Hairdressers are not mind readers; they cant tell if you like/dislike something if you never give them feedback. She is the only hairdresser I ever see now.

I have fine, straight hair and always have a hard time finding a stylist who knows how to work with it. Jung Mis was recommended to me through a local moms group. Setting up an appointment was easy (she does book up fast though). She was professional in finding out just what I wanted but when I asked what she recommended she had great, professional insight that made me tweak my style just a little bit. And I am SO glad I did. I have a new baseline cut that is super stylish and super easy. She also does color work and does great with all hair types. The parking was convenient and I combined my trip with a nice stroll to downtown shops.

Jung Mi works hard to satisfy and please you. She listens attentively to your needs with color and cut.

I had a wonderful experience. The person who cut my hair (Ms. Chang herself Im sure) was friendly and had a very welcoming personality. I love my long hair and when I mentioned that, she was very careful to cut it in the style I wanted without taking too much off at once. Every so often she would give me a mirror and check to make sure if I wanted more cut off or if it was fine. Very considerate, and the hair cut did not feel rushed at all, which is the feeling I get when going to a lot of other salons. She made sure I was happy with the cut every step of the way and explained everything that she was going to do. This was my second visit so now Im confidant enough to have all my future trims and cuts with her.

I am housed in Ann Arbor just for the summer, and I came to this place because it had good reviews. She cuts very well and even knew what kind of cut I last got just by looking (It was my first time here, and it had been three months since my last cut, so my hair got pretty long). Korean style haircut.

My hair was cut a little bit unevenly by a friend so I went to this hair collection to make it even. It was literally a 5 minute thing-simple, fast, didnt cost the owner anything. All I asked her to do was to fix the uneven part. She charged me 30 dollars for 5 minutes. Will never go there again and will never recommend my friends to go there because the owner apparently doesnt know how to do business.

I was struggling for a long time to find the right person to cut my hair. I have thick Asian hair that needs to be blended a certain way, otherwise itll stuck out on the sides and look really awkward. I tried Orbit, Nolas, Aveda, New Age Salon, but all of them didnt quite get it right for my hairtype. I got so frustrated that I asked one of my Korean friends who went to University of Michigan as an undergrad where he got his haircut and he referred me to Jung Mi. I am so glad because in addition to doing a great job with my hair, she also great about scheduling appointments, is super helpful, and is a short 5 minute walk from Central Campus.
