This was my very first eye exam, and I couldn’t be happier. The staff were very professional and helpful. I felt well cared for and well educated about my eye care needs moving forward. On top of that, their Covid protocols were impeccable. I would highly recommend The Eye Center to anyone who needs a referral.

I’ve seen a couple other eye doctors in town, and haven’t felt settled with someone I want to work with until now. The whole team is really present and easy to be with and the doctor is wonderful. They are dialed in and served me exactly the way they said they would. Really easy parking and access for being downtown as well. I feel like I’ve found my place!

I was super impressed with the service here. I never leave comments but They got me in fast on an emergency and the doctor explained everything in detail and answered my questions without being annoyed. Worth every penny.

This is by far the best eye doctor I have ever been to Dr. Mikolich is amazing! She is super nice and helpful. She did a very thorough eye exam. She answered all my questions and she has great experience showing me things about my eyes I never knew before. The staff is also wonderful they are caring and very knowledgeable! I would 100% recommend!!

I have visited The Eye Center for 10 years and I am very pleased with my continued experience, particularly the extent to which Dr. Ashlin Mikolich, O.D explains the benefits and potential drawbacks of my options (e.g. Lasics, altered prescriptions). I have never had a bad experience at The Eye Center.

I first got an eye exam here in 2008. Everyone has always been kind, helpful, and efficient. I’m confident they’re taking good care of my eyes and they also have great frames to choose from, plus awesome advice if you’re feeling indecisive.

They were great, friendly, on time, and very thorough. In fact, I think it was the most comprehensive eye exam Ive ever had. All good.

I was very impressed at how friendly and professional the staff were! They had all the newest machines to diagnose eye health. They also had an amazing selection of frames to choose from. I couldnt be happier with all aspects of my visit!

My first visit to the Eye Center was handled very professionally from start to finish. Their safety protocol was well thought out and executed. The examination was Very thorough and the results were explained with just the right amount of detail. I felt very well taken care of: reassured about the health of my eyes and Informed about what steps to take to keep them healthy. And there was no sales pressure, which was great.

I had a great experience at the eye center. First off, they take Covid protection seriously. They only let in one client in at a time. Their exam machines were better than the last place i went to. After the exam, they really explained everything clearly. I wasnt planning on buying glasses that day but they have lots of great choices in well made frames and I found the colors I was looking for.

I moved away from Asheville and tried out a couple of practices closer to my new home, but they didn’t measure up so I’ve decided to make the hour and a half drive once a year back to Asheville to be able to come here. They have the latest equipment, do a thorough exam and take the time to explain things. The frames they choose to carry are also reliably good quality.

Great office all around - easy appointment setup, exceptionally safe environment, helpful and well explained care, clear set of options taking into my insurance benefits. Marianne was awesome, Dr. Mikolich too. Will return for frames soon.

I felt very safe and comfortable. The doctors take their time to listen, and not rush through the appointments. They did not make me feel pressured to purchase contacts or glasses right on the spot, but allowed me to try them through the weekend to ensure I had the best fit for me. The staff at The Eye Center really makes the experience enjoyable.

Everything went very well and my examination was very thorough. The young man who worked with me before turning me over the the Ophthalmologist knew and performed his job well. But he might consider a little help with being more empathetic and friendly. To be clear he explained things to me & answered questions that I posed to him. But when you are in a service business you have 30 seconds +/- to make a connection with people. Thats whats going to help you sell a more expensive pair of frames or an extra pair of glasses or make the lens transitional. Thats what makes someone who is a patient tell their friends how great it is to go to the Eye Center.10/8 I had my annual eye appointment today at the Eye Center. The staff was terrific. They were extraordinarily thorough. They were also very efficient and I came in and was able to leave in a reasonable amount of time. I absolutely recommend the Eye Center.

Ive been getting my eye exams here for almost a decade. The staff has always been very helpful and accommodating when my schedule is an issue. The equipment is great and I think they try to keep up with new technologies in optometry and eye care. I cant recommend this place enough

After multiple attempts to find a correct eyeglasses and contacts prescription over two years, the Eye Center has been unable to produce a quality prescription for either that helps me see well. Theres somehow an issue every single time. When I asked for a refund, they offered to make it better by remaking my glasses, yet again, but I have lost my patience and no longer want them as a provider. I am very disappointed that they were unwilling to work with me as a customer who has been extremely patient for over a year, with no tangible results. I unfortunately cannot recommend their services to anyone, and would encourage you to go elsewhere.

I got an eye exam last year, very thorough and informative. I wound up purchasing glasses at another big box place because Im in Asheville only for the summer and wanted the flexibility to have them serviced elsewhere. I am sorry I did that because Ive had a lot of trouble with the bargain glasses not fitting properly. I also got reading glasses at the Eye Center and they have been great.

My whole family goes and they are always patient with my littles who have been going since they were 1 and 3!

The staff & doctor are good and seem like nice enough people but I felt ripped off here. I remember thinking wow, thats a lot after my first visit because it was double what Ive paid in the past but realized I had selected expensive frames so that was my fault. The next visit I asked to be shown the affordable frames thatd be mostly covered by insurance and they walked me away from the walls lined with frames over to a desk where they pull out a box with about 10 frames. Maybe it was my imagination but I felt as if the sales person treated me a bit differently after that. I understand they may need to sell the pricey frames to pay for the hip downtown office space but thats not on me. Ive used glasses for 10+ yrs and never paid so much for visits & frames. Still have the same insurance and pay less after switching to a new eye doctor where they are friendly and less judge-y.

I cannot say how pleased I have been with the services provided by the Eye Center. Dr. Endrys exams are the most comprehensive I can ever recall and his bed-side manner is excellent as well.I have had several issues arise with my glasses and have never, ever, never found any of the staff to be less than most helpful in resolving problems. And all my issues have been resolved to my great satisfaction.I look forward to my visits there and always recommend their services to anyone with whom I have conversation about such issues.

Due to my high degree of myopia, eye exams can be a little stressful for me, but Dr. Mikolich and her staff put me at ease and minimized the anxiety connected with the examination. This is an excellent practice. I have been going to Dr. Endry for many, many years. I wear progressive- lens eyeglasses. My eyes require me to need a new prescription about every two to three years, so he has evaluated my eyes many times. Each new prescription has worked perfectly and I have had no problems with a prescription. The quality of the lenses he has made for my glasses appears, to me, to be extremely high. Dr. Endry keeps up with and uses the latest technology to evaluate my eyes. Plus his staff are competent, patient and friendly. This is my vision practice for life.

The people are the best fast nice and pro at the eye ware game.but the cost is out of this world and not in a good waytwo glass that would cost around town for $500.00 to $550.00 cost me over $1,000.00 a biltmore price but I do not have that type of income.but I had to pay.but the doc and Ladys were great and very nice

Ive worn glasses for nearly 60 years. Paul Endry delivers the best eye care I have ever experienced. His expertise detected a serious condition now under care from an ophthalmologist which probably saved me from glaucoma.

I have been a patient of Dr. Endry for many years. I started seeing him on a recommendation and I couldnt be happier. I have a particularly difficult presciption and he has always been so generous with his time and patience in spirit.

I have been the Eye Center a couple of times and could not be more pleased. Dr. Endry takes the time needed to make sure my eyes are in good health, my prescription is correct and I know any new options for corrective vision. I will use the Eye Center as long as I am in Asheville and recommend Dr. Endry to anyone who asks.

I recently lost my glasses in a house fire. Actually I lost everything the day after I was discharged from a 10 day admission in the hospital. I guess I have taken for granted how necessary and important glasses are in any tasks when I am awake because the loss of my glasses seems to be the hardest challenge I faced. I had to depend on Red Cross to help me with many areas of necessity such as a place to live, medicines and in this replacement of my eye glasses. The only place in Asheville NC that is a VSP Provider turned out to be THE EYE CENTER. Dr. Endry spent in excess of 3 hours with me on this day as he found I had Glaucoma and knew I had no insurance or way to see a specialist so he is helping me until I can....He pretty much sees my eye health more important than my ability to pay him... Sadly so there are very few medical providers that do this.

It just doesnt get better than Dr Endry! Courteous and comprehnsive with regards to eye examinations and personalized solutions. I cant praise Dr. Endry and his competent staff enough!!
