Excited about my first visit with Dr Tessen I checked in with my insurance to make sure she was in my network and was assured she was. Went thru all the new patient paperwork and showed up 30 minutes early to be told they could not see me because my insurance demanded a referral. I knew this was wrong so went to their “billing” dept and was told the same. Came home got BC BS on the phone and they called Dr Tessens office while I waited. Lol... Quite an amusing conversation, I was right and they were wrong. They eventually called me to reschedule but I would go to a free clinic before going back to them. Clowns 🤡
