It was taking several days for my insurance to authorize one of my prescriptions so the owner just gave it to me and said I could settle up when the insurance got back with their response! Youre NOT going to get that type of customer service at a big pharmacy! The staff is super friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Initially, we really liked this place, but eventually we had to leave because of one persons disrespectful attitude. Every single other person in the pharmacy was a pleasure to interact with, except for this one woman. She was simply a disgrace to customer service. Its a real shame, as the store is clean and beautiful, with lots of interesting brick-a-brac on display and for sale. The store has a very down-home and old-world quality to it and the atmosphere is (or rather was) comfortable and friendly. It just goes to show how disruptive to a business one person can truly be.

We have been serviced by Warren and his staff for over 15 years. They provide excellent service, and personal service. They go out of their way to look out for you, not just hand out drugs! I have had some significant medical issues that with their help I have been able to over come. A great pharmacist is as important as a good Dr. Warren & his staff are GREAT!

The staff at Consumer is exceptional. When my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 8 months old, Warren and his staff, took the time to help me learn to take care of her. Whenever I had a question, a concern, or confused about medications, I know I can call Consumer and ask my question ANYTIME. I refuse to go any where else. Outstanding customer service!

Walgreens told me that my Voltaren gel only comes in the generic now, and its not covered by my insurance. I switched to Hometown, and now theres a $0 co-pay! Its free at Hometown, and who knows how much Walgreens wouldve charged me! Thanks Hometown!

I have been going to this pharmacy for some time now. Since the first time I went here they have upheld top quality customer service. Employees are friendly and very understanding. I have never had a better pharmacy to get my prescriptions without the harassments from amateur pharmacists at Walgreen’s, Walmart, or CVS. I’m talking about when I injured my back at work and the doctor prescribed me a month’s worth of Oxycodone. I have heard about how bad they can be and only wanted enough for 3 days and they harass you like you’re a drug addict living on the streets. At hometown pharmacy they will give you advise and warn you about these types of drugs some doctors prescribe without giving it a second thought. The prices are way more reasonable as well unlike other pharmacy’s who overcharge you to the point that I would say they are the drug dealers. They wanted $800 for epilepsy medication which is insane and yeah, I had no Medicare at the time but at hometown pharmacy the exact same medication they charge me $70 without insurance. Trust me you will not regret going here instead of other overrated pharmacies claiming they care for their customers and charge a fair price.
