Clean and well maintained gym. Welcoming and friendly staff. One and only problem, temperature was above normal range. I couldnt continue more than 30 minutes. It was 74F or 75F. Everyone was sweating. Need to fix.

All the misconceptions are just that. This gym has helped my lose weight in a healthy way, and sure-it may not be the gym doing it, but it is an incredible tool if used correctly. Give it a shot, see if you are ready to start a journey in fitness. If not, thats okay, but if so...Planet Fitness is a great place to start.

Amazing experience! My son and I are car camping around the country and Parker said, Why dont we join Planet Fitness so we can continue our workouts and get showers every day. He showed me that it was only $22.50 a month! Hard to ignore that kind of logic. So we went to this location last night and signed up with Aaron and Shere (sp?). The facility had every amenity I could have asked for including tanning and spa services included! Clean, kind and welcoming. An excellent environment for an excellent price.

Honestly, this place needs to lower the A/C temp, last time i was there it was at 75... no one wants to work out at that temp. It is way too hot... plus outdoor temp was 97 at the time. but other than that, it is a good gym.

The facility overall is clean. Most of equipment has been upgraded recently. The operating hours provide more flexibility for members. I recommend Planet Fitness.

During the pandemic I volunteered to work 1st, and 2nd surge due to my ICU experience. During 1st surge I canceled my subscription, send via certified mail. I received an automated message so stating my membership had been canceled. And I went about my life, and unfortunately deleted that certified mail receipt, My poor judgment. And frankly I was living in my garage to prevent my love ones from the contagion. So needless to say checking my accounts were not high on my list.Later, as the work load dropped I had noticed that the Ann Arbor Planet Fitness had started charging my account once again. This time I wrote them again reminding them that, they had canceled my membership previously, I enclosed a copy of the first letter, a second, again unequivocally canceling my membership along with a cease and dissident directive on any further withdrawals and a demand for them to return of the money they had withdrawn. Which was done.Now, I see Planet Fitness, has again begun taking money from my account, I must now see how much they soaked me for this time. And AGAIN must address this issue, as well as informing my financial institution to block there with drawls.In my current experience, if you open your financial accounts to Planet Fitness you may never get them out. Consider this before you sign.

Overall great but the free weight area is too small. Always crowded around the free weights while 80% of the gym is empty. Could use some rearranging to solve this. Staff are nice.

I really like the simplicity of the whole facility, staff was friendly and helpful.

I was really impressed, its quite large, extremely clean (machines, main floor, locker lockeroom, shower, etc.), and more relaxed than many other gyms Ive been to. They had all the types of equipment and machines I wanted, there werent a bunch of broken ones, it was a nice temp with good airflow, and the staff was very friendly. 10/10 I plan on getting a full membership now

I was warmly assisted by Nick who works at the reception. From our conversation, without doubt and hesitation I can testify that the staff is professionally trained. They know exactly where everything vis located which sounded highly helpful to me. When It comes to the purity and sanity of the facility, no one should deny that the 0670 planet fitness on stadium in Ann arbor is standing for impurities.I will highly recommend everyone whos into fitness to join this club, because it is the top shelf like Patron liquor.

The recent equipment change was a bad step. The new smith machine is straight, not inclined, which is going away from standardized equipment at other locations/gyms. Also, the bar is heavier, which makes keeping records difficult, especially for someone like me who uses more than one PF location. The benches are also a lot heavier now, which makes it challenging to adjust their position while bench pressing.

Its good to be back. Once in a while theres a wait for a machine I have in my routine. The staff is actively wiping things down, and so are the patrons. A TV or two with some dim bars across the screen could be replaced, but all the equipment is in great working order. Plus, you cant beat the price.

Open 24/7 and Just $10/Month , Ample Free Parking & Respectable Staff. What more can you ask for .Start your Healthy Journey.Well if you are hungry after workout, there are lot of Junk Food (McD, Taco Bell, Cottage Pizza) right next to it ;) ;)

Membership fee charged this morning is not refunded for person being sick for past two weeks and havent been able to step out of the house.- CONTRACT STATES.The manager was humane enough to not make me come in person for cancel the membership.Hope you are happy with flexing your CONTRACT muscle to get vulnerable people at these trying times. Some staff here are friendly usually. But I just came in tonight and got stared at as I walked in by all the desk staff and a customer they were talking to. NOT A SINGLE ONE SAID HI TO ME, JUST STARED. So unprofessional and rude! Got a staring problem at least say hi or acknowledge your staring! 2 out of 5 stars.

Clean, great facilities, pleasant service. Its clear that theyve made an effort to make it judgement-free. Totally Covid-compliant. Ive never felt safer. So glad I chose this gym.

Its planet fitness, where there is no scale in sight to check you weight. But the place is clean and I see the workers always cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. Plus it 24/7 and no contract

Great gym, lots of parking, and very friendly staff.

This is one of the better planet fitness locations you’re going to be at. The machines are all very nice and it’s quite spacious. However it is quite busy also so even though it’s spacious it’s still full of people which makes it a little bit hard because a lot of people are using the machines that you want to use.

Im trying to work out more for lent and the location is really nice as I travel a lot for work.

The gym is clean, with equipment in good condition. The staff has been consistently friendly. The price is very reasonable. Open 24/7.They do require in-person or certified mail notice when the time comes to cancel, but I did note that they made that very clear when I was signing up.Overall a very good experience. Just make sure they have what youre looking for (if youre looking for particular equipment). This is a generic workout gym. Theyll give you a tour for free, so you can see what they have.

I love working out there and they have a very nice staff team which they make sure everything is good especially during the time we deal with COVID .Thank you all for your hard work , I really appreciate it ❤️😊

Clean and spacious. Plenty of machines for everybody. Everybody minds their own business. Very affordable. Dont forget to bring your own lock if you want to use the lockers provided (otherwise prepare to buy one from them for $7).

Typical planet fitness, gets the job done

This is go to place if you look to break status quo, start journey of healthy you and dont want to be judged while youre at it! Best part here is you get to see people from all walks of life and you can get inspiration from all around- 80+ old lady to 18+ athlete.

I visit this location around 5-6 times a week. The atmosphere is great, and they have a huge variety of both cardio and strength training equipment. The staff are very helpful, and the facility is very clean!

Lied straight to my face. I knew I only needed a membership for a couple months and thought $10/ month would be great. I went in and specifically asked about cancelling after a couple months and was told the annual fee would be charged March 17th so I should cancel before then if I want to avoid it. I got charged on March 1st and effectively paid $30/ month for this sub par gym. The manager was very apologetic but not willing to do anything to fix it. When I cancelled the girl at the desk even said I dont know who keeps telling people that. Meaning this is a recurring issue. Never would have signed up had I known it was going to cost this much.

Ive been a member of this PF location for a long time. I love it. Everything I need and theres always machines I can use - even for being a college town!

This Planet Fitness facility is very clean and the staff are friendly! I was apprehensive about going to a community gym since it was my first time but the membership price was hard to beat. I don’t ever feel judged or unwelcome; this location has all the equipment I need!

Excellent facilities. Extra large parking with plenty of room for trucks or RVs around back. Lots of well maintained equipment. And plenty of space to use them. The floor doesnt feel crammed or packed in tightly like some locations do.Friendly staff. Clean locker rooms and showers. Couldnt really ask for more. This is a perfect a Planet Fitness.

Ive been using this location for a few months because I work on campus. Its been fine. Always clean. Plenty of machines. Staff is nice. The cardio machines are basic, but still do what you need them to.Yesterday, I dropped my ring in a locker and through some miracle of physics or glitch in the matrix, it fell through a tiny opening to the bottom, underneath the lockers and I couldnt get to it. I left my name and number and the manager called later to let me know theyd put in a call for a maintenance person. That guy came out and cut a hole in the bottom of the locker, but still couldnt find it. They let me look when I got there this morning and, after some poking around, I found it. It was laying on a lip of some sort, so hadnt fallen all the way down.Im so incredibly grateful that the staff went through all of this trouble for me. One of the stones in the ring belonged to my grandmother and when she died, it went to my mom. When my mom died, it came to me. Its a ring Ive worn every day for almost 10 years and means a great deal to me. They could easily have said, Sorry bout your luck. Nothing we can do. But they didnt. They went above and beyond and Im so, so thankful!Normally I think a gym is a gym is a gym - just let me use your equipment, end of story. But the staff here are exceptional and for that reason, its the best gym Ive ever been to.

I love this gym. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They have a ton of equipment, but sometimes it get very crowded. You can always get a treadmill or elliptical, but many times during peak hours you have to wait for machines. They have great stand up tanning beds and you cannot be the price.

Ive been going to this Planet Fitness for a few years and have not had a bad experience. The staff and other members are helpful and friendly. The gym is clean, both the exercise floor and the locker rooms. This is a big facility so there is enough equipment and variety of equipment that youll not have to wait for an available machine.

Been coming to the PF on Stadium in Ann Arbor the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and supportive.....especially Jordan! The facilities have everything I need to achieve my goals including free weights, boot camp exercises with numerous cardio options. The price can’t be beat at $23/month they provide three types of massage plus tanning and they are open 24 hours!

We have the Black Membership and love the amenities that affords us at Planet Fitness. The equipment is plentiful as well as being of a professional grade, well maintained. Weve been to other fitness facilities and equipment wasnt as available or fell victim to a sad state of disrepair. Never a wait for the equipment you want to workout with.

Been a member since day 1 at this club. Loved it and have been going regularly for its convenience and the amenities I needed. Unfortunately, the condition of the club has been steadily heading downward. It is filthy, particularly showers and locker room; as well as equipment. Furthermore, it seems if anything breaks, whether equipment, shower facilities or otherwise, it often is not repaired for quite some time; if ever. Today, I arrived at the club and there was a sign stating that there was no hot water, ‘due to high member usage.’ Really??? Really disappointing, as I really enjoyed going to this club. I’ve even had to resort to contacting the corporate office to send a complaint, which I never normally do. Wish I could still recommend this club.

It is what it is. Good for working out. Most of the time smells funky. If you want something that smells better go to LA fitness.

There are not enough ceiling fans to keep all its customers cool, especially if using the Arc Trainer, rowing machines, or weightlifting. Those can be the most intense, sweaty workouts. I see only two big fans here, towards the entrance. I didnt feel any significant air conditioning when I walked in. Bathroom soap dispensers werent working. Im visiting since my home club in Ypsilanti is under construction. Hopefully the same mistakes arent made there.

The only 24/7 option in Ann Arbor. Simple and great! Hei, 20lb barbell is a 20lb barbell anywhere, and here its a nicer one

This planet fitness has everything all the others have and also nice big locker rooms! The times Ive gone it hasnt been too crowded so I could use any machines I wanted to without much of a wait. the parking lot is big so even if its packed theres still usually spots.

To tolerate a term of great fraud is unacceptable! Working respectfully with the customer obviously is outside your narrow band of character .

Good gym to hit the basics of whatever youre looking for- cardio or weights or body weight exercises. It is always packed. I wish they had more options such as boxing,group classes, etc. The hydromassage beds are wonderful but I wish you could spend more time in them. Overall great value for your money!

Its honestly a pretty standard Planet Fitness experience if youve ever been to one. The equipment is plentiful, and the space is well used I think. The staff is generally friendly and from what I can tell it is mostly actually a judgement-free Zone. I do still feel a little intimidated when I go to use the free weights though.The thing I like most about this place is that there seems to be two of any machine or piece of equipment that you would possibly want, and Ive never had an issue getting a hold of a treadmill or other type of machinery. Thats really what I look for in a Planet Fitness

First and foremost this is a review for planet fitness on stadium Blvd. Technically this gym could have get 4.5 stars however recently the maintenance are cleanliness awful and urgently need to be addressed. On a positive note some of the employees are getting a rating of five stars plus!. I hope to edit this review in the near future and add couple of stars.

The gym aint bad, but their business model revolves around making it a massive pain to cancel once you move away. If youre leaving Ann Arbor, go in person, and make them swear up and down & sign in blood that they cancelled your membership.

This gym is amazing! There staff is very nice, and so are the members. When they said it is a no judgement zone, I was a little nervous because they cant control who comes in, but I didnt feel judged in the slightest. Everybody comes to workout and do their own thing. They have plenty of workout equipment and I dont think Ill ever have a problem with not being able to use a machine because they are all in use. Also ***Huge plus!!!*** the bathroom and locker room doesnt smell at all! It smells clean and well maintained. They also have personal showers that lock. Highly recommend joining this Planet Fitness!!

Ive frequented many PFs over the years. This one isnt bad as far as actual equipment. My main complaint is the locker rooms. They are often in rough shape and not frequently cleaned. Id take this location over any other PF in the area, but they do have a little room for improvement.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff with clean and well maintained machines. This gym can get really busy during peak times. Tanning machines are also in great condition as well as their hydrobed. Expanding the parking lot was a great improvement.

Good gym, just very busy. Rarely are machines broken or weights missing. The gym is in good shape, especially considering how much use this places sees. I suggest avoiding peak hours (mid-day and around 6/7pm), if at all possible. It helps that there are multiples of machines and the place is well-organized.The bathrooms/showers/locker rooms are very no-frills - dont expect a sauna. Ive never used the tanning rooms, but my friends say that they are good and there isnt usually a wait.

Good place. Affordable. 24 hour. Big parking lot with constant traffic. Good location. At one point the gyms location was a video store, holloween store and a bank.

They havent joined the 21st century. They dont allow you to cancel membership over the phone or online. If you move out of state you have to go back to the location or physically mail in a letter asking to cancel. I think that is horrible business ethics. If you stand behind your product you dont have to cage people in like that. I was thinking of rejoining down in Miami but I cant support this business practices. The website wont even send an email to allow me to register and try there. LA isnt this bad and they offer a lot more!

Went in for a day pass at Planet Fitness with my wife. It costs $20 for the day for one person so its a bit pricey for what they offer. Nice clean gym with lots of cardio machines. Limited weights but enough for a few people. Probably wont go back again.

Planet Fitness is a gym for people who want to get in shape, but do not have professional oe semi-pro goals. The type of equipment you will find here is a reflection of their consumer. Most of the equipment is a machine, which in some cases, designed to assist the user who likely does not have a human assistant or spotter. The gym is open 24 hours a day and the employees do a fairly good job of keeping the place clean at all times.

As always, love going to this place. Never too full and always able to use the equipment Im looking to use.

Convenient. Friendly. Open. Its small- midsized for a PF but has plenty of equipment to meet the demand.

Equipment is always in working condition and they have plenty of it. Even when its busy i have no problem finding a treadmill. They have tanning booths and hydro massage beds you can use for free if you are a black member. The only problem I have is that they are very short staffed and dont have enough people to run the place.

Friendly, courteous staff. Main area and (mens) locker room kept clean; well-lit, plenty of machines available even during peak evening hours. No pool or track, but one corner of the gym is dedicated for stretching (with mats). There are both tall and short half-lockers available; would appreciate more tall lockers, as those are usually occupied during peak hours. If you lose your lock or forget the combo, they sell standard Masterlock dial/combo locks for $7 each.

A lot of machines , stretch room, relaxation rooms, free advice from Theresa who is very knowledgeable. What is not to like?

The management that owns this franchise location is extremely difficult to work with or get a hold of!!I called in and asked to cancel my membership (personal reasons, nothing to do with this location). They pulled up my account and told me that all memberships have to be cancelled in person. Since I moved to a different city, I asked if they could just cancel it online or over the phone. They told me no. So a couple weeks later I made the trip out to the AA location and asked to cancel it. They told me that I was one day late and my next years membership had gone into effect along with the $39 annual fee. I told them that I couldnt make it out any sooner and I was not warned about this on the phone when they had my account pulled up. They told me that the only way to possibly get that fee reversed was to talk to a manager in person. I returned a few days later asking to see a manager. They told me that the managers at this location all leave by 3:00 PM. Since I work during normal hours I am not able to stop in and talk to a manger. The lady at the desk was rude telling me that I had no chance of getting a manager to agree to reverse the charge! I tried calling Planet Fitness customer service line. I automatically got a computer recording and every option I chose just gave me the message that PF location are franchise owned then I was hung up on!!

They try so hard to be all inclusive that they neglect common sense. Far too many rules for my taste.

I joined planet fitness shortly after it opened.Previously I belonged to U of M recreation center. I am saving a ton of money,parking is never a problem and the facility has everything I need.The staff is great,friendly and helpful.The trainer on sight is terrific and will help you design a program without additional cost. I pay $19.00 a month and thats the upscale membership.My son pays $10.00. If you want incredible value in a clean modern fitness center Planet fitness is the place to check out

Not much into the Planet Fitness scene, but was in the area for a couple months for work and was a cheap gym to go to. If you can call it a gym, just basic fitness equipment. If youre just looking for general fitness, is a good place.

The staff is really awesome and helpful. I wish I didnt have to move because I loved going here. I hope they open a facility in Hattiesburg so I can be part of such a great place again.
