I have been a patient and by default, a friend of the Andover Cosmetic Dentistry practice for 11 years. Its like going to Cheers, where everyone knows your name. From the second I walk in, Im greeted like a family member. Doctor Scott Sweeney has amassed a staff dedicated to customer service, caring but most of all, quality dental care. My appointment this morning was to save a tooth with a limited life. He used his skill and imagination to give it extended use. Why would I travel an hour from Ashland to Andover if I didnt trust him and his staff implicitly? This is a terrific practice I recommend highly.

The staff is so welcoming and professional. I always feel that they truly care. I really like the way the Doctor gives me options and doesnt try to sell me the world.

Today was my first appointment at Andover Cosmetic Group. All I can say is that I had a great visit. Hiba(hygenist) was extremely attentive, sweet, very well spoken. Andover Cosmetic Dental Group has been a Godsend for years for me. My first appointment was an emergency about 6-7 years ago. I’ve not been a fan of dentists since my traumatized visits as a child! I would recommend this dentist to anyone who wants wonderful service.I went in with a cracked tooth, and I did not want a root canal, as other places told me I needed. The dentist listened, and offered an alternate resolve to my issue. I was fitted with a crown, and so far everything is going well.They did a superb job fitting my appliance. I can’t tell the difference and I do not feel the transition from real tooth to the crown. I did notice something when I got the temporary crown, but being temporary, I felt it was relieving the sensitivity to hot and cold perfectly.The office was very nice, clean, and welcoming. They did a great job addressing the CDC guidelines to deal with the latest pandemic.Again, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a surprisingly great dental experience.

Before Andover Dental, I’ve been switching from one dentist to another in North/Andover area until this. Dr Sweeney’s service is impeccable, courteous, and you could tell that they’re not milking you by offering unnecessary services (unlike other dentist out there). Their new location is located in Andover downtown and it’s very cosy to say the least (only complain is parking). From what I could tell as well, is that their admin is contractual. In a way it’s good/bad … there were times that the admin was somewhat rude and others were very nice (which you’re hoping that they’ll keep them for good). Overall, I’m indifferent with the admin and location as long as Dr. Sweeney is the dentist! 🙂

Its going to sound like an exaggeration but its not. Visiting this dentist was life changing. I have spent the last 10 years of my life hating the dentist, neglecting my teeth, and convinced that there was no hope for a smile. After one visit so much has changed. I now look forward to my appointments because the doctor and his staff were so nice and relaxed. The doctor talked to me before he ever put his hands in my mouth to talk to me about comfort and what I want my smile to be. He really listened and he and the nurse made every adjustment to make me comfortable (which is a hard task due to my anxiety). They did an amazing job on my teeth. I have never smiled so much at the dentist and I tear up looking in the mirror I love it so much. But so much more than that, they made me proud of my smile again. They focused on what could be and made me proud of small steps rather than yelling at me for my past decisions. I take better care of my teeth now because I hear them in my head telling me how pretty my teeth are now and how gorgeous Im going to look in my wedding photos. The positive attitude of this place really did change my life. I can never reccomend this place enough to my friends and family.

Today was my first appointment with Andover Cosmetic Dentistry after 43 with my previous dentist in Exeter, NH who recently retired. I spent most of my time with Chantelle who was very nice and friendly and did a superb job with taking the x-rays and the cleaning of my teeth and examination of my gums. She explained everything she did and what she found. Then Dr. Shah came in to examine me and he to was very pleasant and explained what work I needed to consider having done. It was also nice to see a beautiful office with the latest technology. So far, so good. I will be going back.

Went in for a regular dentist appointment. All went well. Dental hygienist was great, i believe the ladies name was Tiffany. I don’t exactly remember. But needless to say, she was awesome. The dentist i saw this time was the new guy. Gentlemans name was Dr. Mike. Great guy. Very knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does. I got the sense both he and his hygienist really care about their patients.This was my third time going there and it seems everytime i go i see a different hygienist and doctor - all of whom i would highly recommend. Hi my name is Leslie Welch I am a patient of Dr.Sweeney and my hygienist is Chris, they are both kind and professional I look forward to seeing them, how many people do you know that like to go to the dentist? One particular reason I am writing this review is due to the kindness shown to my mother by Dr.Sweeney, I called Dr.sweeney explaining that my mom could not wear her dentures because they hurt her, he didn’t hesitate and asked me at my convenience to stop by and he would take care of her and indeed he did. This may not seem like a big deal to some but it certainly was to a 93 year old woman who took great pride in her appearance. Thank you Chris and Dr. Sweeney you are 5 stars in my book. my mom Ruth passed away a short time after her teeth were fixed, she went to be with the Lord with her pearly whites. 😀

I went in for a cleaning and check up. The hygienist was competent, thorough and great company. My teeth have never felt so clean. Dr. Sweeney always takes great care to go over my work and what I need. The whole staff is friendly and professional. The customer service is amazing. The office is clean, inviting, and very comfortable. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Andover Cosmetical Dental is only for people that are very well off financially. Im sure they are great at what they do. However in my experience it was 4 months of waisted time and getting the run around. Upon my consultation in January they took thorough images which are covered by my insurance. The dentist came up with a full and extensive plan for my new smile. In April I was informed by Heather then Wendy that the doctors would not proceed with any work unless the whole bill was paid upfront? If you have $20,000 laying around then this place is probably the best around however if not then you are not welcome. I do have good credit and also asked to pay in increments several times. I was told NO we are sorry but everything must be paid upfront ! This was my first choice but Im now moving to another cosmetic dentist that will happily work with me financially. I hope this review helps others to not waste there valuable time.God Bless
