My son has breathing issues due to being on the autism spectrum. It wasn’t fixed with regular asthma meds. Dr. Patel was super thorough, running several tests to insure that he was treated properly. His yearly follow up appointment went smoothly. We were treated very well and in and out in a timely fashion.

I made a complaint because a doctor there failed to inform me of an area on a PET scan that lit up (which is a HUGE deal!) And they then called me saying they couldnt see me anymore because my case was too complex. When I asked what was so complex, they said they misspoke and it was a breakdown in the patient/provider relationship. I then said I had not seen the doctor in months so why are they calling now saying that. Then the excuse was I missed a previous appointment. I cancelled that 4 days ahead of time. I asked what the policy was and they said 24 hours. When I pointed out my appointment was cancelled 4 days earlier, they then had nothing to say. If you go here, I hope everything goes great for you because if you make a complaint you will get dropped as a patient. I have the conversations recorded so they really cant dispute anything Im saying. Just filed a complaint with the department of safety and professional services.

Dr. Nonn is one of the best healthcare professionals that I have seen. He was so supportive, friendly, personable, informative, and made me feel like he truly cares about my overall health and well being and not like a number. He took the time to explain the results of my sleep study, what may be contributing to my condition, and his settings recommendation for the cpap was spot on and immediately provided results.

Simply tried returning a phone call that I missed 30 seconds after receiving a voicemail. If you hit option 0, you will be automatically put to voicemail. The only way to speak with someone there is to wait the full 90 seconds through every option to then finally be connected with the next available rep. I finally reached someone and was immediately asked to be put on hold. They never came back. Waited for nearly 7 minutes and they never came back on. If I can’t get a hold of anyone to get a few quick questions answered and a prescription refilled then I really don’t think I can remain a patient here, or recommend them. And based on the other reviews, it looks like a frequent issue.

Very rude receptionist that was very biased against gay couples and didn’t allow me and my husband into the appointment together but allowed straight couples to walk in together as well as rudely telling me to wait outside the building. She also had no name as we could not identify her and instead of enforcing corrective action on the employee after making a report decided to dismiss us from Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine.

Money and time wasted with Scott Parrish and staff. If you have breathing difficulties and they cant find them, they will just tell you that you have anxiety. Zero contact between other healthcare professionals I was working with at this healthcare facility nor on their end back to Dr. Parrish either.Just an all-around horrible experience with these people and I was left feeling worse after with none of my health issues resolved. They even went as far as getting snarky with me at the end when I politely explained my situation to them for the 5th time (while I was ready to end it all because of my physical breathing condition that they couldnt resolve or didnt care enough to resolve) at which point they decided the best way to handle a patient in distress was to just cut them entirely off and not make further contact.Im a reasonable person, respectful, professional, and treat others as Id like to be treated myself. This place treated me like a undesirable.

15 minute consult with a NP or PA is almost $600, find a cheaper option. No tests, just a consult, price gouging at its best

Dr. Whiteside is one of our family physicians. He is an awesome doctor, very intelligent, humble, listens to his patients. He saved the life of someone I know. He is a humanitarian and genuinely cares about all of his patients. He is a hard act to follow. His nurse is awesome as well. We consider it a privilege to be under the care of this outstanding compassionate physician.

Definitely agree with the other reviews on the office staff, I dont recall ever talking with anyone in the medical field as rude as they are. Not only that but they use their answer service all the time. So you get to leave a message to have the actually office call back then when they do you get to leave a message with them for the doctor and then 2 weeks later get a response. Good stuff 🤔

This clinic has more interest in making money than doing the right thing for patients. Unlike all clinics that Ive been in they would verify with insurance how much the treatment is covered and what patients expect to pay so patients can make informed decision. This place never said anything regarding that matter. They sent me an sleep test equipment and later a bill of over $500. I called my insurance and it said the clinic should have conferred with health insurance first. I made attempt to work the clinic to see we can compromise the bill but they had no interest in doing the right thing. This practice is affiliated with ThedaCare. It can learn to do the right things for patients from Aurora.

My dad had a cardiology test at another facility in the morning, and a pulmonary appointment in the afternoon at Fox Valley Pulmonary. After his morning test, the cardiologists office called and wanted to see him right away that afternoon. Turns out he had a serious heart condition. He called Fox Valley Pulmonary to cancel his appointment, and they were very snide, saying you should have cancelled before now and wouldnt let him explain. They said now youll have to wait until September. Okay, youre booked way out and thats not your fault, but its unnecessary to be so rude.My dad is now in the ICU recovering from two collapsed lungs after open heart surgery. He will not be getting his follow-up care at Fox Valley Pulmonary.

I have seen Dr Scott Parrish at this clinic, cant say enough about him, got down to the root of my breathing and coughing problem. Turns out I have severe acid reflux and my airways want to collapse when I sleep. Thus part of my treatment is an apap machine, different than a cpap machine. Had a follow up with Cynthia Wecker, Nurse Practitioner, but missed the appointment because I got sick and thought my appointment was the next day, Friday. Thursday afternoon, I got called from their office and re-scheduled. Today I get a letter that says I must pay a $50 fee before I can see her, a penalty for not cancelling my appointment with 24 hour notice. I was never late before, missed an appointment and yet this is how they treat their patients. I am a tax accountant, business owner, and I would never do that to a client without who had been ill for a few days and accidentally missed their appointment. Well, that is too bad, as I will not be going back and I will not even recommend Dr Parrish and Fox Valley Pulmonary to anyone. If this is how they treat their patients, I wonder just how good the patient care overall is.
