They were very receptive when we had our first baby and very empathetic when I had my miscarriage.Dr Smith is amazing and really does care about her clients. Were on to baby number two now and theyve been super nice with me especially since Ive been incredibly nervous.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this clinic once I started my IVF journey. I was supposed to start my first IVF cycle in June and they let me make the the 2 1/2 hour drive to Ann Arbor just for me to get there and have a bomb dropped on me that I couldnt start because they were paving the parking lot. NOBODY had given me any kind of heads up about this. I followed all the instructions like I was supposed to, and they even called me while my husband and I were on our way down that day to make sure I was coming!!! My heart was shattered yet again. It is beyond me who thought it was a good idea to handle that situation like that. Now here I am in August supposed to be starting my IVF cycle and still struggling emotionally from this and have asked to speak to a counselor/social worker....3 days later NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME!!! Thanks a lot Mid Michigan

I went through 3 rounds of IVF at this clinic. I agree that there were multiple residents and fellows. Sometimes I did not feel as if I received the best care because the provider was learning (sometimes unsupervised--maybe this is allowed with fellows). During my second egg retrieval the bed broke and they were unable to aspirate my follicles. I was devistated. Although requested, I never received feedback on what they have done to try and prevent this from happening to other patients. They paid for my next cycle, but I had to provide them with all of the receipts from medication payments. Since it had been greater than a year they had to re-do all of the initial testing (which was not reimbursed/covered). I did receive my miracle Ava from their services, but I will say that I felt like a number throughout the process (i.e. they notify you of an unsuccessful implantation through the patient portal...no one ever calls you). As someone who works in quality improvement, I feel they have multiple opportunities for improvement. I am writing this review 3 years after the birth of my daughter based on a recommendation from my therapist, as this process has left me with mental and emotional scars.

One of the worst place to be in. They do not treat you properly especially front desk clerk. They think they are control in everything and they advise as they are doctors on your treatment plan. When you request an appointment as existing patient and will get appointment after months as your new patient. I do not want to name of clerk but she is worst.

It can be tough to get an appointment with the Reproductive Endocrinologists, as theyre fairly busy and seem to book a couple of months out. However, once you have a treatment plan in place its smooth sailing. They give thorough notes and test results on the patient portal, usually the same day as the visit. Additionally, the staff are all friendly and easy to work with.

If you are hoping to lose time, money, and embryos, look no further! Love being treated like a number instead of a person? Youre in luck! I have been in this fertility journey for over 3yrs now and I can say with certainty that 2yrs of that time was completely wasted by UMs set in stone protocols. We started with 4 high grade, genetically tested, quality day 5 blastocysts. After 3 failed transfers with those high grade embryos, we are now switching clinics. Communication with the nursing staff was atrocious and though I loved my doctor, I hardly ever saw him. I dont tend to write reviews, but I feel very strongly that if you are looking for a comprehensive team to provide personalized care, keep looking.

Most of the staff is amazing. We were told two different stories, once we learned that our first round of IVF failed. This clinic doesnt have any answers, except it could be my egg quality but they dont know, and its true that they said they may never know... Unfortunately, with our insurance we have to continue our care with a U of M doctor. We are hoping this is our year for our miracle baby.

I did not have a great experience. I tried iui and no sucess. They had me on clomid. After going through all 4 rounds of iui. I went to get a second opinion. They said clomid is a bad drug to use when trying to get pregnant. That clomid dose not help. Really a waste of money. Unfortunately I have no more funds to go this second route. Maybe if I would of went with a different fertility clinic I would exactly be pregnant.

I started out with 1 doctor about a year ago and he was a little too rude and impersonal for my liking. Im now seeing a different doctor with this clinic and loving it. Shes kind, caring and professional.

The REI Fellow on phone duty was unsympathetic about my miscarriage symptoms and didnt take my concerns or pain seriously. I feel badly for her future patients.

I will never return to this clinic. It was a hot mess from the minute I walked in the door. I had to tell two interns my life story and why I was there. I needed help controlling my PCOS and weight gain from the PCOS before I could get pregnant. So after telling the interns the complete story, they proceeded to tell the actual doctor outside my room. Then the doctor comes in and goes over stuff with me very briefly and basically took my word for it that I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago and she prescribes me the same pills I have been on before. I was okay with this as long as they were going to do their own test to determine if PCOS was really my problem. They stated they wanted to do blood work and that was it. No pap, no ultrasounds, nothing. So I just went with what they were suggesting and then comes in another person who keeps me in the room for an hour by repeating herself constantly and forgetting what she was saying over and over. It took her an hour to tell me how to take a couple pills and send the script into my pharmacy. By the time I was done listening to her my nerves were neck high and I wanted out. I leave the place and nobody wants a copy of my insurance or ID. It freaked me out that they had no idea if I was really me or not, since they did not ask for proof. So, I head home with a 2.5 hour drive ahead of me and halfway home I realize they completely forgot to do my blood work. I was so upset. I drove 2.5 hours for some doctor to put me on medicine that I suggested and without any tests and now no blood work. What kind of clinic is this? I could have done this with my regular family doctor! So I get home and go to get my scripts, but of course the clinic forgets to call the important one in. So I had to wait a week before I could get my new pills since I never got a call back when I called. Lastly, I call from a side affect from my pills and all they tell me is quit taking them and go to a weight loss clinic. They were quick to collect insurance money and send a bill but didnt want to do anything for me and definitely not in a timely manner for what little they did do. I DO NOT recommend this clinic whatsoever.

This clinic is crazy. They have many rotating interns and fellows and on call doctors. They dont read patients history records and dont understand whats going on with the patient. For so many times, they give wrong instructions to the patient. I think this clinic is very poorly organized.
