Ive been coming here for a few months after searching over a year to find a good therapist. I am a social worker myself so I was very choosy about the modalities and services offered. I am SO glad I landed here, Sheila is wonderful. She challenges me in sessions but provides such a supportive and safe environment. I finally feel like I have someone I can trust to confide in and she truly listens to my perspective. I recommend Refreshing Waters everytime I can. I feel lighter each time I go.

I started doing EMDR here with Sheila about 1-2 months ago and have found it to be incredibly helpful. I was on a waitlist for awhile but ended up getting a phone call a few months later when there was availability. Overall, very grateful Im here and for the guidance and help Ive received.

Refreshing Waters has been so easy to work with. I like that I can just sent a quick text if running late or something, and Ill get a response from my provider right away. The online portal to check in is easy to use. When I had questions about a specific group, the representative called and left a detailed voicemail and also spoke to me over the phone for twenty minutes explaining everything about the group and individual therapy. They take their time with you and truly care. I will definitely be referring others in need of mental health services!

Above & beyond my expectationsRefreshing Waters consistently goes above and beyond my expectations. In fact, they’ve provided services that I never knew I wanted or needed. It’s a progressive practice that offers excellent counseling (as we all expect) as well as professionalism and convenience in their service delivery. With a variety of communication methods, they help me schedule appointments online, by text or email. When I couldn’t come in for face-to-face meeting, they offered a secured and legal (HIPAA compliant) video conference option. When I changed insurance companies, they took it (because they take just about every company). By making annual goals and setting milestones with me, I can see the progress that I think, and feel, that I’m making. I highly recommend Refreshing Waters.

I’ve been seeing Sheila Burns at Refreshing Waters for over a year now and I’ve never felt more welcome and understood. She has just the right way of making you not feel alone, or crazy. Like I’m sure most of us feel. My daughter has always had some anxiety and since starting kindergarten it has really escalated. I brought her with me to an appointment with Sheila just to pick her mind and get some tips and ideas. I’ve never seen my daughter open up to someone so quickly. Sheila made her feel very welcome from the beginning (including a hot chocolate that made her day!) she wasn’t pushy with questions. She just talked with her. Let her draw and she opened right up, more than I’ve ever managed to get from her. The way she managed to have my daughter describe her feelings was amazing. When we left she said that she wanted to come back and talk every day.I can’t recommend Refreshing Waters and Sheila more.

I have been going to this establishment for over a year and absolutely love it. The receptionist is fantastic and is always asking how your day was, remembers things about you, and is very knowledgable when it comes to insurance. Sheila has always been great with me and I cant recommend her enough with everything she does. She takes the time to really get to know you and is able to joke around too. This place absolutely has helped me get to a better place in my life and I will continue to work with them for as long as I can.

Ive been waiting for over a 2 years. staying on the wait list was worth it they ask for a lot of information up front but they really know what they are doing. I love that I can text and email them because I dont like talking on the phone. The team is fantastic and the intake coordinator know what she doing shes amazing if I could give more then 5 stars I would they defiantly follow up and follow through.

Every interaction Ive had with the staff at Refreshing Waters has been pleasant. They are very professional and courteous. They are friendly and welcoming. The office is conveniently located, clean and modern. They have been a joy to work with for my daughters counseling needs. I also enjoy that they have an easy to use online patient management system, that allows you to view your appointments, message staff, and pay your bill, securely online. Would definitely recommend.

The staff at Refreshing Waters have been such a constant in my recovery since fall of 2018.I have greatly appreciated the time and energy that they’ve invested into helping me overcome my fears and finding what triggers my ptsd.The EMDR has definitely been a major help towards my mental recovery and I have to say I was extremely skeptical about this form of treatment at first, however I took the time to ask questions and seek answers from their helpful staff as well.I recommend them for any counseling needs.

Very disappointed. I wanted to find someone great and love it here, but never received the chance. I left a voice message sharing my health concerns and reasons for calling to make an appointment, and filled out the online application form. I gave it several days and tried to call again only to receive an answering machine. I never received a call back nor even an email from my online inquiry. Again, I am very disappointed. Mental health has always been a priority for other therapists that I have worked with.

I highly recommend Refreshing Waters Counseling. Making appointments are very organized and you are scheduled out for an entire quarter. RWC stays up to date on best practices for support and therapy. I’ve been going here for over 1 year and have been able to grow as an individual with RWC support. If you are looking for counseling and not sure where to start, I suggest here.

I highly recommend Refreshing Waters Counseling. I participated in 1:1 counseling and workshops and I found both to be transformative. The staff works to understand your unique needs and tailors their approach to what works for you. I was able to see growth, learning and change within a few sessions. I never had an issue with scheduling or timing they were always flexible and accommodating too.

Love them! The counselors are excellent! Ive been to a few different places and here, they really care about their patients. Caring healthcare providers make a significant impact on your treatment and ability to recover. I highly recommend them for adults and children.

Very unprofessional. They were unresponsive to phone calls, emails, and texts. We tried getting in to talk to someone for weeks because the other reviews seemed very positive! When we finally spoke (by spoke, I mean exchanged a couple emails) they took their time getting back to us via more email, and then we finally got a phone call once I sent a text talking about how unhappy we were about the lack of communication. The office is nice but a bit chaotic as there are other businesses there as well. ******If you are looking for someone to help you in a timely manner, do NOT even bother contacting this office. *****

I can’t say enough about Refreshing Waters counseling and how they have been such a blessing in my life. From my first interaction, while trying to schedule, to the weeks of dedicated time, I am grateful to have found them. I have long since been a patient of counseling services but have never made the amount of progress that I have since coming to this practice. Staff is very nice and fast at getting things done. They schedule appointments with in a day. They were able to help me with my insurance questions and concerns. They are on top of things there. The office is super nice and very clean. Doesnt feel like I am going to a counselors office.

My wife and I have seen 2 different counselors here and have been happy with both. They have been very responsive to any calls and questions we have had, and were quick to clear up insurance confusion.
