I had my first visit at the clinic Thursday, October 14, 2021. I did not know what to expect. The doctor was thorough and answered all of my questions. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They all made me feel very comfortable.

The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Dr. Centner shows concerns for his patients. If they dont understand the illness or the treatment he finds a way to explain then to the patients. I already recommended Magruder to few of my friends.

I chose Magruder Eye Institute regardless of reviews, because it was close to my home. I was hopeful that they were at least professional. I was pleasantly surprised.. The service I received was excellent. The team was very professional, courteous, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I have shared my pleasant experience with them with my family, and suggested that they go to them, and I highly recommend Magruder Eye Institute to anyone with eye care needs.

I am satisfied with eye check up. The issue was with the glasses part. I was quoted a price to replace my old glasses a week ago. when I went there today, they changed the price (twice). In addition, I had to wait for over an hour even I called first to confirm the available time.

The staff at Magruder Eye Institute are wonderful. They always answered all my questions & were very professional. Dr. John Beneke is an excellent eye surgeon. He & his staff made me feel very comfortable & reassured.

I’ve always got my yearly check ups at Magruder eye and they get you in and out in very quickly compared to some doctors offices. I had to get a injections in my eyes and they’ve always been very quick to answer my calls when I’ve gotten home and realized I didn’t ask the right questions they’ve been very quick to call me back. If I needed medication to solve the problems I’ve had with my eyes they’ve been very quick to call them in. I think very highly of them they have a great group of staff that works with them they all have a big heart.

My appointment with McGruder Eye Clinic was fantastic. I was seen promptly at my appointment time. The receptionist, the tech and Dr Glass were all awesome. They made me feel very comfortable. The tech and the Dr. took their time with my exam. They were very knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured to hurry through the refraction. I have scheduled another visit with Dr. Glass for dry eye syndrome evaluation. I can highly recommend this office for your vision needs.

I’ve been a patient for about 10 yrs and she’s one of the main reasons I like the Apopka location because of her Friendliness as well as her professionalism. Great Eye Care, with Magruder.. I had Dr. Lehr who performed Emergency Detached Retina Surgery back in July 2019.. He saved my eyesight.. Very painless.. I know pain.. I had an appointment with this office and they cancel that because of the corona virusThis was back in February and I never heard from them sincehere it is September 30th and I called to make sure that they are seeing patients and to set up an appointmentThe lady at the front desk tells me that she cannot make an appointment for me because I owe a balance and I explained to her but I have never been seen there; just made an appointment they cancelled so how can I owe a balance when I have never even been seen?So they transfer me to the financial department and its a go around and so she erases it and clears itThen I am transferred back to the front desk where I was told I could go ahead and make my appointmentI am sent back to the front desk for an appointment and the lady there tells me that it is showing that I am still blockedI told them that I would find a company that knows what theyre doingI would not recommend this company to anyonefind a professional company who knows what theyre doing

I was seen by Dr. Beneke today, and I was very happy with the experience. He thoroughly explained what was going on, and even addressed an issue other than the reason I was there. All staff was pleasant, office was clean, and I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. Excellent!

Dr Lehr took time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions concerning my diagnosis and treatment. He did not rush me. His knowledge and kindness gave me confidence to proceed with the eye injections required. The staff is friendly yet professional. Dr. Robyn glass was thorough and explained all the test results. All my questions and conerns were answered. Adam & Daniella, on the product side, are very knowledgeable about their eyewear selections and explain all your insurance coverages.

Everything was extremely well organized starting the day before my appointment. I was really impressed with the flow of operations upon arrival all the way thru each phase (health screening, check-in, wait time, examination and billing). Plus, the staff was extremely friendly! I highly recommend Magruder Eye Institute and Dr. Glass!

I live the attention at this place. You feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in. They do everything to protect you and themselves from taking your temperature at the entrance to wearing masks and social distancing. They attention to you really quick and everything is explained slowly and clearly. Go here for your eyesight needs

If you’re able to wait long enough on hold and IF they pick up and IF you happen to get someone willing to help, you may get an appointment. I hear the doctors are great. Staff and processes aren’t very good- poorly managed.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. I call the main number to reschedule and once I got to the office at my reschedule time I was denied service!I then called the number I called previously when I reschedule and explain the situation. The assistant agreed that I had an appointment and its showing.At that point I asked her how was she allowed to reschedule me and the office Deni to see me. She had no explanation and I wasnt able to get the application, but said they can reschedule a week later. I am highly upset with this company service!!!!

Had an eye issue, called in late morning got in the same day early afternoon, usually you cant at any Doctor get in a few hours after calling the office. I was really desperate , so glad I was seen by the Doctor

My partner and I went in for our eye appointments and had an excellent visit. Dr. Glass was wonderful and very thorough. We wanted to take our prescription elsewhere to be filled as we found there frames extremely expensive. What we didnt know was that we needed our PD to purchase elsewhere and they refused to do it even after we called and was told to come in to get the measurement done.You are held hostage to either buy from them or some other big brand name that charges a fortune. Why wouldnt your Doctor want you to get your glasses you need at a reasonable prices??

From the moment I walked in the door I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in hoping to make an appointment. The receptionist noticed that my eye was swollen asked for my insurance and before I knew it I was on the schedule and on my way to an exam room. Dr. Glass was so pleasant and helped me feel at ease!

Magruder Eye Institute produces a 5 star eye exam experience. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Centner for 2 years. He is very personable, does a thorough eye exam and explains results clearly. I am impressed with the coordinated movement as patients progress through each step of the exam. My son is seven and needed glasses. We received a certificate from his school and went in for the eye exam. All was well until we were brought back. The nurse was rude very short. I get it was the end of her day, but that’s got nothing to do with us.On top of that, we are going on two and a half weeks without hearing if his glasses are ready. Been trying to call for over an hour and all that I get is a constant ringing dial tone. Would not recommend locally.

Dr. Glass is wonderful! My husband and I appreciated how thorough and knowledgeable she was during the exam. They have advanced technology- new camera that takes a picture of the back of the eye which was awesome to see and comforting when explained. Dr. Glass showed passion for the field as well as consideration for us. My husband was having a specific issue and she stayed late to make sure he was taken care of. We both got glasses from their healthful optical staff. We will definitely be back!

Dr. Amin and her staff are very efficient. Whenever I have an appt. Dr. Amin takes her time with each patient. She is very empathetic and knowledgeable at what she does. Everyone is courteous and professional. Even though I have to wait a while, I feel confident that Dr. Amin does a great job. Thanks to the entire staff as they try to make everyone feel comfortable.

Went to Magruder Eye Institute back in 2013.......I needed a new pair of glasses so this was the 1st and only place I called, I had a great experience back then. This time seemed so much better, more like family than a doctors office. From setting up the appointment, checking in at the receptionist, the pre-exam with the nurse to the exam with Dr. Glass.....just an awesome, informative, polite experience. Brought my wife to have her eyes checked also, she has never been to an eye doctor and was nervous. They even made her comfortable with the process.....which really suprized me! The service was also very good when picking out glasses at the adjacent attached office, Eyecare Optical, for glasses. Great selection, Adam explained the insurance options to get the least out of pocket options for me and let me have the time to look and try on a bunch of the many frames and was always in the area to answer questions. I got a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sun glasses, wrap style. My wife talked about the experience even the day after, particularly about the picture of the back of her eyes. Dr. Glass, thank you for making her feel so comfortable!!

They went above and beyond to make the situation right and I would happily recommend their services to anyone.

Very rude front office staff!!!! I was a new patient and my first time in the office and I was standing at the desk. A blonde woman walked behind the desk and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was told to go there from the other side and check in. She told me to wait and another woman walked up and was just as rude. No hello, nothing!! The doctor was good and explained everything to me but I will not go back due to the experience with rude front desk staff.

They are way too hard to do business with, hours change expectantly. I was called and had my appointment changed 3 times and with the limited hours, and limited contacts on hand the total process from eye exam to getting contacts takes way too long. Dr. Glass was amazing.

2nd time here, got in quickly, professional staff, saw Dr. Quickly...never a oroblem here, nice atmosphere too!

I had to wait a whole month to get to see an eye doctor then to get a call the day before my appointment to tell me that the doctor would not be able to keep his appointment and that we wont be able to see until June 27 which is over a month of my actual appointment I had. My original appointment was for May 22. Wow. To me as of right now this place stinks and aint no good.

My mom had an eye surgery and was told they would call with the follow up appointment one month from surgery date. They never called and when she called them they told her the Dr couldnt see her until August but they didnt have his August schedule which would be 90 days out. Several calls leaving voicemail at their office and nobody returns them.Terrible customer service...

More than 2 hours waiting and havent seen a Dr yet. They said it will be another hour. If I hadnt waited three weeks to see the Dr I would leave. I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone
