I came here to get a Balayage and I have brown hair so the process to get to blonde is a little harder but I’ve done it plenty times before and I’ve never gotten the color that I got from J brewer. She didn’t tone my hair, and left it a orange/yellow color, even when I went back for a second time to get it fixed. She also did no blending or connecting pieces and there was just a horizontal line across the back of my hair that went from brown to blonde. I even went back and nothing was changed. I have no idea what she did the whole time but it looked exactly the same, maybe just a little more yellow! I asked for a refund and the only thing they offered me was for the same girl to do my hair after she messed it up twice!!!! No way I was letting the same girl do it so now I have to pay even more to go to a better salon and get it fixed. The new salon I’m going to even told me that this place MESSED MY HAIR UP.

Angie did a cut a color and highlights and did my eyebrows. Best job I have had done in a very long time. She is my new hairdresser. Love this place.

Ive already said it once and Ill say it again I went into junior hairstylist which I was aware she was new at the job but she was going to have the advice of the older more experienced hairdressers I told her I want the highlights and then in preparation for a permanent I wanted I told her how I wanted my haircut well she refused the highlights mixed up some goop put it on my hair and it turned out all different colors and then she cut a bob and not even straight I had to get another hairdresser to straighten up the ends I walked out with a hairstyle that I never have worn it looked terrible I went back I do hope that they would fix it Ill make a long story short we agree to disagree but I did get my full refund back but I would never go there again

I love this place! I had horrible breakage not just small pieces but big chunks of my hair. I told the stylist what was going on and she blended my hair perfectly, you can’t even see my breakage. I’ve never been more happy. Going back soon to get my color fixed!

Catherine is my favorite stylist, but there are over ten other stylists to chose from, and I am confident each one is just as talented.

I have been a customer and friend of Jennifer Brewer for over 17 years. She is one of the most honest, sincere, loving, kind, intelligent, beautiful people you will ever meet. J. Brewer is definitely a 5 star salon. Its extremely clean and all of the girls are very friendly. Jennifer has high standards for her salon and the people who work with her. All of the girls are top notch and they are all great cosmetologists. Jennifer and her co-workers stay up-to-date on the latest hair styles/color, etc. and they can do whatever you request (within reason, of course). Their prices are competitive with other salons in our area and they go above and beyond to make sure customers are happy before they leave. Sherry and Elaine are the nail techs and they are wonderful as well.

Sign clearly said walk-ins welcome. I walked in, asked for service for eyebrows and hairline shape up and whomever I was speaking to (hair was wet) could’ve been a client but she asked “what are you needing done”? I repeated what I needed. She then turned to a lady (she is pictured in the photos) that was washing hair and asked her if someone was going to be in the next day. The lady (washing hair) was rude. She didn’t acknowledge that it was a questioned being asked for a potential client, she said “What? I don’t know!” So, I told the lady who tried to help me never mind. It was clear my business wasn’t wanted nor appreciated.
