I can not express how unheard I was in this appointment. I couldn’t even completely get out the symptoms I was having without being cut off. The doctor brought in two other shadowers with her without even asking if I was okay with it. I was was asked questions that she should have already know if she looked at my chart. Contradicted herself many times. I felt like a was on exam for all 3 to stare to again be told so many things without any explanation to why I was having those issues mumbled things again basically told me to cut out foods I had already been cutting out. I could barley understand the doctor. Disgusted with the treatment. I cried immediately getting back to my car. After seeing the mostly positive reviews unless it was on other websites that I now learned have negative review. But over all on google reviews thought seeing mostly positive ones that I would be in good hands but it was quite the opposite. I never write negative reviews but this one had me so upset. I am a in the medical field as well and no way have I been so discredited. I know realize why so many people travel out of the desert to get proper medical treatment and or completely cut out modern medicine all together.

Dr.Cox and staff have been very friendly and courteous. I have had a lot of surgeries done and a lot yet to be done. A lot on my face , neck and arms. Dr Cox tries to minimize the scaring as much as possible. And will try other procedures before having to cut on me.As a women this means a great deal to meAs i am very self conscious about all the areas I have. I have been to other dermatologists, that just wanted to cut everything. I could not ask for a better and caring Dr. Than Dr. Cox. Will reccomend him to everyone.

Jonathan Cox and the Apple Valley staff are awesome! Theyve done preemptive skin care to some sun damaged areas and prescribed ointment that has successfully reduced breakouts. Im able to use the time that I used to spend scratching for more productive tasks.

I show up to my appointment only to be told that my insurance group was changed & they dont take that insurance Group. Wow, a call would have been great yet supposedly they called & left a message. I have no missed call or message, but yet I have a text message confirming my appointment.

Its always a pleasure going in for my appointments.The nurses are always nice and helpful and the doctors are too😊I highly recommend

By far the best dermatology office in the High Dessert. Dr. Jonathan Cox is so amazing. I am his first patient to have pemphigus Vulgaris, he has gone above and beyond to keep me comfortable. I can’t appreciate him enough for all the time and effort he’s put into me and my condition. I highly HIGHLY recommend this office, always friendly, always on point with everything!

The front staff is rude. Which is why the 4 star rating. However when you make it past that... The dr’s themselves are the most! They care. They are completely the opposite of the front. Which is odd, because that is the FACE of your company right? First impressions are sometimes your last. More training for the front. A thankful for the hard work in the back...

I am very pleased with Pacific Dermatology. I believe my issues were clearly understood and dealt with. I was given clear answers to my questions, as well as information sheets about my medications and medical issues to take home and read. This was my first visit. Everyone I interacted with was polite and respectful.

I have been going to Pacific Dermatology for over 2 years to have various treatments done. Their office is very clean and their office staff and doctors are very knowledgeable about your treatments. However, it is hard to get an appointment and you have to wait several weeks to see the same specialist.

Even though the office was crowded, I didnt have to wait long. I saw the PA Irena. She was very efficient and thorough and explained each step of the procedures to me.

I like the set up and all. However, I did feel rushed and I felt like I was not able to get all the questions I needed answered. I understand a doctor knows their information but I feel as though the patients concerns should be addressed too. I left anxious but hopeful I guess.

At first, I liked the medical care I was given. But then it went downhill from there. Maybe its a quirk I have, but I dont like to be so flippantly treated for skin cancer. Long story short, I wont go back.

I was referred by my Doctor to go there so I did only to walk in from the waiting room to be told we cant help you because it to soon from your last surgery, I went in the room 5 minutes and they still charge me. after all that two months later I was sent a letter they were charging me another $5 lets see how much more there keep trying

Both my husband and I are patients of Pacific Dermatology. My husband had a very large skin cancer on his head and they removed it (painlessly for him). In the past 4 months his hair has completely grown back and you cannot see where it was. I have started going for basil cell skin cancer check ups and have been very pleased both with the doctors and the staff. Have highly recommended to all our friends that are in search of a dermatologist.

Office staff very pleasant.. Felt insulated by doctor when he said that if I didnt want to deal with the red tape of the procedure that my son couldnt get when I went in I should have a ppo instead of an HMO.. It made me feel like..if I had money..he would have been more receptive .

Awesome staff that goes above and beyond for patients.

Also having issues with this company, first my mother was scheduled for a biopsy, then the appointment was canceled so we had to wait longer. Finally got another appointment with the referral and authorization paperwork they needed only for them to waste our time again! No biopsy done. This is why people hate the american health care system, all this bs kills people.

I wish I could put no stars. Lady at the front desk did not greet me or anything she sat there for at least two minutes and ignored me. I’m a new patient, first time at this office and instead of giving me whatever I needed to fill out and at least saying hello she acted like I wasn’t there. So I tapped on the window and right away she put her finger up as in “one minute”. So again, instead of just handling the new patient she continued to be rude. Opened the window and said it’ll be 25 dollars and I said are you sure you don’t even have my information yet and she said I’m sure. So I paid and she said fill this out and bring this back to me. Honestly customer service goes a long way and you should be more respectful to patients. Especially new ones. Hoping the rest of my visit goes well but by looking at the reviews it’s seeming like it’s going to suck.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was seen by a dermatologist by the name of John today and my entire encounter with this clown was annoying. I went in due to me having acne and he looks at me and says where is your acne so I said on my face. So he asks me.. so tell me about your anxiety..my response was I dont have anxiety I have acne long story short he did nothing for me and because Im 45 yrs old the medication he said may help me would not be covered because Im over 35...lol..ok Im done. So I said I just basically gave you my $10 for nothing. He says that everything he sees on my face I put there myself. I didnt know I had the power to inflick acne on myself, really.. John you are a f****** genius. So as Im leaving the receptionist says He would like to see you back in two months so I laughed and said what for he said I dont have any acne and its all in my mind. Well I know why he wants me back...its all about that money he can charge my insurance company not gonna happen...I will never return to this place and I suggest you dont go there either.

Great staff, cant thank everyone there enough. I had an appt that was more than a month away, but was having horrible symptoms, I called and luckily there was a cancellation and got me in the next business day. Really couldnt be more grateful for the compassion of the staff, they listened and cared when i spoke of my problems and were able to help me for what my issue was. Only bad thing was their computer system wasnt able to book my next appt in 8 weeks and I have to call back in a week or so... Not a fan of that, i have tons of Dr appts coming up and have to now worry about calling back in time to get a scheduled appt [no other Dr office I go to has any scheduling issue like this]- that needs to be fixed. But other than that, no complaints about the staff and it was a clean office. Thank you all @ pacific dermatology

Very unprofessional rude staff. Always unfriendly demeanor. Cant believe my doctor would refer me here. Cancelled on me twice and never returned my phone calls to reschedule. The receptionist here do not take theyre job seriously, never pleasant to talk too. They need to hire a friendlier staff

The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. The receptionists hung up on us twice when calling to confirm our appointment. When we showed up they told us our reference was expired, yet couldnt tell us that 2 months ago when the appointment was made? They never made an attempt to call us and they lied when they said they called and left a message when they didnt. This is the second time we have dealt with their rude unpleasant and unprofessional attitude. I do not recommend at all.

A PA should not diagnose and operate on certain types of cysts. Due to botched job my husband needed wound care and a home nurse for several months.

I would give it 0 stars. Took my niece in to see about her nails, because they were lifting from the root and falling off. Hands and feet. The dermatologist said that she could of smashed her fingers and that her shoes are to small. Like really!? Or that she bits her nails. How can you bite your nails from the root! Thats just crazy! She didnt smash her fingers and shoes fit her just fine. We waited to see this guy and just to not go into any further examination. We said maybe it has something to do with her body??? And he just rolled his eyes. Very rude. So we are off to see another dermatologist.
