U of M saved my life, I have a NeuroPace device in my head to help with my seizures.U of M is miracle & Id recommend going there for any medical reasons.

Been in and out of malnutrition and Everytime i go in to get help i always face difficulty. I believe it is because im homeless and i speak my mind when i get screwed over. This one time i had the meal slip in front of me yet as soon as i get it filled out i get escorted out and had missed dinner. How can the #1 rated hospital deny someone food? Its inhumane and unjustified. A hospital is there to help those in need and yet i get the worst treatment and resentment from my doctor and nurses. Yes i complain about the service, but homeless people need to eat to. This system is inconsiderate to the needs people have. Thus hospital could end homeless hunger but their pockets are too fat and stuck up for any proper help where someone actually needs it. I have servere cavity decay and so most the food given out i cant be eat by and i feel my body decaying every day cause i cant be eat appropriately. This needs to change and today they finally gave me tickets for $10 worth of food but i still had to fight arm and leg for it. Malnutrition is a real problem and it needs to be changed for the betterment of the community

Pros: youll get cared for by some of the best doctors in the country! FYI: This is a teaching hospital.Cons: parking is horrible! You can expect some long wait times for your appointment.Ive had an appointment scheduled and then arrive only to say sorry we forgot you, and the doctor isnt here! That can be horrible for someone who drove a distance to get here.

The University of Michigan could definitely use business schools knowledge and skills to create a decent (not even asking for excellent, if they achieve decency is good enough) experience for their patients (outpatient and one timers are patients too).

Iam really , really , REALLY surprised at the negative remarks about U of M , been coming here since 2008 and have never been disappointed Im actually here now on the 6th floor the nurses are fantasti , and the care is top notch....had a double lung transplant here in 2010....THE best care ANYWHERE hands down....
