing and the girl that did my x-rays were fabulous. This was our third visit and we are very happy with the service we got. I recommend especially Dr. Gonzales and Dr. Hernandez. They are the best dentists Ive ever had. They are pros at their job! We will be returning.

I have always had anxiety going to the dentist and I havent been in 5 years. I was expecting to be lectured for neglecting my teeth, but instead, Dr Hernandez was so kind and said it looked like I take good care of my teeth. He went over the work that needed to be done. I have had 3 visits and each one has been so pleasant! Ive seen Dr Hernandez 2 times and Dr Barber once. I cant say who I liked more! They both made me so relaxed and made me smile in listening to their conversation. Bonus above them being so kind, they were both very skilled! The thing that makes me most anxious is the shot of novacaine. Both Drs did such a good job with the shot, I cant even say who was better. I barely felt it! I cant say that has ever happened before. The entire staff has made each visit so good that I dont get the least bit anxious knowing I will be going again next week to finish up the work I needed done. I have been recommending them to everyone I talk to! Great place and great people.

I am grateful to Cleveland dental institute, Dr Hernandez did three surgical procedures to prepare me for dentures, he always let me know what he was doing as he worked and what to expect if it might be painful. Very professional and very detailed, I love my teeth and Dr Hernandez I would recommend he really takes time to explain everything and was very kind and professional. Yes

The people at the front desk or very nice, things didnt go bad until I got in the back. First Adonis tried to convince the need to get a root canal to a tooth that is completely black. I requested an extraction the dentist said okay however you want to do it. I explained that I had a partial for my bottom that I would need a tooth added too because the partial clipped onto the tooth he was pulling. He done told me that I did not need a tooth put into the partial it would just be loose I stated no Im not walking around with a tooth missing and my teeth flopping. He then told me that maybe he could figure it out lets just pull the tooth now and worry about it later. I told him that it was okay I would go to a dentist that knows what they are doing. I have had teeth pulled in the past and always the tooth was added to the partial. None of the dentist could speak very good English so it was hard to understand them in the first place. I do not suggest you to go here if you would like your teeth done properly. They give a bad name to Cleveland Dental Institute I have been to the Cleveland Dental Institute in Cleveland and never had this type of experience. What type of dentist would suggest you walk around with a tooth missing and your partial flopping around. I will never go here again and I will continue to tell people not to go there. Corporate needs to take a look at what type of dentist they are hiring basically felt like they just wanted the money so they would do a root canal for now with a crown and then it went bad underneath as I stated it was already black then they would have to pull it another appointment meaning more money. Any dentist or doctor that suggests unnecessary procedures is just a scam looking for money. Find another dentist I sure am.

I would get really nervous and anxious about having any dental work done but now since I have been coming here I have felt more calm and relaxed and know that I am getting take care of. Dr. Hernandez is awesome and amazing and I trust him to work on my teeth. I adore him and he makes me feel comfortable. All thumbs up.

After a car accident with an air bag that didnt deploy I was devastated by the damage to my teeth. Infection set in. Nobody would help because of covid. I was so blessed to find this facility. I have not only received emergency help, I have received excellence. All around, the staff is phenomenal. The doctors are skilled and I am confident that I am receiving the best care possible. Safely.

Do not go here. Every single person I know that has gone here has had major problems. They will give fillings that dont need it, mess up root canals to the point you might lose your jaw, mess up unnecessary fillings to the point the tooth has to be pulled, accidentally leave a drill bit in your gums (all of this has happened). Any other dental place will tell you the horror stories that patients needed fixed. Also I had to wait 5 hours for a 10 minute check up. Never go here, this place should be shut down

Stopped in today to make an appointment for a routine cleaning and exam. The person at the front desk began barking at me, were closed. Four people at the front desk and a person in line in front of me. They are not closed. Since I didnt leave she then says, do you just have a question. I replied yes, I would like to make an appointment for a routine cleaning. She then tells me in an aggressive tone, they are booking cancelled appointments first so any new appointments will be made in July. Would you like to make that July appointment now. I said no Ill go somewhere else. She just stopped talking at that point and I left.

Got my wisdom teeth pulled out today, Dr. Martinez did them and he has done multiple filling for me before as well. He is super awesome, polite and friendly and does his job well! I read online that each tooth is supposed to take 45 minutes to be pulled out each, but it really felt like just a minute to get them pulled out. If you like fast service yet good quality service I would recommend coming here. The rest of the staff are also all very sweet and kind ❤️. Only complaint would be that the initial wait in the waiting room is usually pretty long but thats pretty much anywhere you go to.

The guy I had numbed me wrong 3 times and tried pulling the tooth each time and had to get the supervisor to numb me correctly. Would NOT recommend this place at all.Update: just received a call where they tried justifying him doing it wrong and waiting so long to get someone else.

I’ve always had severe anxiety when getting any dental work done. Dr. Elmallah extracted my wisdom tooth today. He made it painless and managed to make me laugh, too! It was the best experience I could possibly have. Very friendly staff. I even switched and decided to bring my son there too because Dr. Hernandez is so good with him.

My first visit was just fine. Then with appt #2, everything went downhill. Spoke to 5-6 different people, all having extremely different stories and they messed my case up pretty bad. Was told to come in, get impressions for immediate dentures, get teeth extracted right after the impressions, wair a week fir my teeth to arrive. So I get there, and they said all I could do was impressions and absolutely no extractions until immediate dentures were back from lab. Im extremely unhappy and frustrated but have no choice to go elsewhere. I made arrangements for the kids, took 4 days off work, all for nothing. Fed up

Dr.E. is a wonderful dentist. He worked very well with my family member who was very nervous. In no time we were all smiles. His assistant Nicholas was kind, understanding and professional. I recommend this office to anyone needing help.

Im giving them a 5 even though there is room for improvement.The front office staff is amazing. Ive been to similar clinics and the staff is usually apathetic and impersonal. The staff here was very friendly, polite, and professional. I was nervous about my procedure, and their kindness helped put me at ease.Back in the exam area it is pretty much an open room, each chairs area is divided by cabinets. There isnt a whole lot of privacy and you can hear the other patients, especially if theyre being loud. (I didnt enjoy hearing the lady next to me yelling out in pain, but I think she was being overly dramatic lol)The girl (hygienist in training, I believe) who took me back was very pleasant and reassuring. Dr. Assad (if Im spelling that correctly) was very professional and competent. My root canal, while unpleasant, went smoothly.Yes, they overbook and the wait can be long, so take that into consideration. They provide service to so many people, its almost a given that appointments wont always run on time.My only criticism is they seemed to have an issue finding supplies they needed for procedures. My son had his appointment rescheduled because they didnt have something they needed. During my root canal, the hygienist had to go looking for things a few times.Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. I appreciate having the clinic available.

Im changing my one star to a 5. They deserve it. My dentist appointment was really long. But thats alright. They were friendly and perfessional. I had this one dentist unfortunately I cant remember her name she was really good.

Worst dental experience ever...costs are not the same as estimates given per visit. The receptionists dont wear their masks properly. And dragging a root canal out into 4 visits is ridiculous. Dr. Gonzales drilled crooked post and had to have someone else fix it. Not happy with services and will finish my dental work elsewhere. Had to make several phone calls after signing an x ray release in person to get records transferred..they only sent two out of 20 x rays they shot to the other dental office. they said they were so poorly done they were unreadable and they had to reshoot entire mouth x rays anyway. This place is a terrible scam and receptionists are very unprofessional on top of dentists incompetence.

Long story short Ill take a 45min drive to go see Dr. Martinez, hes beyond patient, listens to my concerns, as well as understands my fears n the anxiety. Hes literaly the best, fi ally a dentist I can trust.

Went on a Friday. Waited in the lobby 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time! Once back and in the chair, I waited an additional 45 minutes. The X-ray tech came and was very nice. Took many pictures. She did not have an apron on when she took X-rays, nor was she wearing a radiation badge. I questioned this. The Dr popped his head in. He never introduced himself, glanced at my xrays all of maybe 10 seconds. He looked in my mouth while standing all of 30 seconds! They could not even clean my teeth after waiting all that time! I have made 3 cleaning appointments and they have canceled ALL 3 times!! A truly horrible experience!

Got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled this morning. One of the workers calmed me down because i was very anxious. All went well. Glad they have a local office now!

I called about 1pm with severe pain in my face from a nerve that was exposed they got me in by 3pm I seen dr. Asadi he was very professional caring and calming. If your like me and have anxiety from previous dentistry work this is the place to go. The staff and assistants were also very welcoming and understanding. Highly recommend.!

I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth out on a Friday I didnt want to be knocked out so the dentist refuse to do it . The next day Saturday I thought I was going in for a consultation again with a different doctor but they actually took them out that day. fine they needed to come out and on top of that they didnt fill out my prescriptions correctly I got my antibiotics done but my pain medicine he didnt fill out the prescription correctly Ive been trying to get ahold of him the last few days not open on the weekends getting ahold of them the joke phones always busy really sucks having to be in this pain. My suggestion is make sure you look at everything correctly because the pain pills would have been very very useful. I would still go back

The staff from the front to the back are exceptional!!!!! The gals in the front deserve raises, in fact they all do!!!!!!! Its a delight to go there especially if you are afraid of dental exams, cleaning, extractions etc.. They all put me at ease. Wonderful staff!!!!!

Dentists are good, but the timings? so bad. Always packed, usually behind, usually rushed, and make you Re-sceduale on days they personally scheduled for you and countless others. if you have very good patience then tou might rate higher but its a 3 for meEDIT: I got my fillings last summer, my front tooth filling fell out(i of course do not want to talk nor smile) and i can not eat on my left side due to a nerve they somehow did not manage to either fill so my tooth is still out, or they just were lazy and didnt care to fix it. I now rate this from 3 stars to 1, For a place who should be fixing teeth they sure do no justice for their name.

Dr. Masoud n Janine were absolutely fabulous today! These two gave me my smile back... brought tears to my eyes to see it again!!! It took several hours but neither one complained. I asked him when he first came in the room if he could help me as Im going to Vegas at end of month and he didnt hesitate one second. If able to give 10 stars I definitely would!!! My family and I have been coming to the Ashtabula office for some time now and we love each and every staff member here. Theyre all very friendly and great to interact with!!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊

The receptionists are amazing and they actually care. But the wait per appointment is ridiculous. And the service on waiting to get dentures is outrageous. Shouldn’t have to wait 5 months to get them in. It is absolutely uncalled for. And the doctors themselves kept telling me oh just one more appointment when in reality it’s been 4 more. I’ve lost wages at work for having to leave early or going in late.. but that’s ok?

You guys are a joke... a client of mine has been waiting since the middle of sept for you to send a prior auth to his insurance.. was told yesterday you did that and it was approved. They dont even deserve 1 star!! The staff is friendly indeed, but they havent a clue one what theyre doing. I had an extraction of an infected tooth, no antibiotics prescribed. Nothing for pain. Its now day 2 and im in more pain than when i went in there!! I called the office and was told this is normal. My tongue is swollen. My gums swollen. And the pain is so intense i cannot eat. I was told by someone at CDI to go to er when i cant swallow at all. If these peopke are dentists, im a brain surgeon! They dont care about their patients AT ALL!!!

They injected too far away from the work area and they dont use enough. this is the second visit in a row they screwed me up and sent me home in so much pain that could have been avoided if they knew what they were doing with Novocaine. unfortunately its the only dentist office in all of Ashtabula county that seems to take CareSource, so next time Ill just drive to another county if I want something done right. they also sent me away with prescriptions with the wrong dates on it that the pharmacist wouldnt accept had to call back to the dentist office and get it done a second time. This place seems completely incompetent. Dont waste your time hereAdditional info: the waiting room was full of people scheduled for the same time according to the sign in sheet. It took an hour to get called back. 20 mins later, dentist number 1 shot novacane 2 spaces behind the tooth that needed pulled. 30 minutes later a second dentist attempted to pull tooth which wasnt numb and never was. Second dentist then shot more novacane in the correct spot but only waited one minute before pulling tooth therefore it hurt like hell cause it didnt have time to take affect yet. My mouth hurt like hell the rest of the day when it didnt have to. Also, every other dentist Ive ever been to would never even try to pull a tooth with infection present. They would always prescribe antibiotic and schedule to come back to pull tooth after infection was gone. . And finnaly, I was given two scripts; one antibiotic and another for strong ibuprofen. One script was backdated 6 months ago rendering it expired. I had to call to get the script called in again and make 2 trips to drug store. I cant get more detailed than this. Take it for what its worth.

Dr Masoud is very thorough and theres no judgement due to past medical history. They have made my wife finally like to go to the dentist! Jeneane, April and all the assistants are amazing!! I cant say enough great things about this place. Its such a treasure to have in Ashtabula. The care and time they take to make teeth healthy and look nice is just unheard of. 5 weeks and not one person there can give me a straight answer or call me back about my dentures that are paid for!! What a shame. I believe if i dont hear back this time my next step will be the Better Bisiness Bureau. Then my attorney!

Went in for a root canal, turns out the nerve was still healthy and it was only a filling.

Was able to get my whole family done in an hour and a half thats all 6 of us I was very happy with the Dr and higenest

The phone is a BIG ISSUE! I called over 30 times and left 5 messages, never received a return call .. HOWEVER, one day out of the blue, I called and got an answer and service was expedited from that point forward.I became aware that I was losing my insurance in 20 days, and I knew I needed a cleaning and 1 filling. At my cleaning and exam I learned I also had SEVERAL old fillings where the composite had shrunken and needed replaced. Dr. Mousad (spelling ?) wanted to do the work in 4 visits and the office staff was extremely accommodating in finding 4 open blocks with enough time to complete the process. Long story short, my work was completed in 2 visits, leaving 2 appointments later in the month for other clients.There was some waiting past appointment time, but this is a common issue in any clinic setting .. remember, this is not a private office.At NO TIME did any staff member rush through any procedure, and at no time was I treated with anything less than respect and professionalism .. and I was comfortable and confident at all times!I simply cannot express how grateful I am to every CDI personnel involved in my care and that my work is completed before my insurance expires.I have a true belief that CDI is a great asset to Ashtabula County and that they do, and will continue to serve the community well!Please keep in mind that they are working in a temporary setting and once moved into their permanent location (currently under construction) that the phone and waiting issues will be improved if not resolved.I HAVE HAD much worse service/experiences from private dental offices and am very, very pleased with the care Ive received at CDI ..I think if you exercise a small amount of patience, you will be just as pleased as I am.Thank you!!!

Horrible care. Went for a routine tooth extraction, after expressing problems with the site for over three weeks and repeatedly being told it was healing slowly. And this was actually being seen on a weekly basis. Im now having to seek a oral surgeon to repair my mouth as my jaw bone was exposed. complete gross negligence on several dentist part.
