Synergy Annapolis was able to help me with my mothers care when she was released from rehab. My mother received great support from the caregivers and was treated with respect and compassion. Synergy was also able to step in with support when other agencies called out at the last minute. I had a great experience with Synergy Annapolis and would strongly recommend them!

From an employee point of view: My time with Synergy has been one that I compare all my jobs now to. From the memories I’ve made with my clients, to the flexibility of the hours, this was by far one of the best companies I’ve ever been with. My time came to and end because I became a nurse, however every step of the way the staff at Synergy helped me with changing hour requirements and a heavy study load. Synergy gave me the experience of holding a hand in the time of need, without having a call bell down the hall to answer. Synergy gave me the confidence to share both good and bad news to the families I cared for. Synergy gave me the opportunity to work in the healthcare field while I was still in high school. Synergy gave me so much, and I would recommend to any caregiver to work with them.

As the director of an assisted living home in Anne Arundel county from time to time a resident needs a little extra help Synergy can always be counted on to help. Synergy staff are caring and helpful. They arrive ready to work and are professional. I have very good response when I call the office and can count on Brittany and Jennifer to be helpful. I would recommend this agency if looking for care.

I have worked with the owner of Synergy HomeCare for about 5 years now and am happy to say I have always had a very positive experience. They work very hard at coordinating caregivers for their clients. It is apparent that they value providing caring and compassionate service to all their clients. I would recommend them highly.

Rating: Excellent in all regardsWe engaged Synergy to provide their full array of services (Companionship, Home Maker, & Personal Care) over a seven (7 ) year period beginning November 2010 until November 2017 (ie: death at 96 yrs.). The daily care was 24/7 during the 7 years.Synergy personnel dealt very professionally with all the changes one would expect in a person aging from 89 years. to 96 years. This care included emergencies, combative cognitive decline, and physical decline. As family remotely located in Texas we were particularly appreciative of the updates and other thoughtful communications and recommendations (ie: medical professionals, hospice, etc.). Our periodic visits included meeting with the caregivers as well as meetings with administration.and medical professionals)

UPDATE: I just saw what Synergy wrote in response 4 years ago. Synergy attempted to deflect their incompetence by intimating that I dont understand what duties I hired Synergy to perform... shame on you Synergy!! Im not confused about the circumstances. Its a shame Synergy spent such an effort rebutting our customer review and so little effort on my mother in laws care.We no longer work with Synergy. The short story... My husband and I were out of town for two days on business, so we hired Synergy (caregivers) to come in and provide meals for my mother in law.We found out my mother in law was only served toast the first full day of care. When we notified the office manager she was not empathetic, mortified or apologetic... she was defensive. We had asked her if she ever surprised her caregivers by showing up unannounced just to spot check and see that everything was as it should be. No, she doesnt. We needed her to do something... seems reasonable, after all we were out of town. She had enough information that pointed to a problem. Right? She was unwilling to take action. Its not that my mother in law was being starved but for $22. an hour the caregivers should cook more than toast!!The office manager later said she had spoken to the evening caregiver. The caregiver told the office manager that she had made chicken, corn and potatoes for my mother in law. This was not true! Not one bit of it!!!!! First of all we had no potatoes in the house and secondly, when we got home, we found the chicken still wrapped in its package, uncooked, and so was the corn. When we paid the bill, I included the email conversation wed also had with the office manager and addressed it to the person that I assume is the local owner operator (a different female than the office manager)... Guess what? (And not surprising!)... We never got a call from her but Synergy did cash our check!!Our opinion... elder neglect. The other thing thats important to remember here is that my mother in law had a very good relationship with the once a week regular daytime Synergy caregiver (she wasnt available during this particular trip to fill in) and due to what happened my mother in law lost the connection shed had with that Synergy caregiver. This can be difficult for older folks because, like in my mother in laws case, she doesnt fully comprehend the whole business arrangement.Good news! We now work with a couple who live in when we are out of town and for my mother in laws regular, now twice weekly visits, we work with a different company. We also use Kerri Out for delivery of delicious meals.
