I’ve been going to Amanda for many years. When she moved to SmartStyle I decided it was well worth driving from Beach Park to Antioch just to continue getting the great service she always provides. She’s always been very professional and considerate of what you’re looking for. I certainly recommend her for your next hair styling needs. She’s done everything from shampoo and cut to a full color and highlights. I’ve always been more than happy with the results. I made the mistake once and went somewhere different for a quick haircut. She was even able to that bad haircut for me. She’s awesome!

The stylist that was there around 2:40pm on 12/29/2020 was rude and asked personal questions that made me uncomfortable and tried to make me double pay for my haircut. She also did not shampoo my hair and when I asked why the response was that she said she didnt have too, but then charged me for the Haircut & Shampoo. She also cut my eyebrows when I didnt even ask for it. She just did it. She did not ask permission or if I even wanted it. I am very dissatisfied and will never becoming back to any SmartStyle

Excellent hairstyle!! Knowledgeable,they gave me some tips to look after my hair and thats a service and beyond the expected!! Make good suggestions and deliver. She is the best . I would be very happy to come back.

Online hours different from reality. They were still there but turned away two little boy haircuts anyway. I could have gone elsewhere had hours been accurately posted. Wont try again.

I began coming to this shop because my regular stylist Amanda started working here. She does a wonderful job on both mine and my daughter’s hair. The salon is clean and the staff is friendly.

I dont get all the negative reviews about this place, but then again, I havent been getting anything all that complicated. I think there was perhaps one time I was turned away because there were two stylists who were occupied with customers getting coloring procedures. I was also told they were booked for the rest of that evening. Given the amount of aluminum foil I saw, I believed that. Anyway, my .02. So far Ive had no problems.

Took my daughter in for a trim and its so uneven.Giving it 2 stars the staff was nice and area was clean.

So sad today I was turned away because they where booked the lady was so rude when she said it. I told her I want an all over color and cut that is a $60+ job she had one person in the chair getting a cut. thanks for nothing. Based off the comments I read about this place. I see it as a blessing that they turned me away because if they messed up my hair huh I am just going to leave it at that and never go back.

Store was open until 7:00 PM. Was told at 3:00 that next appt was at 4:30. When I said I needed a cut and full color I was told she could not do it because she was slow and did not have enough time. 2.5 hours?
