Really friendly folks on our visit. We did go on a Sunday so we were in & out pretty quick. Im sure there are other times where its really busy. Overall it was a good visit. Id say we will definitely go again but, well try to stay away! ;) unless something happens again, then well definitely go to this one!

I fell off an electric bike in a gravel parking lot and my friend brought me to FastMed Urgent Care. The PA who treated me, Samantha Moore, was terrific. She was very gentle, but thorough, and explained what she was going to do before she did it. It has been about a week and my hands and arm are healing nicely, including the stiches , which come out soon.Having an accident away from home and your regular medical providers can be scary, but I really felt I was in good hands. I should also add that Isent a message with some follow-up questions and she called me with the answers!In addition to Samanthas care I appreciated the receptionist (whos name unfortunately I do not have.) She was also very caring, and while we had to wait about an hour to be seen I never felt forgotten.

The check in procedure was easy and quick, even if they cannot scan the app’s QR code. The person as the front desk was great. Dr. Kelly and her staff were fantastic. It was just getting a physical, but it was quick and professional. I am making them my PCP

I love the staff and Kelly is my dr she is bright intelligent answers all my questions she spends time going over everything shes the best

Waited for over 2 hours with my four year old while other patients were taken back ahead of us. We had an appointment and because the front staff forgot to press a few buttons on her screen we were left to wait. There were only three other people in the waiting room so it’s not like they didn’t see us. When we were taken back, the MA took our child’s vital signs and took some swabs only to leave us for another hour until the PA came in to do a check on our child. This is terrible care and no apologies were made, I have felt mistreated and I will never go back there again.

By far the best service I have ever received in an urgent care/clinic! Hands Down!The entire staff, from reception/admission to the amazing team of ladies that assisted me, it was not only efficient, but I was treated with care and attention to detail.I wish all emergency care centers were just as pleasant and served with such charismatic and funny professionals. They made a rough day better from the moment I walked in. Thanks especially to my PA, Miss Sam. Truly a gem in her field.

No appointment required is on the door but once inside they wont see you without an appointment?My injury didnt require the emergency room because it wasnt life threatening it just need medical attention that day to relieve the pain, but they wanted to make me an appointment for the next day instead. I was thankfully able to be seen at the Canton urgent care and was sent home in just a couple of hours with the medicine I needed.

I needed a screening test for employment and went to FastMed as a walk in. Wait was very long, but the staff there were not at fault by any means. They were understaffed, but extremely helpful, professional and understanding of all that entered while I was there. I dont know what they make...but should get more.

My visit to Fast Med was quite unexpected. It was due to a dog bite received at work. The staff was exceptional. The moment I walked in the door visibly shaken and in pain I felt cared for and in good hands.From Alison greeting me, to Susan the assistant that day, to Samantha Moore the PA, whose extremely capable hands cleansed and sutured my wounds with expertise, my visit was(if possible to use the word) a pleasant experience!While still in the healing stage they again showed kindness and concern for my welfare at my subsequent visit.Also of note, while waiting, I noticed some people being turned away for various reasons. Alison spoke with respect and empathy to each.It’s the kind of care the whole staff showed that we all need when we’re hurt or unwell.

Absolutely infuriating experience. I was the first patient in for COVID testing, and the only one there with an actual appointment. It took a while for them to process my insurance information so they sent in the next patient while I waited. I get that part, but they only had 2 rapid tests left and used BOTH of them on the other patient. I do my best to be understanding, calm, and easy going, but what a waste of my time and disrespect for common courtesy. The guy at the front desk was nice, but that isn’t enough. Will never visit this clinic again.

The ladies here are very professional and friendly, especiallyTy and Samantha. The covid test and results were super easy and fast. If you can, schedule your appointment in the afternoon, the mornings seem a bit busy. Anyway, I highly recommend this place!!

I’ve been seeing Rnp Kelly Stoia as my primary care for 18 months and she’s been more thorough than any other doctor over EVER had! She is incredibly knowledgeable, makes a point of referring to previous visits in order to assess any past issues and has been more informative about certain conditions I’ve had than any specialist. The staff is professional, efficient, polished, and friendly. I am so grateful to have found Kelly and FastMed as theyve helped me and my boyfriend both.

Was the best experience I have ever had with an urgent care. The staff listened and where extremely kind and courteous. The staff at FastMed Biltmore on Hendersonville Road are truly a class act & are to be acknowledged. I thank you for making what I felt would be a nightmare such a pleasurable process. I even saw the staff sanitizing the waiting area as we walked up.

Had a sinus infection and was able to be seen within about an hour of arrival. The doctor who saw me listened to what I had to say about my condition and last experience with sinus infections and after exam, wrote script for me to get started on antibiotics. Great experience and highly recommend!

Fastmed has quickly become my go-to urgent care. I love the online appointment and check in system so by the time I get there, there’s barely a wait. They are also open later than other urgent care places in town. I have always been treated extremely well when I’m there. Specifically at my last appointment, Tai and Dr. Moore’s care was absolutely above and beyond. I even received a follow up call a few days later to see if I was feeling better. Highly recommend!

Although they changed their policy to appointment only. I was able to get in and have a drug screen the next day. The staff was very friendly.

My experience here was absolutely awful.I came in immediately after breaking my leg, obviously in need of an X-Ray.After waiting over an hour to be seen, the physician Scott Barlow simply told me their X-Ray machine was down and apologized for the front desk not telling me sooner.I left and went to a different provider and emailed their customer service about getting a refund for my copay.After a week I saw that this Fast Med physician Scott Barlow had billed my insurance $329 which is insane abuse of my situation given the fact that ZERO care was provided.The billing department of Fast Med refuses to revoke the claim to my insurance, and will not refund me my deposit.don’t go here.

The staff was very caring and thorough. It was an extremely busy day for them and they still made us feel cared for.

I was the second person to check in at 8am. I was informed that there would be no way that anyone would see me before 10am. What the heck are they doing?

My father needed urgent attention and ER was backed up. I dropped by FastMed and every one was kind, friendly and professional. They brought a wheelchair out to my car for him and helped him in and out. He was treated promptly and we were sent home with additional instructions and products for home care.

I thought everyone there was incredibly helpful- Even though they were extremely busy with emergency care I was greeted like I was their first patient of the day- Tye was extremely pleasant as was Kelly who did all she could to get me what I needed to feel better-Also let me not forget those at the front desk- All in allYes FastMed is the place to go fir urgent care and yes they treat you the way they do because it shows that they care as wellWIN WIN

Not a very responsible urgent care. Treatment was standard, no complaints there, but that should be expected from any doctors office. If you are wanting to access any of your medical records after treatment, its not going to happen. Ive spent weeks, not days, weeks attempting to get a single record from these people and they always have an excuse. The records are part of a lawsuit that cannot be settled until the records are provided. It has gotten to the point they ignore my calls, massages and emails. Super unprofessional and quite frustrating really. Do not go here for treatments involved with lawsuits.

Quick service! No wait at all. The medical assistant and PA were very nice. The waiting room and examination rooms were clean. COVID precautions and regulations are adhered to. No worries.

Honestly, save yourself the time and go someplace else. Doctors are great but the billing department is a disgrace. They take your card to put on file, then send a text days later saying in ‘2-4 days we will charge your card X amount’. No EOB or anything. Then when you try to contact someone about why it’s that amount, they give you the run around. I’ve been trying for months to get in touch with someone about the bill, left countless voicemails and no one called me back. Got the number to their head office and no one called me back. Meanwhile they sent it to collections and increased what I owed.Finally someone named Cynthia from billing called me back, we played phone and email tag for about a month. Finally got on a call and she proceeded to scream at me. I have worked in both a call center and doctor offices, that is not how you speak to someone who needs help/has been having issues. Asked to speak to a supervisor and she said yeah but he won’t call back. So PLEASE find some place else.I never leave reviews but I am utterly disgusted with how I was treated during this whole process but seems like I wasn’t the first and won’t be the last. Such a shame.

The staff was really nice! The wait was much longer than we anticipated. We called in advance and try to make an appointment, and still had to wait. I believe they were understaffed so they were doing the best they could considering.

I called yesterday about a titer test (required for school) and they said come on in they can do it. I got here early this morning and they couldn’t file my insurance for it. It was going to be almost $200 for a test that would take 2 minutes. They were going to charge for an urgent care visit AND the test even though I was only receiving the test. What a greedy business. They completely failed to mention thiswhen I called. Incredibly frustrated I asked off work to come this morning and waited 15 minutes before being told this

Tried to charge me $70 for a COVID rapid test.Oh hell no.Past experiences with them have not been good for injuries either. Very $$$$

I love this place. My wife, mother and I all use their family practice side and everything about it has been amazing. We have also used the urgent care side very recently, and this is definitely one of the best urgent care facilities I have been to. Everyone is kind and wonderful and all of my concerns have been addressed. The only real drawback is that they do get crazy busy and wait times can get extreme especially right now, but the staff is so incredible and professional that the waits are worth it.

I shouldve just withdrawn $150 from the ATM and set it on fire. It wouldve taken less time and been equally helpful. By the way, they will not tell you this until you arrive for your appt, but they implemented a new policy on June 21 that if you do not meet your deductible, they charge you $100 on top of your copay. 👎👎 Absolutely useless.

I never realized how great an urgent care really could be. As far as Im concerned, Ill never go to a traditional MD office again unless I need to see a specialist. I wait less time than at a regular office and I can get ANYTHING done there. To to it off, I can just walk in whenever its convenient for me. Ive been here several times now for pre employment things and as a traveling nurse if I ever need care anywhere in the country Ill first look to see if there is a Fast Med.

The girls at the front desk were very friendly and willing to help filling out questions. Very professional. The man that took me to the back room was respectful and professional. The provider that took care of me was informative about the procedure she was going to do and tried making me as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this particular facility. My daughter and I went to get a school sports physical. The customer service was magnificent! All the employees that assisted us, was very friendly, respectful, attentive, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this facility.

Very nice place. This is the first Dr. I’ve been to in a long time where I genuinely felt welcomed. The nurse who saw me was great. So compassionate & non judgmental. The only problem you run into is delayed wait times. Make sure you get there early. My only complaint would be the crowded wait rooms. Having people wait in their cars would be much more safe due to covid.

Really quick. Super helpful. Walked in with some scratches on my eye and was out in about an hour with a prescription and already feeling better. Everyone was nice and very safe!

The people are caring and really do their best to take care of you. The only reason they are getting four stars instead of five is because they are popular and that can create long wait times.

Staff cared about figuring out my diagnosis based on symptoms. Listened to my concerns. I have not had good experiences with other urgent care companies, but the staff at FastMed was responsive and respectful to the situation.

Best FastMed experience. Went in for a covid test because I was experiencing symptoms, they were very busy and there was a wait to check in, but all of the front desk staff were patient, friendly, and professional. There was about a 3 hour wait time but I was able to just go home and they called me when it was my turn which ended up only being about a 2 hour wait. Was very happy that I didnt need to wait in the office, especially since I may have been contagious. The PA that saw me was so kind and caring and made sure I felt comfortable with my test results and how to proceed before I left the room. 10/10 experience!

I could not have been more impressed or grateful for the care I received at FastMed in Biltmore Village. Everyone was courteous, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The registration process was well organized and I waited only a short time. The care and attention I was given was excellent. I highly recommend FastMed Urgent Care.

Not all staff members wear masks while speaking on the desk phone at the check-in desk (even though phones work the same with or without a mask on...) or while speaking to each other. They also didn’t enforce others wearing masks. Not a place I felt comfortable waiting for a work-related drug screening. Some staff were incredibly nice but I would absolutely avoid this place, if possible, during a pandemic.

I really trust going to Fast Med. It is a long wait most of the time but right now there are a lot of people sick so its understandable. You want them to take their time. They make sure you are taking care of and their prices are not skyrocketing either. They care about your care than your money. When I cant see my Dr In trust them to go to.

Everytime I have gone here there has been less than a 5 min wait. Both the administration and FNP are personable and super efficient. The follow up is just as great.

I came here for a breast exam July 28 last summer. I had family planning Medicaid. Not only did the lady at the front desk tell me it would be covered by my Medicaid if I put it under physical but she neglected to know or explain that this clinic didn’t do physicals or use family planning Medicaid at all. So I came in just a couple days before I got full coverage Medicaid (which I got 8/1). Fast forward to last month I got the Bill when it was far past the window to cover it retroactively with my full coverage Medicaid. I also got a huge bill that said $351 and cut down to $179 with insurance. All the doctor did was ask a few very bored questions and a feel me up aka a minor breast exam. Not a physical and NOT a mammogram, which requires equipment. My mom was an Air Force captain and nurse in the military for forty years. She said a breast exam costs no where near that much. They screwed me by giving wrong info, billing me for much more, and giving me the Bill too late to be covered. Then when I called the clinic and the billing department no one knew anything or cared to be helpful. Entirely unethical, corrupt, dishonest and unprofessional.

Waited for an hour and a half, asked how much longer the wait would be and was told another 2 hours! Left and was able to get right on elsewhere. One star only because I couldnt leave zero.

The facility was clean and well organized. The staff was professional, friendly, and respectful. Most of all, each staff member listened carefully before responding. I received help with my medical problem because the medical team provider took an extra step - she ordered a test to further determine if I had an infection that didnt show up in the initial test.

Feeling miserable and in some pain I was greeted and helped by staff at the front desk as soon as possible. It looked liked a busy afternoon with quite a few people already in the waiting room. All staff members were helpful, professional and the doctor didn’t just concern herself about my immediate problem, she ordered another lab test to ensure that my symptoms were not heading to a more serious problem. The prescription I needed was called into a pharmacy less than five miles down the road and I was able to pickup the medication on my way home. This morning, the day after my visit, I received a telephone call to explain the results of one of my lab tests, and the nurse went over some results that I should follow up with my primary care physician.I highly recommend anyone needing urgent care to come here for help.

The lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. She tried many ways to get our insurance to be OK for the service. The doctor that checked the Xray was very careful checking it and deciding what was the best for my daughter. In general EXCELLENT service.

I dont ever write reviews but here we go. After a poor experience at blue ridge community health where they would not examine me in person due to my side effects being covid related. I had also had to covid test where I tested negative, but they still would not see me in person.The crew at fast med welcomed me with open arms and could clearly tell I wasnt feeling good. They showed great team work, and were able to examine me in person and properly diagnose my illness vs the telephone appointment I had with blue ridge.Thank you

My husband went there 2 years in a row for a worker physical. Both times they didn’t do the blood test correctly and on the second occasion they incorrectly coded his visit as a emergency procedure leaving him with a balance to pay.This visit is always paid for by his medical insurance and certainly was not an emergency but since they coded it wrong he was charged.He called them and they agreed about the wrong coding and agreed to correct the issue but continue to send him a bill, with treats of sending it to a collection company.He has attempted to call them numerous times with most times them just not answering the calls.He finally had to advise Blue Cross Blue Shield and explained to them what this company did.BCBS is going to pay it even though it was FASTMED billing depts lack of concern to correct their problem and incorrect coding.My question is how many times do they incorrectly code a procedure and people just land up paying because they don’t want it to go to a collection company. My other concern is that they are unwilling to address an issue when they have no one that will answer a phone call.This was extremely upsetting.

Friendly, professional staff. My visit was on Thanksgiving and they managed the flow of patients on a holiday very well. Doctor was thorough and comprehensive in his diagnosis and treatment. After Mission closed the office near us, it was good to find a quality alternative.

My provider told me that she was advising me as though I was a family member, and not just a patient. I had a very positive experience. I was visiting from Miami with my family and developed an allergic reaction to antibiotics I was on. The symptoms were getting worse so we decided to go to urgent care upon my doctors advice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The PA that saw me was very thorough. He was reassuring and I left there feeling confident that I didnt have anything serious to worry about. I started improving the next day after the visit so he was spot on. Thank you!

Excellent care by the staff and PA Sam Samantha was awesome. She quickly diagnosed my shoulder injury and it wasnt as severe as I thought so I was on my way with some basic instructions. I was in and out of there for urgent care in probably 30 minutes. Outstanding job. I highly recommend them-

I had the best experience with the staff at FastMed Urgent Care!I was leaving the next day for a trip abroad and was awaiting results of a covid test I had done at another walk-in clinic. When it became obvious I wasnt going to receive the results in time for my trip, I called FastMed. They suggested I come in right away, and an hour later I had the results of my rapid covid test in hand. The staff (Victoria in particular) bent over backwards to take the stress out of a challenging situation and get me in and out quickly. The PA was efficient and friendly. All in all, they saved the day and allowed me to get on that important flight. Cant thank them enough, and I wont ever return to the other clinic.

Instead of just offering just a Covid-19 test, FastMed now requires a full patient visit for greater than $100. What the hell. Appointments arent honored anymore, they are just open quotes suggestions, according to the check in person, to assist them in getting paperwork completed. I showed up for an 8:35am appointment at 10 till 8 and had to wait 90 minutes before I was seen. Now, I think the place is just a money grab and not being as quick as they could be given the high need for just a test.

FastMed is wonderful. I saw a PA who listened well and was attentive. They were very fast and no appointment was needed.

During a pandemic, 3 staff members not wearing masks. It is upsetting that they are not properly caring for themselves, coworkers, and patients. Update to this review, I just went to the review site to see if my review was here and I see another review that said staff members werent wearing masks. This is very disheartening that my experience was not an isolated incident.

I went in for a COVID test. Everyone was extremely nice even though the office was full. I would go there again before I would go to Mission or Mercy.

I was a visitor at Biltmore. I fell & cut the back of my head open. Went to this Urgent Care facility. They were wonderful. Put staples in to help stop the bleeding. Very professional & understanding. I would recommend this facility to anyone in that area to use it if needed.

Im was first time FastMed Urgent Care in 2016. Im was sick 😷.Now today April 18, 2018- Im again sick go Urgent Care. Now second times here. Im not know that anymore away application paper. Now use iPad type, picture with I.D. card, medicine card, etc. Thats better fast way than paper. 👍😮

All the staff was very professional and gave detailed answers to all my questions over the phone and in person. Even with how busy they were with the high demand for covid tests, they were very direct and worked as quickly as possible. I really appreciated Isreals help throughout my entire visit.

My experience and the care I received was excellent. The young lady that helped me Samantha was very pleasant and professional with the care and treatment that I received. The day before my son was their he received excellent care. She remembered me from bringing him in . What she couldnt provide for him there she sent use straight to the hospital. Learned something new during our trip to Asheville. If your kids are traveling with you and are over 18 and have a medical emergency Make Sure They Have Their ID with them when you go to urgent care. The girl at the front was not very helpful as she delivered this information but when my DGT found a copy of her license on her phone and we get help, the nurses and doctors were very helpful and we were treated quickly.

Called into fast meds to make an appointment to be seen today and the receptionist told me I did not need one that walk-ins were welcome. I get there and Walk up to check in and then the receptionist told me that I need an appointment and I told her I had just called and I was told I didn’t need one and she said that they had just made that determination 30 minutes ago him and refuse to see me today told me that they could see me tomorrow

On Sunday, I went to the Candler FastMed and they had sign that they were closed, so I went to this Hendersonville Road location. Despite an influx of rerouted patients, this office did not compromise the quality of care and customer service with the influx of visitors while being short handed.The Check In staff was immediately helpful and courteous. The expert PA who saw my child was super sweet and patiently explained everything. This made my child’s experience to the urgent care visit less scary. Thank you staff at Hendersonville Road! You did a great job.

My experience was terrible front desk workers were rude and nasty it was obvious I was in a lot of pain due to the fact I could barley walk. Most of the patients were being tested for Covid or waiting for results and had checked in after I checked in were seen before I was I waited for over two hours and was never seen finally left and went to mission hospital emergency room and was seen less than ten minutes staff made sure I was well taken care of did everything to make me feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. I would never recommend anyone not even my dog to be seen at fastmed urgent care the whole facility and staff are trash.

The appointment times don’t mean you will be seen then so if you’re on a schedule, plan accordingly. I’m usually not very critical of these types of places, as I understand it’s a business and they are there to turnaround customers “patients” quickly. However, it definitely has that “get you through quickly” feeling. The nurse and doctor didn’t really listen to my valid concerns about my COVID symptoms, and rushed me through. It wasn’t busy and I could hear them all chattering outside my door as I waited. It’s one of those situations while my care I’m sure was adequate, it’s important to go the extra step and make sure patients are experiencing quality care while also having a good bed side manner. It should feel less churn and burn and more like a quality care setting.

Incredibly helpful patient, and hard working staff and doctors. Online appointment system is a little confusing as it’s not really an appointment; however, when I called to check wait time the person I spoke with was very helpful! Front office staff are great.

Do not come here and waste your money! I came in with a migraine asking for migraine medicine. The doctor saw me for one minute and said I don’t have a migraine, I get migraines I know what they are. Sent me to the er where after 8 hours and a huge hospital bill I got migraine medicine and I’m better right away. What a waste coming here

I needed a covid-19 test and they were all very friendly. Nice place clean it did not take long. They care about you nice place to go. If you need any help try them.

They are very nice and at the same time, professional.I’ve come to know some of the staff and I’ve come to trust them. I’m a nurse myself so I know it’s not always easy to be kind to everyone in these covid times, but they are.

Our nurse practitioner, Samantha, was fantastic. Very informative with my son and his knee injury. What I was NOT happy was us being expected to wait with all the other people, who all were there for Covid testing. That is unnecessary exposure, in a time where we want less exposure. Please designate one location for all Covid testing.

Went in early Nov after covid exposure @ work. Were matter of fact about charging me fee of $40.00. I argued for 15 mins with illl-knowledged front desk staff: This was incorrect-tests should be free & are subsidized by the US Government. Considering I had insurance, I should especially not be paying anything. Yet, I had to, and now, nearly 4 mos later did I finally get my $ after having to place numerous calls. They never responded to my insurance company or me until I finally got someone at corporate who saw a credit sitting in my account. It seems like a scam to charge for provider fees and bilk insurance. (And labcorp lost my test after waiting over a week for results so I had to go somewhere else and start over.) This is my third and last time in 8 years coming here; its something every time. I have worked in Drs offices for over a decade. This is not how an office should be managed

I went here as a new patient cause my drs office was closed. Everyone here was extremely friendly and helpful when I was having an allergic reaction and got me to feeling better. I will definitely come back here if I need someone when my primary drs are not able to see me much better than some other clinics in the area

Quick check in, listened to my concerns and got straight to the point. Feeling much better today after my visit yesterday. All staff was following strict covid guidelines and I very much appreciate that.

This was the most unprofessional medical experience I’ve ever had. To begin, online check in was a joke. I had to try three times to get an “appointment” time for the next day, there was no choice for COVID test in the drop down for reason for visit, and the link to fill out the online paperwork didn’t work. I was scheduled for 11:10am. I received a text with the time and to arrive 10 minutes early. I arrived at 11am. The receptionist told me I was late so I’d have to wait longer. I went to the waiting room to fill out the paperwork and received a text to arrive at 11:55am because they were running behind. I chose to wait in the waiting room because I had zero confidence I’d actually be called for my test if I waited in the car. I waited 3 hours to get a rapid Covid test that took all of a minute to swab. Before the swab, my blood pressure and temperature were taken. It was supposed to take 15 minutes to get the results after about 30 someone came in, told me I was positive and asked me if I had any questions. No examination or medical history were taken. I asked a few questions and left. I believe the entire charade of waiting was so my insurance company could be charged for an office visit / examination versus just a Covid test. The poor people who work here and the people who expect treatment are all victims of a corporate money making machine that obviously doesn’t invest in tech that works or enable adequate care. I’ll never go here again.

They refused to see at 7:45 when they close at 8. I told them I had an ear infection which they could have definitely have helped me before closing time. If you say you close at 8 then you should see patient until then!!!!🤬
