I went to another dental office and they asked me to do 2 fillings to avoid cavity. However, at Gentle Dental Arlington, the doctor checked and told me its not yet a cavity because its not sticky. Its like a stain and tell me I need no drilling/filling at the moment. They will continue to monitor and watch in my subsequent visits. I like the friendliness, honest and professionalism of the place.

Gentle Dental took amazing care of me. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was quick and efficient. They helped me try to schedule my appointments to best utilize my insurance the best, and I am very thankful!

They were amazing! I needed work done and and not only did they do it quickly, but they found a doctor to begin the treatment as soon as they could.

Gentle dental convinced me to get numerous fillings and X-rays that my now dentist has informed me we’re unnecessary. They also convinced me that I had multiples cavities “on watch” that my current dentist is very unconcerned about. I consider my current dentist a reliable source as she teaches a lot of future dental students.

Everyone there is very nice. I hadnt been to a dentist in years and was nervous about the state of my teeth, and while I had multiple cavities they werent judgmental at all and didnt make me feel like it was all my fault. When I got my fillings it was quick and I didnt feel a thing. During the regular cleaning I didnt feel like they were haphazardly accidentally scraping or stabbing my gums like Ive experienced at dentists in the past. Being able to request my appointment online rather than over the phone was a nice plus too

Staff members always friendly and helpful. Hygienist is gentle and informative as well as the dentists. I had to have my wisdom teeth out as an older adult and had a caring experience with that. I highly recommend this office.

I never thought I would have such a wonderful time at the dentists office. The staff are warm and inviting while very professional. This place is well maintained and the CDC guidelines are in place. I felt very safe while I was taken care of. Upon arrival you are greeted by the lovely receptionist and dental assistant Amanda and Gabby. I was fortunate enough to have Roxane as my dentist. All ladies are professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Gentle Dental Arlington for anyone needing dental work. I had both a root canal and two crowns (Dr. Saviano was the endodontist for the root canal and Dr. Eshaghi was the dentist taking care of the crowns). The procedures worked smoothly and very professionally. My dental issues are now solved! Their prices are competitive and the staff and dental assistants are so helpful and friendly. I had such high hopes for Gentle Dental. Their variety of locations and straight-forwarded services made me think I found my new go-to dental office. The receptionists are incredibly friendly and my hygienist was so caring during my x-rays and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time.However, the issue comes down to my dentist. I was berated about my bad dental hygiene for 20 minutes without once taking a look at my health records or asking me about it for that matter: chronic immune disease (that causes my stomach acid to damage my mouth and esophagus, which has damaged my teeth) and a horrible orthodontist that ripped off layers of my enamel when I was younger and didnt have enough dental coverage to fix.In an environment that was supposed to make me feel calm and relaxed, my dentist immediately made me feel small. I come from a background with a lot of health disorders and I just cant trust a practice that acts this way towards its patients.You might have a good experience here if you dont need a lot of work here. Im frankly disappointed and really wished my dentist had more empathy.

His expertise and relaxation strategies were exactly what I needed to help me through the ever increasingly daunting cleanings that plague my middle age oral health challenges and subsequent anxiety. His kindness, gentle demeanor, and sincere empathy eased my anxiety and fear. I can’t say enough about how amazing he and the staff are at Gentle Dental in Arlington.

Got emergency work done first and that was fine, but then when I got the initial cleaning and treatment plan package all I got was told I didnt work enough during the cleaning, and then the doc accused me of doing meth and told me to get community help. Never actually got a treatment plan outlining what I needed done and left feeling the worst Ive felt in a while. I know my teeth are messed up, thats why I went, didnt need to be accused of doing hard drugs, thanks for that doc.

The doctors at this practice are OK, however the billing department is not gentle at all. They failed to give me a correct estimate with the insurance, and a few months after my visit sent me a bill with no explanation whatsoever (like just a random number), and it took me many days to get them to explain and change this bill. In other words, the billing at this company is very non transparent at all. Not gentle. In addition, there appears to be a great miscommunication between the billing department, the reception, and the medical staff. Several weeks after the so-called resolution of my billing issue (in which I still overpaid completely unfairly), and me telling them I would never go to their clinic again, I got a call from Gentle Dental saying can you come on Tuesday to start on your crown?. Like really?? This crown was never on my treatment plan, by the way, and I never heard about it before.The bottom line: I would not recommend trusting your teeth or your finances to this company, as they might mess up both.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. A friend referred me to Gentle Dental which has a very convenient location in downtown Arlington. I was fortunate to be able to schedule back-to-back new patient x-rays, a dental exam, and a teeth cleaning in the same day. All of the staff are very warm, personable, and professional. MJ, in particular, was super funny and helped me laugh my way through a teeth cleaning. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend this office.

I was worried about going to the dentist with the pandemic but everyone wears masks and they screened me before my appointment and when I came in. I had two wisdom teeth and another tooth taken out and it was honestly the best experience I could have hoped for. I have a low pain tolerance but I could barely feel a thing (asides from pressure, no pain) during the procedure and I was only under local anesthesia. Everyone there was really nice, calm, let me take breaks if I needed to and it was just an overall good experience for what needed to be done. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this Gentle Dental, especially if you need oral surgery.

I was waiting with my son in the car across the street, and told her to forget about the toothpaste and we would discuss it later. In all, we left the practice almost 30 minutes after the end of her scheduled appointment.Gentle Dental has been good in the past, but theyve lost our business over a tube of toothpaste. There are lots of alternatives in Arlington, hopefully we can find one we can mutually trust.

I started going to Gentle Dental in Arlington because my daughter there is the manager. I have had the best experience for my cleanings, all of their hygienist are wonderful. Dr Alikpala is my doctor, she is not only a great dentist, but has a great personality as well. I live in NH and will continue to make the long drive to see this wonderful staff.

Wow, I don’t even know where to start the list. After more than 8 years of going to this place and Being a valued costumer trying to support local businesses, I came to the point of letting all out. I had good experiences, and yes, some dentist and assistants make mistakes, we are human. But this last one, I’m not gonna let go. The called Manager Michelle, was a rude woman when my wife confused her appointment (a crown being replaced for a temporary) and was less than 15 minutes after the original. We were a minute away from gentle dental and she told my wife the doctor couldn’t receive her anymore( I do valued the doctor’s time) and was rude saying she made her waste her time and had to be charged $100 fee(which we never signed an agreement ) and most dentist places are decent to charge $25. As a good manager, trying not to loose 2 value costumers, she would’ve been more professional and suggest better options. Never going back here.

Worst dentist experience, the director kicked me out half way through the cleaning, because I told them that I had symptoms of Covid 19, over 3 months ago. I told them about it over the phone, when I arrived and when I saw the doctor, to make them aware. Of course I didnt have any symptoms since then and was taking all the cautions. Then they asked me not to go to my next appointment, wait for 3 weeks and comeback with a test for the virus. Then they sent me a bill including the complete cleaning they didnt finish and the exam for the treatment that they denied me.

I left my appointment in a great mood and high spirits. Why? Because of MJ the hygienist. As someone who has been taking COVID-19 very seriously, I was a little on edge. MJ clearly takes all the proper safety precautions. Not only that, he is just such a warm and awesome person. Look, it’s the dentist. Not very fun for most of us. I barely noticed what was happening because he kept my mind off the cleaning chatting with me like we were old friends. 10/10 would definitely recommend Gentle Dental Arlington and MJ.

Everyone from the front desk staff to the hygienist and assistants and Dr. Alikpala were helpful, friendly and Gentle. This last part was especially important for someone like me who normally is petrified of going to the dentist. They made it easy and painless.

I have been having great experience at Gental Dental. I usually have lots of complicated dental issues so I switched many dental offices until I started coming here. My dentist (Dr. Alikpala) is really responsible and knowledgeable. She explains everything very clearly and makes sure I am comfortable and happy. Dentist and the staff are really friendly and always trying to help me save cost but make a right decision. I totally recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a trustworthy dentist!

Went today for my first appointment and have already scheduled my next cleaning with the same hygienist Tracy! The facility was clean and the staff were all extremely upbeat and knowledgeable. They explained everything, plus you can follow along with a monitor at your chair as they input your information. Their philosophy is also very conservative and I trust their care and treatment recommendations.

Dr. Alikpala is caring and knowledgeable. She always makes sure I’m comfortable. She thoroughly explains the procedure and makes sure I don’t have any questions. She takes the time to show you pictures of your teeth and why she recommends a certain procedure. The office staff is friendly and even with a simple little filling, I will get a call later that day to make sure I’m okay. Dr. Alikpala and her team at Gentle Dental Arlington are fantastic.

My husband was there on business from Illinois, and had a bad tooth problem. I called and told them what the issue was and they seen and fixed my husbands filling the next day. I talked to Michelle who was very pleasant and wanted to get him in that day, but it didnt fit his schedule so the next day worked out great. He was very pleased with the work and the staff.

I chipped a front tooth on December 23rd. I called on December 24th and they took me in at 9 a.m. and fixed my tooth. I have been going there for a long time and in the past there was a lot of turn over by the dentist. Dr Alik Pala has stabilized the office and I wont say it is pleasant to go to the dentist but if you have to the dentist Gentle Dental of Arlington is the office to go to.

Amanda, Giovanna, Nichole and Michelle all go out of their way in the front office to make you feel welcome and they do an amazing job of explaining everything you need to know about your appointments, bills or insurance. They go so far above and beyond that I get multiple reminders for my upcoming appointments (texts, emails and phone calls)The dental assistants are wonderful as well, Trey and Glenny were both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when I had questions about my root canal and crown placement.In a short stretch of time (6 weeks or so) I have had appointments with the endodontist (Dr. Saviano), oral surgeon (Dr. Klimashov) and my favorite dentist of all time (Dr. Alikpala) at this location and all three have been kind, professional and above all else caring. Amazingly enough, I also havent had one bit of pain during any of the procedures. At the slightest bit of discomfort they will happily stop and relieve it before moving any further. Their primary concern is that you feel comfortable.With so many run of the mill or outright bad doctors and dentists in the area its nice to have found a group that actually seems to care about the well being of their patients and not just how deep their pockets are.

I got my cavity filled with ceramic fillings on November. The fillings were weak and I developed sensitivity.I made an appointment with the periodontist, came into the office, waited for over an hour and the staff told me that the doctor wasnt even there and was asked to make another appointment.Several occasion I made a phone call and no one picked up. Never replied to voicemail and there is this one time I got a message from the machine that the voicemail was FULL!Lastly, if you notice, the Google map guided to the wrong location. I notified this issue to the receptionist and what reply did I got? Ignored! Very disrespectful and ignorant.

Came here for an emergency situation and needed a consultation. The experience there was actually not terrible. They were friendly and able to get me in quickly which at the time was my only concern. The problems came after. I wanted to get my procedure done with them because now I was in the system so it would just be easier not to go anywhere else, But I wanted my dentist back home who had done some fillings recently on this tooth that now needed a root canal to look at the x-ray of the work he had done so he could explain to me why this wasnt caught sooner/ what he thought. So I emailed asking for the x-ray to be sent and they send back a comprehensive record release saying they own the originals but can give you copies and a fee may happen. A fee? It is an email! I am really concerned now because I was just going to get the work done there but now I am doubting it if this is how service will be.

I have had some of the worst dental care experiences in the past at the age of 51. Those experiences were so bad, that I stopped getting dental care.Recently, I had issues with my teeth. Serious issues resulting in an extraction of a bottom molar; a root canal and a couple of fillings.Gentle Dental took care of those issues ... none of them were pleasant, but, I cannot think of how they could not have been better [unless I was sedated].Recently, I got a cleaning. And that was the best, most gentle, cleaning, I can ever recall.I plan to go back to this practice for the rest of my life; that said, a prescribed Valium would be nice before each appointment.

Went in this past Friday due to emergency wisdom tooth pain. Was given an appointment for today to get them extracted. Called Saturday about the pain keeping me up and got told to call back Monday. Called Monday and wasnt given any help except being told theres a charge on my account and they cant tell me why. FINALLY got a call today, just a few hours before my scheduled appointment and get told that unless I have almost $300 they will not pull the INFECTED tooth from my mouth. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CARE I RECIEVED FROM THEM. Was also hung up on multiple times by all of the people working there. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PRACTICE!

Let me just start by saying I am so used to writing negative reviews about restaurants and hotels that I dont even know how to begin to write a good one anymore. I just got back from my latest appointment at Gentle Dental in Arlington and I am so happy with my dentists, the staff and most importantly, my new smile, that I felt it warranted a positive review.Ive been so ashamed of my smile my entire life that I have spent thousands of of dollars trying to improve it elsewhere. I really wish that I had found this place years ago because what they accomplished in such a short period of time at such affordable, well-explained rates is unbelievable. I had some pretty extensive work done there and Im not just talking about a cleaning with a free toothbrush and a sticker. I have had root canals, extractions and implants (oh my!), followed by adult braces to complete my movie star smile, lol.Not once did it feel like I was being up-sold or sales pitched, like I have experienced at other offices. They say that having an honest mechanic is worth its weight in gold, well I feel that now holds true to dentists too. I am so proud of my new smile that I can barely wipe it off my face, which for the most part is good but I probably look like a crazy person to others!

Very positive experience with Dr. Alikpala. This is my third time seeing Dr. Alikpala. She consistently delivers high quality dental services. Her friendly, yet professional demeanor, leaves you at ease from your initial hello. Additionally, she utilizes her extensive knowledge and takes her time to listen and answer her clients questions. I had three fillings and Dr. Alikpala finished so quickly that I was shocked when she said I was all set. Left my teeth feeling great with no pain from start to end. (even received a follow up call the next morning to ensure I was feeling okay) She takes great pride in her clients and I will be sure to recommend Dr. Alikpala at Gentle Dental to friends and family.

Ive always been scared of the dentist, as many people are. But one day My tooth was in so much pain, that I had to find a dentist! I took a recommendation of a friend to go see Dr Pivor at the Gentle Dental of Arlington. Dr. Pivor took the time to explain to me everything about the treatments and what should I expect from start to finish. He made everything so easy and painless. The staff is really great too. They are always happy to help. Im very glad that I went there.

Absolut scam! My bf went for a filling and didnt get it instead they tried to sell him thousands of dollars worth of completely unneccasry treatment. Then he went for cleaning, except he came out looking exactly the same. All the coffee stains still there and on top of it they tried to sell him over 800dollar deep cleaning. How do they expect one would throw more money at them when they cant even deliver what they have already been payed for? I used to work for a dentist, its hard to sell me bs.

I have been seeing Dr. Pivor for the last 10 months to have major dental work performed on my mouth. I had extensive bridgework and other repairs done to my teeth. I am somewhat dental phobic so an undertaking like this was a big deal to me. I have been nothing but impressed with Dr. Pivor and the whole office. From the very beginning consultation which he arranged to have on a Saturday at the end of the day with me and my parents, he was informative, direct, non-judgmental, and accommodating. Theres been minimal pain throughout the whole process (and I needed a LOT of work). The hygienists, assistants and front office staff have all been friendly and lovely to deal with. I no longer have the fear that plagued me to go to the dentist for a long time. I highly recommend them.

I am very happy with both Dr. Pivor , he is a great dentist.I m also very pleased with the lovely dental hygienists that help with my oral hygiene.In addition, the office staff is lovely, very professional and friendly. Thay are always willing to look up my insurance particulars and I love that you get the multiple reminders before the next appointent. My whole family comes here and we are all very happy!

No one enjoys a root canal, but this was as close as it comes.Thanks.

After enduring severe neck pain and loss of mobility for over 9 months, trying everything: chiropractic, acupuncture, and physical therapy, Dr. Pivor changed my life with a little botox. Evidently the botox relaxes the knot where he injects it. This treatment is very direct and immediate. There are no after-effects except feeling better. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.
