I filed a complaint with the MN Attorney Generals Office against Minnco because they closed my accounts without notice during the time my business was shut down for covid, due to a 99 cent charge didnt clear. They refused to fix their issues and put negative marks on my record so I couldnt open an account with any other bank. After the AG got involved, they removed the negative marks, but still made me pay $60 before they would allow me to close my account. I paid it gladly, so I could be done with them for good. I would never open another account with them.

They charge 15$ to make a payment over the phone. What’s that all about? Robbery

Very personable staff! Easy loan applications and approval. Much better option than mega-banks. Reviewers (Not the folks who had financial emergencies but the ones that offered no details) that have a negative experience probably were denied loans because of poor credit ratings. I would recommend this bank to anyone with average up to great credit.

Working with Minnco initially seemed great for my motorcycle loan, good interest rate and pretty minimal downpayment. However, having banked with them for a year and a half now and them having system issues with their partner insurance company now telling them I owe them almost $2,000 more than I should. Ive been trying to get this issue resolved and they tell me its been fixed but its been months and it hasnt been fixed and Ive been trying to be cooperative by having to pay inflated payment amount from what they should be, having to pay extra payments and unjustified late fees. Its been a total nightmare.

Been going here for nearly 10 years now and love it!! I used to be with TCF but after some issues with them I decided to try Minnco. They are genuinely the nicest people ever, they always go above and beyond and do seem to truly care about you. They even remember me by name when I stop in! Ive taken out and paid off multiple loans here and they have the lowest interest rates Ive ever seen. I wouldnt bank anywhere else, love this place!

I would have rated minnco a 5 star 3 years ago, because as long as things are great they are great, but if you ever go through a financial hardship they will turn on you and offer no assistance, only harassing phone calls, locked accounts. After being a member for 20 years and over 30 loans paying literally 100s of thousands in interest over the years. I ran into a situation where I wasnt paid for a job right away and would need a short term loan to cover costs for a few months, this sort of loan was done for me multiple times before, this time I was told I didnt qualify, debt to income too high, without this loan I explained that I would be late on my loan payments the next few months, this led to late payment after late payment, which destroyed my credit and made any future loan impossible, they locked both my business and personal accounts and left them locked after I paid up my loans, added unreasonable fees and made no attempt to remedy the situation. I explained the situation and got only disrespectful demanding phone calls from Sherry, pleaded my case with Mark and Doug, and a couple others and got nothing, only person who would call back was Sherry with another humiliating phone call in which she offered no assistance or understanding. I was able to get all loans caught up and paid off, like I always had, credit will return, but will never forget the lack of decency that they showed to a long time member

People should put why they like this Credit Union. There APR% is better than most banks or CU that I have. Theres 1 teller that had a problem with me at first but the issue was taken care of. I just wish theyd stay open longer on Saturdays. It would help customers more I believe.

If you need a loan... Not here..I have good credit,100000 in home equity, motorcycle and mustang paid off.Great income .Military income...Plus owe farm land which I rent and still can’t get 8000.00. Next!!!!Place is terrible!

I have multiple accounts with Minnco. The staff is always friendly and remembers you by name, unlike the big box banks like Wells Fargo and US bank that treat you like a number. I highly recommend this credit union!!!

Unfortunately Andover usually only has 1 teller inside. Yesterday I stood in line for nearly 10 minutes with only 1 person in front of me. 2 other bank employees walked by multiple times and acknowledged me, but did not offer to help! When I asked for a manager they told me there wasnt one working and when I asked for the bank phone number the didnt know it and wandered around the bank looking for a business card with the number on it. SMH! They dont offer anything other banks/CUs dont offer so well be looking for a new bank/CU because its always like this! NO MORE!

Called and told to come into the lobby for an atm card. Get to the Andover office and told I can only order that over the phone.Geez...Customer service representative Allyson was very nice and helpful.

If you ever get an insurance payout check for lets say... totaling your vehicle out, dont bank at Minnco Credit Union. Theyll take your check and hold it ransom for 7 business days because apparently they dont trust Progressive, but theyll promptly cash any other personal check made for the same amount from any Tom, Dick, or Harry. This is just my most recent problem with Minnco. Theyve also had technical problems causing me to not receive my work direct deposit for half a day or more on more than one occasion. Ive been a customer for 12 years and I think its finally time to go somewhere else.

Worst bank. Customer service is terrible. Manager Brad Scholl thinks hes top dog and was horrible. Had the crappiest attitude ever and made it feel like hes too good to help you. Tracy at the Cambridge location just as bad. Thank God I am closing with them and going to be done. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!We have had several problems with this bank including withdrawing funds from the ATM and the funds didn’t come out. Manager had to review cameras OVER THE WEEKEND to credit funds back. Also when we moved out state the account had a zero balance in checking and they reported 30 DAY LATE PAYMENTS ON MY CREDIT BUREAUS!!!! They refuse to address or remove them! This bank in my opinion is the biggest mistake as far banking goes in the area along with US BANK ANDOVER BRANCH. Horrible experiences! Thanks! Robert H.
