Giving one star would be to much. It’s like staying in a third world country. They would not empty the bedside commode more than 24 hours. The aids would give me one toilet tissue wipe at a time, no roll. They started physical therapy on me before they acquired orders from my surgeon. Due to premature physical therapy they broke the surgery to my knee cap and I had to have the surgery again. I had to ask my insurance company if I could self-discharge. Thank goodness I could and I had to wheelchair myself out. They stood around and watched me struggle out the front door. This place should be SHUT DOWN!!! Never let your loved ones into this disgusting hole. I was a patient there mid-December 2020.

My mother was there for a month and said the only good thing was the physical therapy! She said the care was less than impressive, they lost some of her belongings and the facility was not very clean.

My friends staying here and a nurse named Patty assaulted her. Do not bring your family here. She had to wash her clothes in the sink because no ones come to do her laundry since December 4th. Its January 2nd.

Someone needs to fire the nurse Patty before she hits another patient.

My experience with Genesis Healthcare in Annapolis recently was one of the best two weeks that Ive had in a long time. I was discharged on July 11th 2019. I was transferred to the facility from GW in DC where I had double pneumonia, diverticulitis and they had to incubate and paralyzed me and put me on a breathing tube and I was incapacitated for a month. While under I had a stroke. I had lost all muscle identity and had to learn how to walk and maneuver and with the help of the pleasantly nice staff and the nurses and the nurses aides made my time there Unforgettable. I owe a lot to the physical therapist and the occupational therapist for getting me off and walking without a walker or a cane. I felt like one of their family members. Everyone that I came across seemed like they were happy with their jobs. The food was delicious they were very accommodating and very clean. I highly recommend this place for short-term or long-term Healthcare.

After only a short, 5 day stay at Genesis Spa Creek, my brother nearly died from sepsis. He was improperly cleansed and developed a UTI, has a terrible and, of course, uncomfortable rash is his groin area to the point of having small blisters. He is a diabetic and was dehydrated when admitted to the ER. They did not keep his 8 ounce cup of water filled throughout the day. His blood sugar was usually between 350 - 500. He was on a medication where he soiled himself. They never rinsed out his dirty clothes when we came to get them for laundering. Even though the staff, nurses and techs were friendly and courteous, they didnt provide the level of skilled care one would expect in this setting.

I went to visit a friend there and was highly disappointed in the hygiene of the rooms. The heat vent was filthy and the floors with trash from the patients napkins falling. The promptness of following a schedule for PT was changed several times during the stay which caused visitors to have to leave earlier many traveled a far.
