Patricia Rivers AKA Pat Rivers AKA Ms. Rivers is the Division Chief here. I was dealing with her through the job interview process. She is kind of nice, but then never gets back to you. She never wants to put anything in writing. She always calls and says call me back. I really felt hurt and disappointed through the job interview process with her. Going to call in tomorrow and inform HR of the same. She always told me that HR had to make the decision, but funny enough I never ever heard from HR. Then when I asked to speak with HR, she said, deal with me. This was such a disappointing and hurtful process. The process needs to be corrected and some critical staff changes need to be made. So sad, before this I had some much respect for Arlington Co having used their services.

The Mental Health Department is great! You see people that care. The Psychiatry Department, I guess it all depends who you work with. I have worked with genuine people who take the time to listen and who are compassionate, empathetic... then some who are not.The Benefits Division is good, but you have to know exactly what you want. I have been in situations where I was trying to ask if they had certain programs, or if they can help with certain situation; just to be looked at with blank or confused stares, or told they have no idea what I am talking about. Later, I would learn they did have programs that couldve been beneficial to me.The Family Services Division is scary. There is a mixture of social workers, some great and understanding and others who are judgemental and biased. I would be extremely cautious in working with this department.

The Arlington County of Virginia provides a variety of services. The place has a kind and compassionate staff. They offer mental health services, housing, also a clinic to test patients with any problematic condition.

I had to give them 1 star but I couldnt comment unless I did. The country needs to do something about its employees working here (In all departments ) and take appropriate action.

Reverse racism seems prevalent in a lot of what I encounter. While polite enough, also felt singled out because of lack of colour like its for us, not you, by staff and visitors, one guy seemingly getting in my way on purpose multiple times when I had no reason to interact with him at all, like Im in charge here, kind of bully on the block gang like while security steps up to ask what Im there for even before warmed up a bit, enjoying the blowers at entrance after over an hour walking there in the cold, given transit discriminated similarly, and outright attacks other times. Ymmv

Staff is always great and very friendly. They always have you ready for every appointment. Totally recommended.

I use the employment center to make copies, and check my emails. But has all that you need, if youre in need!

A very helpful place to go if you need any type of assistance financially or mentally I suggest anyone that lives in Arlington County to go there and reference to getting any help assistance needed they do help

I have question for human right services. So my mom keep calling police and emergency and taking me to emergency. The reason is she thinks Im sick mentally, and making me take medication. To be honest doctors give me diagnost by hearing my mom. I have 4 kind of mental illness already. Do you think one person can be so many mental illeness? Shes hurting my right. Her names is Dilida Rexiding. She called police yesterday just because I denied to take medicine. Im a normal person, shes making me upset. As a big human right in USA can you please help me. Im afraid she will do something else to me. Im afraid she will send me to mentalhealth hospital again. Im scare of her. Thank you so much, really appreciate it.

A terrible place. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. As an intern, I was “let go” for no actual reason as a student in 2015. The staff and experience was so awful, I actually needed a therapist to get over it. It’s funny, I was let go as an intern, but I am now currently a Director of Social Services with my LMSW in the state Maryland, working in a Nursing Home/LTC/STC Rehab. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
