Dr. Myung Sung helped me with my shoulder pain. I was suffering with pain for one and half years. I went to the doctor for the problem. I started Physical Therapy and went to a different Chiropractor with several treatment. I went to his chiropractor office twice and I am now pain free. I can move my arm with ease. It’s practically back to normal functioning. I also went to him for back pain and I don’t have back pain since then. I will go back to him again for my hip pain. I highly recommend him.

I’m writing on behalf of my dad. The first time my dad came here, he felt like the chiropractor was unfriendly and mean. My dad tried not to take this impression personally because he excused it as the chiropractor’s way of “helping” and that they might have had a bad day overall. Essentially, my dad gave him the benefit of the doubt by reminding himself that the chiropractor is just trying to do their job and he shouldn’t be offended by the lack of customer service. As time passed, my dad came back to the chiropractor due to some alignment issues with muscle aches (wanting to get cupping and needle treatment). Once again, my dad got the same chiropractor and was met with unfriendly and stern vibes. My dad tried to brush it off but the chiropractor was really rough on my dad, not giving him warnings before whatever treatment he was getting. In the end, my dad did not feel good out of that appointment and told the doctor that he feels extremely sore as if he tore something. After his appointment (a day later), his shoulder started getting sharp pains. It was so bad that my dad had to get a half day at work and couldn’t lift his right arm up all the way. Due to the misuse of the chiropractor’s practice, my dad has gotten an injury in result of it. While chiropractors may not necessarily solve all issues when it comes to body aches, tension relief and spine alignment, the fact that they were unfriendly, overcharged (charged over $80 even with insurance), talked very harshly, AND gave an injury, says a lot about their service. My dad will no longer come back to this place and we are writing this to warn future patients that you need to research on your local chiropractors! Don’t go to someone because you heard they are cheap. Make sure you do your research on what they specialize, what they can do to help you with, and how much it will cost.

The first time I visited Dr. Myung Sang I had recurring headaches for months that I could not get rid of. I recently re-located to Lakewood and didnt know who to go to and ended up visiting several acupuncturists in the surrounding area. Thank God I found Dr. Myung Sang! He not only got rid of my headache on the spot, I havent had any recurring since. (Almost 4 months now). Ive returned to him several times since then for various other issues, which always seem to evaporate after my treatments. He is also a licensed chiropractor, so in one visit I get adjusted, a 30 min Thai Massage and then my acupuncture. He also performs authentic cupping, which is an added touch to the treatment. I am currently getting weekly treatments for weight loss, started last week and Ive already lost 5 lbs. His office is friendly and extremely reasonably with the cost. If I were to get the same treatments anywhere else I would pay at least double, if not triple, what I pay with him.I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Myung Sang for your acupuncture needs.Kim CalderLakewood, CA.
