Ive been going here for quite sometime but here lately they dont seem to care. Had a video call day before yesterday in which we counted my meds, having the amount that I should have, go in today for a med visit/ urinalysis which they didnt do but said they had received reports that I have been selling my meds. I mean seriously, Ive got degenerative bone disease, hurt like hell most of the time,why would I sell my meds when I need them so bad ?

Dr. Buzzanell and staff are the most caring and thorough practice Ive ever been to. If your looking for help with chronic pain in an effort to return to a more normal lifestyle , they are the best .

They are very nice folks. Dr.buznell has a very soothing attitude with me and his staff. The facet injections hd relaxed you when he talks to his staff during procedures. Extremely professional. I highly recommend blue ridge pain management.

I was pleasantly surprised at the care and concern demonstrated from the staff at Blue Ridge Pain Management. Its refreshing to be treated as a patient who is heard and not just moved through hurriedly. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for individualized and personalized treatment. However, if being rushed through like cattle and herded out to pasture until someone notices is your preference, then this practice isnt for you.

Doctor didnt even look at the MRI cd which I brought with me. He only looked at an x-ray which was taken at the facility during my appointment.I am really only interested in a spinal cord stimulator, which I learned this place doesnt even provide.Why was I even there???He prescribed physical therapy, which I have experienced in the past and found that it only makes my pain WORSE!

OMG I do believe Im going to report Dr. Buzzanell to the State Medical Board. Ive been seeing Dr. Buzz at least 8 years and the first 6 were really good. All of sudden hes become a factory and my wait in the lobby has gone from an hour to more like two. Hes packing people in for Radiofrequency ablation as though its a panacea for all back pain. By the time I got into the room for the injection any valium I had taken had long ago worn off. I was in incredible pain and screaming from the procedure. Ive changed doctors to Carolina Spine, have had outstanding care, was able to get my much needed epidural with sedation at Mission and have been super happy with my experience. Do not go near Dr. Buzzanell if you want a real doctor to take you seriously

Everyone is kind and compassionate. Dr Flury and the xray tech (sorry I can not remember her name) took very good care of me. My pain has subsided for now and as with everyone I can only pray it wont come back and if it does it is something I can tolerate.Once again thank you to the staff for a job well done.

Actually this review is from frequent patient, John Boyer, and I cant speak highly enough about Haley Ward and her assistants, Riley and Lisa, plus the admin personnel in the front office.Everyone treats me with the highest respect and courtesy, listens to me, and provides outstanding care for my unique and complicated pain issues. They have been especially helpful and professional during the virus epidemic.

I feel I should revise the review I posted after my first encounter with BRPM. After my first consult and subsequent teleconference, I had another series of injections designed to determine if the next step in treatment would be advisable. The results of the second round of injections went much better than the first round and I was anxious to proceed with the next step. I have emailed the practice twice with no response. What I thought was a proposed and excellent alternative to surgery has gone on for two weeks with no follow up. The pain for which I was seen initially has not subsided and the proposed treatment should have been performed a week ago. They made a good first impression. Im disappointed in the follow thru.

The physician Was cordial. And communicative. So far the results have been pretty good.The back staff was supportive and helpful.The front office staff was friendly but matter-of-fact in attitude.It is one thing waiting for the physician But it is another thing when the front office staff can’t guesstimate how far behind he is so that the patient can make plans for the rest of the day., when questioned, they need to be more informative.My original problem began in late April. The first appointment I could make was a month away. Upon making that appointment and finding out that I needed radio frequency , The next appointment for the radio frequency was a month away. It took two months to get treatment and it will be at least another month until I am finished with treatment.That is a long time to wait from beginning to end.

Every visit the staff are so wonderful and very professional. Due to chronic pain I have visited very often and have never had any problems. If you’re looking for a pain management doctor check them out you will not be disappointed.

Doctor (JF) does not know how to read labs. He has not been practicing long. He is capable of writing prescriptions that would cause Stroke, Heart Attack, and/or death. PUBLIC: Be your own Advocate, Be careful, ask questions....The next pill you take maybe your LAST...

I’ve suffered with pain from auto accident in 1980. Upon transferring over to Blue Ridge Pain I’ve finally found procedures paired with medication to make my life manageable. More important I discovered other places had performed procedures on me that were targeting areas I didn’t need thus, finding no relief.

Life Changing!!! Dr Buzzanell and his staff have truly been a blessing. I was injured in the Military and spent months at the VA as well as months of physical therapy trying to help my quality of life with minimal results. I have been in Dr Buzzanells care for a couple of years now and his care and treatment have truly been life changing. I have been able to extend my military career as well as function day to day with almost no pain. Dr Buzzanell is unlike most pain management doctors I have met. He listens, he cares, and I believe he genuinely wants me to feel better. After an emergency cerebellum brain surgery, I was left with a terrible headache that I can not escape. Dr Buzzanell has been kind, persistent, and creative in his efforts to help me. Although I am not pain free yet, I am better than when I first met him, and more importantly, I have hope. I have been to many Pain Management Dr in my life. I suffer from chronic pain in my neck and back. I have chronic migraines and hemiplegic migraines. Dr. Buzz(Dr. Buzzanell) has been the only Pain management Dr. that has help me with all my pain problems. All the other Dr. had me on tons of narcotics . They never address the cause of the pain. Dr. B has me off all the narcotics now but one that I need. He and his wonderful staff has help me more than any other pain Dr. has before. My pain has been reduce by at least 45 %. My migraines has been better with his treatments. Yes I still have pain but nothing like it was before. You will not find a better staff than you will at Blue Ridge Pain Management. From the office staff to the PA David and Haley. Everyone is super nice and cares. If you want to be treated like you matter and with respect than you need to go to Blue Ridge Pain Management. My past experiences with pain management clinics/ doctors had left me feeling pretty much invisible. When they treat you like cattle being branded you lose all confidence in their ability to actually HELP you.Dr. Buzzanell has never treated me that way in the slightest. Right away he took a sincere approach to my situation and all that I had been through, which was quite a lot. He didnt rush me in the front door and out the back. The treatments we agreed to were very helpful. When I didnt get the best results with a treatment another procedure has been offered and I look forward to this next step. I have been receiving epidural injections since 2009. I had a work related injury. I have chronic pain in my lower back and leg. The first five years I received my injections in Ohio at the university of Toledo. It is one of Oho finest Learning hospitals. I received the procedure from the doctor that instructed the students. It was very stressful and very uncomfortable. I did not care for the procedure, but I had to receive them every three months. I moved to North Carolina in August 2014. I found Dr. Buzzanell In Asheville NC. at Blue ridge pain management . What a blessing that was! The way he preformed the procedure was comfortable and there was little stress .From the time the Doctor walk into room, he kept me in a conversation up to the procedure and during the procedure. Which lowed the stress level to a point where I have little stress. He does offer a blanket to cover with that helps too. He uses a hip cushion that make me fell comfortable when I am laying on the table .His procedure surpasses the ones in Ohio. I strongly recommend DR. Buzzanell to anyone that has pain with than their body. That you Dr. Buzzanell and your staff.

When I came to Dr. Buzzanell, I struggled to walk, stand, sleep, shower, and simply have a life. Within hours of my first treatment, I was finally able to sleep for the first time in years. I got to the office at the requested 30 minutes prior for paperwork purposes, of which was filled out in advance prior to my arrival, submtted said paperwork and waited in the lobby for over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I was shown to the examination room where I waited another 30 minutes and never once met the doctor. During my wait the staff of 5 was corralled in the office area seemingly doing very little. How is it remotely acceptable to have a customer wait for 2 hours and never make an attempt to see the patient? The office was clean and nice as well as the staff but what does it bring me if I have to wait for 2 hours and never see the doctor. I got up and left and will not be back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Buzzanell for over five years. He is treating me for the disabling side effects of Spinal Stenosis. His staff including the front office of Heather and Christine are friendly, pleasant and courteous. Extremely painful, Sacroidosis-induced spinal bone spur, sciatic nerve irritation, and bursitis in my hip. Dr. Buzzanell had an emergency prior to my appointment. We were there about an hour and a half before being seen. I normally would have been ok with that, but actually underlined all the many ways - especially being late or unprepared for an appointment - that were mentioned in the initial paperwork as grounds for dismissal from the practice. Too good an opportunity not to mention it when the doc came in. HOWEVER - when he actually came in to examine me and discuss my situation, he was extremely good. He seemed very much to know what he was doing. Even though he was running very late because of the prior emergency, he was patient, listened to me, asked relevant questions, and came up with a detailed plan to move forward. I was very impressed and look forward to working with him in the future.

I have been a patient at Blue Ridge Pain Management for around ten year. At the point that I had my first appointment I had given up on anyone believing what I was saying was wrong and helping me. From the first moment I met Dr Buzzanell, I knew that I had found a doctor that was listening to what I was saying and cared about what I had been going through for a few years. He has helped me to get back my life, and I often say to people that he saved my life. It is hard to live with chronic pain and have Drs not believe you or be told there is nothing they can do to help you. However Dr Buzzanell has formed a plan of treatment that I have stuck to and followed and has improved my quality of life and that of my time and attention to my family. You would be hard pressed to find a more caring and nurturing Dr. and staff in Western North Carolina. I am always made to feel welcome in the office when I come in and am seen by not only Dr. Buzzanell but his excellent staff of PAs and assistants. Thank you Dr. Buzzanell for being so good to all your patients and preforming procedures that have given me a quality of life I would not have without you and your staff.

He has helped me more than I thought was possible. He is very kind and does all he can to help you. The whole staff is great.

At last Ive found a doctor who takes the time to listen to me and thoroughly explains his treatment program.I now have hope thatmy chronic pain will can be significantly reduced.All other doctors rushed me,didnt listen, and provided questionableand ineffectual treatment.

Waited an hour and a half to see the Dr before giving up. The receptionist said that there is often a long wait. They do not value their patients.

If it were not for blue ridge pain management, friends of mine would not be able to have a fulfilling life.

I have been going to this office for a long time before here I was with a terrible place that didn’t even have an md on staff the pa was supervised by some mysterious dr in South Carolina this place was a godsend my life has changed so much for the better I have seen the new pa Haley for a while and I am very impressed with her knowledge and compassion I hope she stays and dr buzz is the best dr I have ever had

Dr. buzzanell seems empathetic and shows genuine concern for his patients care and comfort. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Buzzanell at Blue Pain Management and his staff are an example of what a Dr and staff should be everywhere. Dr. Buzzanell came into the office when it was closed to take care of me and get me out of pain during a trial I was doing. He truly cares about his patients and getting them out of pain. I honestly dont know what I would do if he and his staff wasnt taking care of me and my pain. I would highly recommend Blue Ridge Pain Management to anyone that suffers from pain or migraine headaches.

This place is amazing....I have suffer for many years with extreme pain from migraines and neck pain.I have been to several doctors and as usual I would start of my story of how bad I hurt (I couldnt take a shower without crying because of neck pain then leading into a severe migraine) Then as usual they would not listen to anything I had to say send me on my way with meds or shots that didnt work.Then God (thru a referral from another doctor) lead me to Dr. Buzzanell!Wow! what a difference!!! A doctor that listens to what I have to say about what is going on with my body!!! In 3 months I have undergone procedures with Dr. Buzzanell one was RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation).All procedures was worth going thru to get to where I am now....I actually have my life back. When I get up I actually feel good and can start out the day smiling instead of being in pain which makes me look like I am being tortured!The staff are friendly and so kind they really go the extra steps to help you and usually speak to Dr. Buzzanell right away if there is a problem or you need to ask a question. The medical assistants are there every step with you to help in anyway especially when you have just underwent a procedure. Dr. Buzzanell actually sits down and talks one on one with you as he is talking to you he takes his time and will also watch your facial expressions he can tell when you are in pain. Dr Buzzanell goes over and beyond the call of duty to help you in any and everyway possible. When you have had a procedure he doesnt just discharge you to go to another doctor; he still takes care of you to make sure you are still doing fine and while you are under his care you are a real person not just another patient. I seriously want to put zero stars. was given two ineffective nerve blocks, refused medication, and dropped as a patient before he even received the MRI his PA ordered. Oh, and he thinks hes funny with his joke he repeats about lidocaine saying bet you wont abuse that at home and laughing.

I have been seeing Dr Buzzanell for almost 2 years. My back got worse an worse. He also has a bit of a tude if you mention errors on his part.
