It was a little too warm in the lobby for wearing face masks and I had to wait past my appointment time to go to an examination room. That said, I witnessed all the lobby staff being extremely polite, efficient, and friendly with those who came in. Once in the examination room I was impressed by the way everyone made me feel comfortable. They listened to my problem, treated it, and I was soon on my way home.

My first-time experience at this office (I was directed here because of untenable appointment scheduling wait-times at the office where I had been a patient) was positive. Waiting room time was reasonable. The receptionist was personable, pleasant, and helpful, as was the attending assistant. The dr was professional, with helpful feedback. Minor cryosurgery procedures were done on the spot. Overall, a positive experience, and I will return next year.

Excellent, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and professional service from check in, to seeing the nurse practitioner for a full evaluation, to a minor/near painless procedure, to promptly getting scheduled for a next visit for another matter. I was very well attended to in all regards, and all was explained and counseled on extremely well.I highly recommend this office!

I just moved to the area, so this was my first visit. I’ve lived all over the country and have always had annual dermatology check ups as part of my preventative health program. The examination by Ann was the most thorough and informative I’ve ever had. Ann took the time to explain everything that she saw and was very personable. Thank you!!

Dr Gamber was punctual. She quickly surveyed my new moles and other skin anomalies. She quickly examined and explained that these were all benign. I walked out 20 minutes after arriving knowing, that at least for now, I dont have to worry about skin cancer.

The wait was minimal after check-in. I was called in to see Ms Benton even before I could finish the paperwork. Ms Benton and her assistant were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was very impressed.

I had an early morning follow up appointment at this location with Janet Benton. The waiting room was clean, not crowded and I was signed in very promptly. Janet and her staff are very professional and caring. I like that they explain everything before its done. They answered all my questions and I am very pleased with their quality of care.

I have been a patient for many, many years and have always had great appointments - if doctor appointments can be considered great! Dr. Roscoe is my doc, and he is always considerate of waving needles at me because I am really a “chicken.” Staff friendly and caring.

Filling out the paperwork from scratch every time I come for an appointment is untenable. It would be much easier and faster to give me a printout of the info you have and let me edit the new material. Or do it online, an even better solution!

Anne, who does the full body visual scans is always friendly, courteous and professional. She always asks if she can examine your face and also asks permission prior to nitrogen burning of precancerous spots.

This was the first time I visited this office. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I felt like I got a total exam from the dermatologist. I would absolutely come back here. The office was clean and welcoming and there wasnt a very long wait from my appointment time till I saw the Dr.

Had a very nice visit to this office. Front desk girls were VERY friendly, professional & fun. The female assistant that took me back to the examining room was also very professional and friendly. Dr. Gamber was also professional. My only negative thought would be that I felt kind of rushed to get me in and get me out by the doctor. It was also very hard to understand what she was saying to me through the ridiculous mask that we had to wear.

Ive had actinic keratosis for years and required MOHS surgery for a basal cell carcinoma in the past. I had photodynamic therapy to target the actinic cells. It was done professionally and courteously. Im very satisfied with the visit.

Had a really good experience with the doctor I saw. It was my first time with her and she did a very thorough body exam. Ive had it done in the past at a different clinic and it seemed like I was only give a once over. She explained some issues I had, listened to my concerns, and was quick to schedule a follow up.

Sandra Higdon is the BEST dermatology nurse, ever! Shes super sweet, and so knowledgeable. Shell only perform the services that are right for you and your skin. She doesnt try to push products at you either.She just treats you like family and gives you the best experience you can in a health care setting.Also, Carina at the Weems Creek office always accommodates my work schedule when making appointments, which is so appreciated!

I was a little disappointed that there was no distancing from other patients in the waiting room. Nor was there any wiping down of chairs sat in by patients after they got up and left the chair. There was all the precautions made to protect your staff etc but not the patients. Children were allowed to run amuck in the waiting area .Yet .. all these questions about exposure , and we were the ones that were getting exposed! Very disappointed!I am in the health care profession and I know these things CAN be done. Perhaps less chatting behind the plexy glass and more care about the spread of germs etc in the office environment .

Dr. Gamber is a wonderful physician, shes a great listener and very thorough. The office staff is professional and kind. Office is super clean and organized. It’s always a productive and pleasant visit.

My husband and I had appointments for skin cancer check ups. Other than a 45 minute wait, it was a good visit. The waiting area was clean, everyone was social distanced with masks. Janet gave us a thorough exam and her staff us very helpful.

The reception/intake process was a bit rocky & slow -- Ive been a patient at Annapolis Dermatology Associates for several years but apparently the information didnt transfer over when the practices merged. So I was asked to fill out all of the paperwork again. This was annoying. However once I got in to see Dr. Sutherland, her exam was thorough & efficient.

I dont recommend you choose to this clinic. Ms Benton, PA, was so nice and helpful. Thank you Ms Benton.However, the frond desk staff, Tracy (or Tracie), was so UNPROFESSIONAL, MEAN, AND RUDE. Her action was not as a medical professional at all. She put my wrong information in computer then printed out for me. I show her that wrong information; in stead of saying sorry and fixing it; she told me it was wrong because she put it in before she got my paper work???? and did not say sorry.Does it make sense? how did she have my information before she I gave it to her????I have been working in medical field also, so I understand that how much important for patients information when we put it in system.1, she communicated with patient really unprofessional2, She did not say sorry with patient when she did mistake.SHOULD WE TRUST A CLINIC THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENT INFORMATION LIKE THIS PLACE?

Pat Benton, NP and her assistant were very thorough with the procedure of removing a boil from my upper chest area. I was very nervous because the boil had been hurting and the area was very sore. Pat vey skillfully helped relax my nerves and proceeded in a very profession matter to clean out the boil. I appreciate her and her assistants kindness and patience, and would definately recommend this practice.

I had an awesome experience at this practice! I saw Ann Lawson, who listened to me and explain my plan of care in detail! Porsha answered my other questions and provided me with clear instructions on a handout. The front desk receptionist was great! Super friendly and had a great attitude!!

Front desk Staff is very friendly and fast. Was not there for long. Saw Janet Benton for my acne and I think she’s the best. She’s very nice and sweet. I’m struggling with acne and she makes me feel like there’s hope in having clear skin. Just saw her for my follow up and my skin has gotten better then the first time I saw her in January. 100% recommend!

Over a hour past my appointment time... Still sitting here. Complete BS... I originally wrote a one-star review while in the waiting room, but I upped it to a three because the staff and Janet were very accommodating.

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Gamber who was attentive, answered my questions thoughtfully and took care of the problem immediately.

My recent visit to AA Dermatology at Weems Creek, Annapolis was pleasant thorough and eased my anxiety over my problem. Abundant parking; a clean, orderly facility; and courteous , friendly staff made my experience a positive one. I met with the CRNP t had requested. She addressed my concerns clearly and concisely. I left knowing that my problem would be resolved by the time of my follow-up visit.

AA Dermatology is a fantastic practice. I’ve had several instances of Basal and Squamous Cell skin cancers and all of the practitioners I’ve seen have treated me with compassion, respect, and professionalism. I recently suggested a treatment that is relatively new to the PA that I see, and after discussing it with other physicians in the practice, she prescribed it for me and it has yielded excellent results. The doctors and PAs are open and willing to discuss options and take your opinions into consideration when discussing treatment plans. I’ve had excellent experiences with the Mohs Surgeons on every occasion I’ve undergone that surgery (at least 5 times now). Scheduling is easy, and wait times for appointments and when you arrive in the office are minimal. I highly recommend this practice.

This wasn’t a cosmetic dermatology thing. I was there as result of my misspent youth. Years spent as an ocean lifeguard, lacrosse coach, avid golfer and fisherman have left me in the condition I’m in. Crazy, but not stupid, I trust Dr. Roscoe to deal with the inevitable barnacles that arise from time to time. Every 6 months, he finds ‘em and cuts or burns ‘em off. I get a post card via USPS if it’s cancer, so far, so good. Not a lot of hand holding or coddling, just professional expert care. I’m good with it.

Great experience. Short office wait. Dr. Sutherland and staff were very thorough, cautious and professional throughout visit. I felt very comfortable that everything was being done to insure all facaets of my care were being accomplished. Dr. Sutherland personally contacted me to inform me of the results of my four biopsies. Great team.

Very one is so professional and kind. They have expanded the practice but still have that small practice feel to it. Dr. Sutherland is great.The only short comings were I had faxed all my medications and other information into them way prior to my appointment yet they had not received it as it went to the call center. Apparently it did not get scanned into my chart. I was also told by the call center that I would not have to complete any other paperwork as if I were a new patient. When I arrived I had to complete that paperwork as a new patient.

The practitioners and assistants are caring and conscientious! They listened patiently to my son who has some mild disabilities answer their questions and describe the issues he was having. We really appreciate Janet, Porscha, and Bri.

Once I was taken it was great but had to wait 35 minutes which is unusual for that office.

The staff is efficient, pleasant & will do all they can to fit you into their schedule. Since Ive been going for the last six months, Ive never had to wait past my appt time. I get waited on immediately. Great service!

Dr.Gamber is wonderful. The office is run really well and you never have to wait long in the waiting room or examining room. Very,very COVID safe too with masks on. I felt very safe there yesterday.

An excellent and patient-friendly practice that has cared for me for many years. I understand their use of call center technology for their several offices, but--yikes!--is it frustrating to use it.

When Dr.. Peterman left I considered finding another dermatologist that was closer to home but then Dr. Sutherland came to this practice and I visited her on Friday. She was thorough and professional and polite. She answered all of my questions. I highly recommend.

Excellent overall care at all levels. Dr Lonergan is a superb physician; she was on time for a minor surgical procedure, and provided me with detailed information before, during, and after the operation. She performed the operation in a painless and efficient manner. I recommend her strongly.

Went to Anne Arundel Dermatology for my yearly scan and for them to remove a cyst from my back. My experience with them, specifically with Janet Bennet and colleague, was outstanding. Id been going to Anne Arundel Dermatology for a few years and each year has been a solid 10. I highly recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology for all skin care needs.

I had an excellent experience once at the office. My issue is with getting appointments. I see my dermatologist every 6 months. It is not EVER possible to arrange the next appointment on the day I have my scheduled appointment.- for 6 months later. Its up to me to remember to call back when its closer to 6 months passing. Then - try to do it. Good luck. Online scheduling is tedious and irritating. And a phone call is never answered. If I hadnt been going to Dr Gamber for years, I would switch services.

Dr. Lawson is thorough and has a great patient-physician manner. Id give her 6 stars if it were possible. The front office staff, however, is brusque and officious. They need an attitude adjustment or the practice should find people with better customer-facing skills.

The office handles the visits professionally and timely. Arrived a few minutes early, couldn’t even finish filling out the papers when I was ushered in. Doctor appeared within less than 5 minutes. Did exams took care of minor item. I was out in 30 minutes total. And everyone was pleasant and covid-correct!

Very professional process for COVID-19... Seems to be as safe as any exam could be. Very pleasant staff, both front office and Dr. Gambers assistant... Dr Gamber provided an effective exam and was very attentive to the issues I brought to the visit. She was very responsive to my questions, made quick decisions (a good thing!) and provided concise, easily understood answers.

Janet is extremely thorough very careful

After standing in the hall for a very short period of time, I was screened and moved to a seat in the waiting room that was away from other patients. Filled out the necessary paperwork and then shown to an exam room. It was made very clear how the exam would go and how I would be protected and how Dr Gamber was going to be protected. I was given a very thorough skin check,, treated as needed and then left. I have always felt very well cared for and listened to by this practice.

My uncomfortable itchy skin condition, primarily below my knees,was efficiently reviewed and identified. This led to a perscription andmethod of use which, almost over two or three days, has produced a noticable reduction in my discomfort. The perscribed ointment, when mixed with the one I had already beeh usihg, has basically ameliorated the problem. The texture of the formerly irritated skin has become much smoother and more normal. No doube, Dr. OKeefe surely knew who could solve my problem and consequently refered me to Anne Arundel Dermatology where Janet Benton very effectively took charge.

I am so pleased with my provider Janet Benton, CRNP. She is caring, knowledgeable, gentle, and explains things in a very clear and understandable manner. I have had several treatments performed by Janet and her assistant and have had excellent results. I have referred several friends to Janet and I highly recommend her for routine and advanced treatments.

Each visit is a comfortable experience. My doctor goes beyond the surface to analyze and rectify my skin issues. I like how she gives me information on a level that I understand.

Arrived on time, short wait, then in for checkup. Semiannual check noted several interesting spots which were then frozen. Entire visit took 30 minutes.

Dr. Gamber is fast and efficient, but catches every little thing. I am very confident in her ability to keep me safe and healthy for a very long time.

Super happy with the folks at AA Dermatology. Have visited for routine annual skin exams, minor surgery and they identified some skin issues and solutions that I hadn’t even been aware of. Proscribed Isotretinoin regimen that totally cleared up my skin in a couple of months!

Full body checks are always uncomfortable but your NP was wonderful. She was thorough, informative and really just a lovely person. She helped me feel comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
