I’ve been going to Salon Beau for years and although I had not been since before the pandemic, I can tell you nothing but improvements have been made. When you walk in you’re immediately receiving a warm welcome. I got my cut and blow dry with Gianna and she was friendly funny and listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered just that. All in all a great experience and a great environment.

Gianna is the BEST! I want natural looking blonde hair and she is such an artist. I dont even think the photo Im posting does it justice - I get so many compliments on the color! She also blends the gray at my roots in so beautifully that I can go a significant amount of time in between appointments. Its so hard to choose who to go to for a balayage look - go to Gianna!

I was looking at the reviews of this salon and they looked phenomenal! I saw one bad review on a hairstylist named Samantha! At first glance I was a little nervous but then I realized this lady basically harassed this poor stylist while on MATERNITY LEAVE!!! I was like wow, she would not provide the formula of the hair dye big whoop. Anyways.. aside from the completely rude and annoying comment this random lady wrote.. I ended up Having Samantha as a stylist. She was absolutely the kindest and most friendly person ever!! I am so thrilled with how my hair turned out and I COMPLETELY recommend giving them a visit! The whole boho- aesthetic of the store was just perfect too!! It is just so professional and clean!! Thanks so so much Sam and I hope to see you again soon!!! -Jack

I saw Samantha for over 5 years. She did a decent job and got my hair healthy again because I bought all the products she recommended. Fast forward to when she’s about to go on maternity leave. During that time I had a friend color my roots while she was gone. I had asked her if she used a 5 or 6 on my roots to make sure my friend used the correct color. She refused to tell me which number it was. I recently messaged her asking how her and the baby were doing and if I could set up a time to come back. She then denies me and tells me she doesn’t think she’s the right stylist for me. SUPER unprofessional to say to someone. I only left because she was leaving also for her maternity leave. This was after I followed her from her Wilmington job that she left to now Andover. She once said she moved salons for the money. It was better and more expensive then Wilmington. Not only did she insult me by denying me but the real problem is she doesn’t think I have the money to afford her which is extremely insulting and none of her business. I always tipped 20% if not more. I have never had any kind of professional deny seeing me. It’s absolutely ridiculous and not good for business. She handled this very poorly. I do not recommend her to anyone. She only cares about your money not you personally. Don’t let her screw you over as well!

Richie at Salon Beau is wonderful! Ive been seeing him regularly for ALL my hair needs: balayage, glaze, haircuts, coloring, etc. He is an extremely talented stylist and colorist, and you can tell he is very passionate about his work! Richie is also very talented at hair styling and did my hair for my baby shower. :)

Gianna was excellent! She did such a beautiful job with my foils by making my hair nice and bright while keeping it natural. Also she gave me a nice trim without taking too much off the length, just enough to keep it healthy! Gianna also blended my root so that I wouldn’t have harsh re-growth from the foils. She’s also given me advice on getting my hair healthy again from using the products that the salon sells and has been helping tremendously! 10/10 would recommend seeing Gianna 😊

My experience here was amazing. I had Gianna blow dry and curl my hair. I was kind of scared that she wouldn’t be able to handle my 3B curls but she exceeded my expectations. She did it within an hour, kept me entertained with conversations and I loved my look in the end. I’m definitely coming back here in the future and recommend it to anyone thinking of going!!

It’s a mini vacation every time and I leave feeling terrific. Each staff member truly gives you dedicated attention the entire time you are there.

I started going to Gianna over a year ago and my hair has been perfect ever since. She is the best! I went in for hair service and I left really happy with my results. I went there with orange hair after going somewhere else first to get a Balayage and being highly disappointed. I went to Salon Beau and I met with Richie for a consultation and then had my hair appointment which was great. My hair now feels so soft and rejuvenated and the orange is gone. He explained to me the products that would help protect my hair from the sun and he was very nice and I will definitely be going back.

I always used to dread going to salons because I could never find one where I didnt feel judged. I also never felt like the stylists would actually listen to me, and would rather just do their own thing. I would consistently leave salons feeling meh. At best, Id go to a salon once a year, and it was always someplace new, in hopes of finding that perfect place. Once I moved to Mass, I decided it was time to find my home salon, and sat down and researched every credible salon within a 30 minute drive from my home. Thats when I found Salon Beau! Ive been Giannas client for over a year now and put my full trust in her abilities as a colorist and stylist. She listens but also imparts her own knowledge and expertise to ensure that her clients are leaving with top-notch results, feeling their absolute best. Not only is Gianna personable and professional, but the whole atmosphere at Salon Beau is upbeat and positive. The 30 minute commute to Salon Beau is worth it every time, and I never leave Giannas chair feeling anything less than ecstatic with the work shes done.

Have been going to Richie for almost 2 years now- he goes such an amazing job every time, and I leave feeling like a million bucks. Super easy to book or reschedule, the salon is bright and welcoming and always has a good vibe, and they offer a wide range of everything from bright fantasy colors to curly cuts and balayage. Last year over quarantine I continued to use the products and suggestions recommended, and my hair still looked amazing over 4 months later. Whatever Richie suggests always ends up being so spot-on, and I love having that level of trust in my stylist.

After having my hair turned orange by another hair salon, I was looking for a new stylist and heard of Salon Beau through another Andover business. My first experience was amazing and Chelsea brought my hair back to life. I started seeing Sam a few months later and have been seeing her for the last year and half. She does an amazing job, makes sure my hair stays healthy and is much fun to be around. I would highly recommend The Salon Beau.

It took me my entire life to find a hair stylist who does my hair exactly how I want but can also offer advice and tips when I need it. I have super thick dark brown hair and she always make my highlights and layers blend so naturally. I can’t say enough good things. GO SEE HER!

Richie was such a sweet person. I LOVE my haircut. He gave me layers and he really listened to what I wanted. I haven’t gone to a salon in years because they never listen to me and they always either cut my hair too much or would just rush my hair, also so many salons make you feel awkward. Richie was so patient and definitely listened to what I wanted. The place was so clean and so professional and Richie even gave me a hair mask! It was so relaxing and such a great experience. I even drove 30 miles to get there but it was so worth it ! Also, the blonde girl at the front desk is a sweetheart. Complimented my necklace and was so kind and professional and easy to talk to. So my mother brought my daughter to this salon for her first hair appointment ever! Was a great outcome. My mother also set up her second appointment for august and didn’t book a cut, so I called to make an appointment just for a cut in July that they took upon themselves to cancel. They continued to text my mothers phone about appointments and not the number I continued to give them for there are different appointments for different things. When we showed up in July the young lady who said she was the manager was so rude and inappropriate with how she handled things that my 10 year old daughter started crying and asked me to leave! They later texted yet again my mother’s phone about rescheduling with a discount that was fine we took her for a cut elese where and was just keeping her appointment on the 22nd.. come to find out my mother called to confirm the time and they told her the salon no longer wants us back in And is not a good fit. Let me be very clear that during the difficult times this past year and people still coming to spend a couple hundred dollars at your salon and you tell people their money and business isn’t welcome after making a 10 year old cry by your “manager” telling her “kid I don’t know what to tell you your appointment was canceled “ when my daughter asked what happened is absolutely the worst form of service I have EVER seen. You reach out to the wrong person to fix the issue then tell them we are not welcome after YOUR mistake. Please anyone with children looking to bring them for their school hair cuts, and to enjoy their first hair treatment do NOT use this salon use any of the other amazing salons up and done Andover that welcomed my daughter in afterwards when she was crying and didn’t charge.. thank you to the amazing staff at Robert jason who made all the wrongs right that weren’t even theirs to begin with

I don’t post a lot of reviews but I have never had a better hair experience than with Salon Beau. Sean is extremely knowledgeable and is always absolutely nailing whatever my vision is for my hair. Amelia has also hand painted my hair before and it came out stunning. The amount of training that his stylists go through make me so confident to trust any of them with my hair. Could not recommend this place more.

Richie went above and beyond. my hair was fried, uneven, and had a ton of damage. hadnt been touched in two years and was just crazy. Richie spent the time looking at my hair goals and discussed the process and maintenance with me. He explained what he was doing the entire time and was super professional. I have never had such an amazing experience. my hair came out healthy, hydrated and beautifully colored with so much dimension! Im floored. never going anywhere else ever again!

Sean has been doing my hair for 7 years now and I would not go to anyone else!!! I fully trust him with all my coloring and hair cuts. My new balayage looks so good I am so happy with the way it turned out.

I got a haircut today and loved it. Long layers and got rid of all damaged and split ends. Then they blew dried my hair and it looked shiny and extra healthy. Everyone was very nice and attentive there.

Sheer witchcraft is conducted at Salon Beau. I came in with major Salon-phobia, but desperate for a change, and looking akin to Mama Duggar from 18 Kids and Counting. I left feeling and looking like a hair model and as happy as the women apparently were in those 90s Herbal Essence commercials (OH YES!).Laura is basically the kindest, sweetest stylist/colorist and she LISTENS to what you are looking for and what will fit your lifestyle. Not only will you not be disappointed by coming here, you will be elated.

Sam at Salon Beau is the only hair dresser I’ll ever let touch my hair! She’s the absolute best, so nice and professional and always knows how to help me achieve my hair goals! I’ll never go anywhere else!

Salon Beau is the MOST amazing salon. It is so beautiful and chic and they keep the salon extremely clean. It is a trendy, modern salon. Everyone who works here are so nice and easily approachable. One of the stylist, Sam, is the BEST!! My hair comes out unbelievably perfect every time and it’s affordable. I always love it!! I look forward to each of my hair appointments because we chat the whole time about anything and everything and makes getting my hair done a great experience! I highly highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family.

If you are a new client, I definitely do not recommend booking here. I booked an appointment (basically through Instagram DM) because my previous highlights were too blonde for me and close to the root. I asked for a root smudge. Sean told me he could definitely do that and throw in a few low lights. When his front desk staff called me, they told me they would book me for a half balayage to give us extra time. They took a $50 deposit and told me it was to hold the reservation and that it would go toward my services. Not realizing the crazy amount of traffic at the time of the day, I was 10 minutes late. I was in the freezing cold looking everywhere for the salon, tried calling three times (but it went to the automated text service) which resulted in me being even later.. now at 15 minutes. After driving an hour, sitting in traffic, he told me he would reschedule me. I was angry at this point because I was doing everything in my power to get there as fast as I could. I sent an email apologizing for my tardiness and that I would like to re schedule at a later date. He said he would be keeping my deposit and that he needed a new one because I was considered a no-show. None of their policies regarding the deposit were explained over the phone.This is absolutely terrible customer service and poor business structure. There are so many accommodations that could have been done rather than to reschedule. In the unprofessional email he sent to me, he said I had blocked 2 hours because I was booked for a half balayage, toner, and hair cut. In fact telling me I do not respect his time. The hair cut part didnt even make any sense as I had never asked for a hair cut through Instagram DM or over the phone as I just received one when I got my previous highlights done. Terrible communication on his part. I would have been more than happy to leave with damp/wet hair, only pop in a few low lights, etc. as I understand there are appointments after me that need to be honored.As a salon that is sponsored on search engines, to bring in more business and new clients, you should be more respectful and hospitable. Instead of taking marketing classes, maybe consider guest relations and hospitality skill training. This is a true reflection of the salon in its entirety.

I see Samantha C at Salon Beau to get my hair colored a few times a year. I get full or partial foils and it looks amazing every time. I always have a great experience at Salon Beau, it’s cute, clean, and the staff are so friendly. Would highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to Chelsea for almost two years now. She always keeps the conversation about what I want and what I can afford very comfortable. She does a great job keeping my hair lighter than my natural color without it having harsh roots after time. I love that the salon sends last minute cancellation emails so I get a chance to be seen sooner if I want, which I usually do. I‘ve never had to wait past my appointment time, and the salon is always clean.

What is better than some time at the salon. I have VERY thick and long hair and Richie is always willing to fit me in, hours at a time, to make sure I look amazing! The salon itself is beautiful, very clean and they are all very professional. Keep it up Salon Beau and see you soon ❤

I love Salon Beau! I have been seeing Sam C. for over a decade for my hair and I have NEVER been unhappy. I have a reputation for being all over the place with my hair, with different cuts and colors, etc. I can be pretty high maintenance with my hair, as I want it to be fun and make drastic changes but also super low maintenance- which is a hard balance.... Sam has nailed it every single time! She did my hair for my wedding, as well as all my bridesmaids and my mothers- they all LOVED working with her. She really values her customers and listens to what they want while also explaining the process and maintenance needed to maintain just the look you are looking for (i.e. washing my bright red hair with cold water for a year!) 15/10 would recommend!!!

I got a bad cut elsewhere, and came to Salon Beau looking for HELP! Not only was my hair chopped and uneven but far too much length had been taken off.Samantha was AWESOME! I started following Salon Beaus instagram account a little bit before I became one of their clients. I was in the market for a new stylist after moving away from my former stylist and feeling like I was never getting what I really wanted from my former stylist. I absolutely love how clean this salon is and how friendly everyone is. One thing I really appreciate is that all of the stylists support each other. I primarily see Chelsea but have had to see other stylists at times due to scheduling issues. I gave Chelsea a heads up because I didnt want her to be offended if she saw me in with a different stylist and she was so understanding! I really appreciated that it didnt create an awkward situation.

Hands down the absolute best salon in the North Shore area. I have been going here for years, and recommend close family members, friends and co-coworkers. Salon Beau has amazing creative stylists. They are professionals but knows how to have fun. Their salon is very clean and modern. I love the decor in there. I also love my stylist Sam. I have been going to her for about 4 years and she is absolutely amazing. I have been to tons of salons over the years - Salon Beau being one of my favorites thus far.I booked a same-day appointment and the friendly receptionist called me shortly thereafter. Due to time constraints, prior to my appointment she and the stylist had me send in a picture and discuss what I hoping for in my hair. I was excited to share my experience because I finally feel like Ive found a salon I can keep going back to.Chelsea was one of the main reasons why my experience was so enjoyable. Even though I was a few minutes late, she greeted me with a smile & shook my hand. Shes so sweet and genuine but more than that, shes good at what she does. This showed in her knowledge and her work.TIP - enter the main entrance of the large blue building (next to Dominos) and go up the stairs to get to the salon. Highly recommend!

I got a great haircut here! The atmosphere was nice and the stylist really did her best to listen to my ideas. In end she gave me some suggestions and I ended up with an awesome cut.

Absolutely adore this salon and love Laura!! Everyone is so nice and professional here, but Laura has been a blessing for my hair. She tackles every challenge I give her head on and we both have so much fun exploring new options and colors. I love change and fully embrace it, I like to be constantly evolving, and Laura never misses a beat. She comes up with new ideas and always has my best interests in heart and isn’t afraid to tell me what won’t work the way I think. The salon is also so pretty and wonderfully lit. I have never gotten photos of my hair done in a salon but I get to get photos each time we mix things up! My hair has never looked more amazing! Couldn’t ask for anything better, if you love to be cosntatntly refreshing and exploring new colors or styles this is the salon for you!

Sam is amazing! Ive been going to Sam since she was at her salon before Salon Beau and followed her to Andover even though I dont live nearby. She is talented and listens to what you want and asks questions to make sure we are on the same page. I am naturally a dark brunette with course curley hair, but Sam has gotten me to all the way to light blonde while keeping my hair healthy. I aways book far in advance because she fills up so fast. Not only is she skilled, but she is honest and will make sure you arent requesting something that will look horrible. Ive never met someone who loves their job so much and is interested in keeping on top of the newest products and trends. She will never be out of touch. I even trust her recommendations on tools and brushes. Everyone at Salon Beau is this way. The salon is clean and honestly reasonably priced given the products they use. I dont post often but this is a place and a stylist i 100% recommend.

I have been going to Salon Beau for over two years now, and Sean is hands down the best colorist I have ever been too. He seemelsslesy covers my gray roots without causing damage, and does an incredible job cutting my very thick and wavy hair. Amazing staff and vibe as well.

I’ve been coming to Sam to get my hair done for YEARS, she moved to Salon Beau in Andover last year and I can’t say enough nice things about the new salon and Sam. The atmosphere is fantastic and all the employees are so nice and talented.Sam has taken my hair from fried over colored box dye years ago and saved it to the healthy head of hair I have now. I love the blonde balayage she did to my hair last month the blonde front pieces really pop to frame my face and the big chop we did helped change up my style. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair and refer her to all my friends. If you want a great cut and color experience she’s the one to call!!

Sean has been cutting and coloring my hair for years when he worked for another salon. Im so thrilled he now has his own salon. He is an expert with my wavy, frizzy hair that wants to do its own thing. He cuts it so that it is easy for me to style and looks super fashionable. I have recently had it colored lighter and I just LOVE it. More importantly, my husband loves it too! If your hairdresser doesnt listen to what you want, then its time to change and go see Sean!! Amelia and Megan are wonderful as well, although I have only had Megan for a blow-dry that lasted perfectly for 4 full days. If you want city style without the price, you have found your salon...

This salon is amazing in every way. My daughter and I were withOur salon for 5 years and the hair dresser that we have seen for those5 years just seemed that she just didnt care any more nor did she do whatwe wanted. My daughter had paid well over $400.00 to lighten her hairto the point that she could get the fire red hair that she has always wanted.But again our old hair dresser messed up again, and gave her very dark red hair. She came home in tears. She then called our old hair dresser to let herknow that she was very disappointed with her hair. Now she was in no way rude to her. She had just let her know that this was not what she wanted.Well our old hair dresser flipped out on her. And I mean lost it on her.So with that we stopped going to her.My daughter then found Salon Beau. Let me tell ya this salon is out standing!I have Parkinsons and pretty much given up on trying to do somethingwith my hair. And my poor daughter just wanted her fire red hair.So my daughter saw Laura and I was with Chelsea, my daughter toldLaura what had happen to her hair and told her what she wanted.And she was spot on. Not only did she get it right the first timebut the cut the style everything was outstanding!I had seen Chelsea, and let her know that I had just given upAnd left it in her hands to do what ever she wanted. I first discovered Salon Beau on Groupon back when Sean was in the little shop in Methuen!! I think I’ve seen all of the stylists for color or cuts and you honestly can’t go wrong with any one them! I’ve gotten my hair done enough times from many many places and I can tell the difference between a well done balayage to a botched one and I’ve NEVER been disappointed with Sean and the Beau crew. Their blending is fire. I also love that they have specials every month that offer different price options that you can feel comfortable with, you know, for those times you really want to get your hair done but you also need to pay for an oil change. You honestly can’t beat those deals - why not give them a try?!?! You won’t be disappointed!!

I made an appointment over a month ago for a color and cut and I was so excited, got a babysitter, get there and they don’t have time to see me. Are you kidding me?!?! Very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money here. If I could give zero stars I would!!!!

This salon is the finest Ive come across in a very long time! From the service to the final result everything is top notch. So much that I travel from Taunton to Andover for my appointments with Amelia. She is by far a highly talented coloring expert. Salon owner Sean is extremely friendly and accommodating. Erin is a great stylist and very knowledgeable! I am trying to go from red to blonde, which is a very tough task and my full balayage ended up turning pink. She explained my options and gave me the balayage deal for my next visit as well so I could afford to visit her again and reach my goal of going full blonde again. I love how professional and kind the stylists are at this salon and will definitely only be letting Erin touch my hair for the future!

Went in with a tragic looking Balayage/Ombre color and Erin fixed it and made it look even better than I could have imagined! I cant wait for my next visit!

Cancelled my hair appointment too many times, stylists keep leaving jobs and they call to cancel at the day before, they dont treat customers right. I have to go there 3 times for one appointment. And the last time , they werent sure what the other stylist did before. To this day, I dont know if I have permanent color or just glaze in my hair. I am not happy with the dye in my hair.

I usually just get quick haircut at a chain every few months. I wanted to treat myself to a salon experience and get a nice cut and some lowlights. About a year ago, I decided on this place since they were running a reasonable groupon and I heard good things about the stylist who runs the place. He was not the one who took care of my hair however. A girl who was his trainee did. He wasnt there. She was nice, but not good. She was extremely rough washing my hair, spent a lot of time chatting and being distracted by the owners mother (who was just free sampling from all the products and doing her hair in the seat next to me) and mixed up the wrong color and almost applied it to my hair except I stopped her. She was going to give me highlights when I wanted lowlights. I didnt even get to choose the color of those lowlights, and the color must have been so off that I didnt see them at all, even days later. I was overall very unhappy and didnt feel it was worth the price I paid.
