I have never been to this Dr . But read all the bad reviews! 👎 About not returning Phone calls and messages! Also that his Wife works at the front desk and is very rude and nasty to people!! Sorry Dr. Bernales. To many bad reviews! Need to look elsewhere for another Dr.

Great Doctor!. Hes the kind of doctor that you would have had back in the sixties that would come to visit you at home and has excellent bedside manner. He explains things in laymans terms gives you options.

My mother has been seen by Dr Bernal for the past three years. Doctor himself is very nice and explains results accurately. The main problem is the front office. The lady will not answer the phones, will not answer any messages. If confronted about situation she will say that she doesnt receive messages and phone calls. The doctor will defend her and will not take any actions. Dr. Bernal would be better off with a different person in the front office but unfortunately it is his wife. Look for a different neurologist at the moment

If I could score zero stars I would. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Bernales for over three years. For the past 6-9 months the front desk has been incredibly difficult to get a hold of: no answer, left messages and no one returns the call. Finally I decided to call Heritage Medical Group to get help in making an appointment for my mother. Dr. Bernales had the nerve to take my decision to call the medical group personal rather than admit and address the issue with his reception desk. He took the time to take my phone call to tell me my mother missed three appointments that we werent even made aware of. All along the time my mother supposedly missed three appointments, weve been calling and leaving messages to try to get an appointment for my mother to see him. If that isnt a problem with his reception desk along with a lack of professionalism and downright carelessness about his patients well-being, I dont know what else you can call it. He made the decision that we should find another Neurologist which was our intention to do so anyway. Dr. Bernales filled my mothers medication to get through the time we need to find her a new doctor. Thank you for the Rx refill Dr. Bernales, but shame on you for the way you are handling this ongoing problem with your reception desk. I worked in medical clinics for 15 years and the worst medical offices were those where the doctors wife is involved in the day to day operations.

Had an appointment to see Dr Bernales and he send me to Dr Sarah, for pain management, and I had no problem, but when I had to do back to see Dr Bernales, melenody gave me a hard time she said i have to schedule you in January and this was in October that I had gone to see Dr Bernales, she said I had to go get my MRI and I went at that time, went back and the office was closed and it was not closing time yet,... I would call and no answer, dr Bernales is a good dr, ..Melenody in the office is loosing business for Dr Bernales ... I cant get in because of her she is not a people person

Been calling for a week no one ever answer the phone for a apptment...

Best Dr up here so far. He really cares and listens to my concerns and questions. Wish all Drs were like him

Gentle Doctor, explained the procedure and through the procedure always asked if I was ok. I really liked him as a person as well

Extremely disappointed. He didn’t care to explain anything and only said why did I go to him if there were doctors in Lancaster or Palmdale. Didn’t even bother to do a check on my back nor to explain the results of the MRI. Was really quick to refer me to another Dr. Very frustrating since I am the one with the pain and waited two months for nothing. -5 rating

I am looking for a good Neurologist for me, but I have read the comments and I was disappointedToo bad its close to my houseIll keep looking.
