Five stars is several thousand too few for Dr. Thomas!!! Ive been her patient for approximately 20 years and my husband has seen her for 14 years. She is thorough, caring, positive, thoughtful, wise, and one of the biggest blessings in our lives! Insurance and scheduling problems are part of the medical experience, unfortunately. While I have not experienced any problems myself, I am aware issues arise. However, these issues do not interfere with the doctors care and her staff is excellent at solving problems. Be assured, if you choose to work with your body to heal itself through intentional, individualized therapies, Dr. Cynthia Thomas will not disappoint!

Dr. Cynthia is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors up here in the high desert. She is very thorough in her testing and giving the needed information to specialists. Highly professional and very compassionate. That is very hard to come by up here. She works well with the elderly too.

One of the only doctors that actually listens and cares in this high desert. I will not go to anyone else. To her you are not just a number or money, you are a person. Her heart is one that loves. And she thinks outside the box, not just prescribing pills for everything. Best doctor up here.

Im finding it hard to believe that Dr. Thomas doesnt yet have a review on here. She comes very highly recommended by many folks, which is how I found her. I was used to the typical doctor who wanted to prescribe medication any time anything was awry. I always had a thirst to understand the why and how and Dr. Thomas always helps me understand the many symptoms that weve been treated by her for. Shes a DO so shes not as quick to prescribe medication, which is a breath of fresh air. Osteopathic physicians, or DOs, can also use traditional treatments, as they are licensed to prescribe medication, practice medicine, and perform surgery. Osteopathic treatment typically includes complementary and alternative types of treatment because DOs take a whole-body approach to healing. They emphasis preventative treatment, and are specifically trained in treating issues involving the musculoskeletal system. Instead of quickly operating or prescribing, Dr. Thomas has other tricks up her sleeve like more natural remedies including cranial osteopathy, myofascial release, high velocity-low amplitude treatment, and muscle energy treatment. Ive seen her for these other types of treatments and her magic touch always amazes me. The one Ive seen her for in the past is for sinus problems that always seemed to plague me before going to see her. Now, I get the occasional sickness, but I dont have an ongoing issue anymore. I trust her to see any of my family, and another thing thats great about her is that shes focused on family practice, and I can setup back to back appointments for my children and myself. We are seen all in one visit instead of multiple trips to the office.Her staff is superb. On your first visit, theyll introduce themselves by name, almost as if they are welcoming you into their family. They tell you how to get in touch with them, and always offer a helping hand be it in person, or over the phone. They always remember your face and name, and when in that office, you are NEVER rushed. Cynthia Thomas is a force to be reckoned with, amidst the sea of medical sameness, and somewhat insufficient doctors in the desert. Heads up, your first appointment will probably be pretty far out due to existing patient priority. I suggest scheduling now, and going in for an annual physical for your first appointment. Then, youll be in the system ready to go when you get ill next. I highly recommend this office to anyone.

If I could give less than one star I would. I waited three months to see this doc as a new/potential patient. They took down all my insurance information when the appointment was made. I walked in today for the appointment, and before I even signed in, was told that they dont accept my (PPO) insurance.Horrible customer service.
