I have been a patient of Dr. Martins for more than 6ish yrs...all I can say is this...office staff that has been there for the length of me ARE AMAZING...Yes I have to wait but I wait out of respect bc I know that Dr. S Martin is going to take care of me...she is a phenomenal person...she has helped me so much with all of my challenges in life...Im so thankful that I have her as my psychiatrist...so for me the wait is well worth it, if she treats her other patients like me... then I know what Im waiting for...there is always something or someone u may not like or disagree with some of office workers, but Honestly, that is life...so go somewhere else,...that is all u have 2 do...In all honesty I think dr.( both) Martins for everything and more...

Both Dr. Martin and Dr. Cooke have been a great help to me. I truly appreciate everything they do!

My mother has gone to this practice. She has been prescribedd psychiatric medications by Dr. Susan Martin. The only information that I can find, states that she is a pathologist. A doctor of pathology is not a specialist in psychiatry. Representing otherwise is fraud. Shame on this practice for taking advantage of vunerable adults.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They are refusing medication to a bipolar person because he is out of state looking for a job... Its nothing to call in medication to a pharmacy here but they are refusing my brother medicine.. when i called to voice my concern the office manager was very rude.. you could hear the distain in her voice. Its not smart to take a bipolar person off their medication cold turkey especially lithium. Im not a doctor and I know that.. They obviously dont care about their patients. Hippocratic Oath??? all they had to do was give him two weeks of medicine and hed be out of their lives. I hope the practice closes

I have been a patient of both Dr. Ernest Martin and Dr. George Jones for over a year and a half. They are an integral part of the support team that helps me live a healthier and more balanced life! They are both kind, considerate, and compassionate; they genuinely care about their patients. They take time to hear what you have to share with them, and they assist you with great aplomb, sensitivity, and patience. I have grown so much during my tenure with these competent professionals. If you ever find yourself in need of their professional assistance, I highly recommend, without any hesitation, that you contact them. They have been an indispensable part of my life!

I love Dr E Martin, Dr S Martin, their NP and Dr Jones. They are compassionate and caring and are able to “ paint a picture “ of my personal needs in a way that I understand, the same as I do for my patients (I am an RN), thus there is a higher chance of compliance......I am an advocate for Mental, Spiritual, Emotional and Physical Health. I can now recognize in others similar issues that I deal with..... I share my story and my experiences hoping to break the barriers / stigma that goes along withMental Health......Sometimes you cant tell by looking at someone what they are dealing with....,This group is amazing in their abilities to get to the root of things and offer help....In my case, compassion and humor are very effective tools.....The front desk staff is very friendly and caring.... they are efficient and work well together..... It’s as if the whole office is one big family......I am glad that I took that step and made the call..... What a difference it has made...... Make the call, you won’t be disappointed 🙏❤️🙏❤️👍

Dr. Martin and Dr. Susan and staff are great. Ive never experienced this kind of help. Dr. Martin has treated me very well. He even visited me on a regular basis while I was in the hospital. I saw him everyday. Dr. Martin and his wife is the best team. I would definitely give him a 5 star rating. His office staff is like a family. They take good care of their patients. Dr. Martin is so knowledgeable. Hes real laid back and easy to talk to.

This is an awesome place if you are in need of psychiatric services. The apex of this business is excellent customer service and follow-up to ensure quality care is provided . Front office staff members are compassionate, empathetic and very attentive to the needs of the patients before they actually see their provider.. Dr. Martin and his clinical staff are excellent seasoned professionals whose main objective is to provide impeccable care to each patient. This is unquestionably a 5 star business.

I Always enjoy my visits with Dr. Martin. He and his staff are always friendly and respectful. I’ve been seeing them for a few years now and every new face always continues the pleasantness at the level of the bar the veteran staff has set. I have been with Dr. Martin over 16 years. He has always listened to me and helped me figure out things for myself. He is very good at things like that. After every visit I feel better. He has prescribed the correct medicines for me and I can live a fairly normal life. I would highly recommend him to anyone having problems.

My mother was a patient of his for over 20 years and now I have been with him and Dr. Susan for4 years..I have a cousin that works for him and we have become family know each other by nàme. Very Professional Office with great people working there.Would recommend him to anyone he has a heavy case load might take a while before you see him or his staff.

This by far is the best place I have gone to get help with my mental health. They have changed up my medicines a lot, but they were for the best and I feel so much better with what they are prescribing me. The whole staff is kind and caring and after my mothers death a few months ago they have been very helpful with the whole grieving. I love this place and the staff and will continue to go there. ^,^

When your doctor is yelling about you to her husband, knowing you can hear it, calling you a liar and insisting SHE DIDNT APPRECIATE WHAT I DID FOR HER, I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH HER ANYMORE - its time to find a new doctor. I would highly encourage you to find a different doctor.

Long wait time. Care is less than compassionate. Atmosphere uncomfortable. Havent been here in a long time and Ive finally got the courage to seek help again elsewhere and get past my experience here.

Could never get in touch with staff unless the answering machine was considered part of payroll. Most messages left unanswered aside from the occasional voicemail. Impossible to get refills on prescriptions without a visit even if you saw someone within the last week. The staff, aside from the front desk clerks who were generally pleasant and polite seem unhelpful and the answering service, who you are most often referred to after 4 PM on Mondays through Thursdays (their only servicable days) are also rude and prone to hang up. Thoroughly disappointed. Not that the other reviews arent any indication of what to expect.

Do NOT go here! I went in for an evaluation severely depressed, on the verge of suicide. They TURNED me away fog suicidal ideation. Their words. They didn’t even suggest the ER. I asked them in tears what I was supposed to do and they just gave me the name of the Anderson clinic. This man does NOT care about helping people. He just wants easy cases. Steer clear. I got in with a doctor at GHS. Much better

First of all, I adore Dr. E Martin and S Martin. They are both excellent doctors. They care genuinely about their patients. The problem is that they zero about when to arrange an appointment to where you can get seen without waiting sometimes up to two hours. Ive had appointments where Ive waited for hours o my to be told that Dr. E Martin had been called away to court and I could either come back later or make another appointment. Which for the record both options are to come back later. It is maddening. I cant take an entire day for a 15 minute appointment.

This man, Dr. Ernest Martin, and his wife-not-a-psychiatrist Dr. Susan Martin, endeavoured to help me and my father for a couple of years. Alas, they did not. My father lost a battle with mental illness on August 11th 2015 due to their incompetence. I believe these individuals could be decent physicians if they wanted to be. However, theyve long since decided to pursue a volume of patients in the name of $$$. Personally, Id rather drive my Chevrolet than drive a $100k Mercedes-Benz SL whilst knowing I destroyed a family and killed a good man. God have mercy on them.

I honestly have mixed reviews about the practice. As for the people who work there, they seem to be genuinely good people. However, that is all the praise i can muster. I have been waiting for well over 5 months to have my medication preauthorized so i can purchase my meds and not have to worry about the charity of getting samples from the Drs. Why would you put me on medication but have no intention of prescribing it to me? I have reached out to the Dr office on many occasions. However, i have never gotten thru to anyone. I have continuously left voice mail after voice mail and never get a call back. My pharmacy has tried on many occasions to get my medication preauthorized and they have been met wtih the same indifference and lack of response. As of late, i have resorted to calling my insurance company to see if there is anything that i could do to help facilitate my medication getting preauthorized. They were more than willing to help. But guess what? After 3 days of zero call backs by the Dr office and not being able to get anywhere with the situation, they too have given up.i beleive this practice is more about getting insurance money and people thru the door than they are actually about completing anything they have started. I am looking for another Dr as I have no more patience for incompetence.

I was told by Dr. Susan Martin that I was not a good fit for their practice.She gave me an official letter when leaving stating in writing that I could no longer make an appointment with them.I did nothing wrong.Then, one week later, they sent the same letter through U.S. Mail which I had to sign for.Dr. Susan was very judgemental as well.I do not recommend.They are not helping anyone, but themselves.

Worst office scam I’ve seen yet. You MUST come see the dr assistants to get meds no matter that you’ve been on them for years. This is to get money from the insurance companies and is terrible practice. The scam stops today for me. My appt was at 1 and my dr assistant isn’t even here, she had to run errands said the front desk. Oh so convenient as they knew I had a borrowed car. The selfishness and lack of compassion for patients is just amazing , I will never come back here

I love all the people at this practice! I have seen Dr. Ernest, Dr.Susan, and Karrisa! Im pleased with the staff as well! Ive seen both doctors go above and beyond what is expected of them. I saw Dr. Ernest carry a gentlemans prescriptions out to him in the parking lot because he forgot them and had a service dog. What other Dr do you know who would have done this? Plus, my husband forgot to ask Dr. Susan a question about some sample meds she gave him and we went back to talk to her, as she was leaving in her car...she saw us, stopped her car rolled down the window and smiled at him and asked if he needed her? These people are a group of amazing doctors,counselors, and office staff! I love you all...

This doctor is an incompetent sorry excuse for a physician he has no regard for patients and little regard for appointment times. ALWAYS late for appointments. he prescribes a cluster of medications that have ill reactions with one another. He has his wife see patients and forge his signature on prescriptions. granted she is an internal medicine doctor. she has poor knowledge of medications for someone with a degree in internal medicine. I loathe them with a burning passion. Dont come here if you value your mental health in any way shape or form...

I was to be a prospective self par patient there. Because i questioned why i should be in need of a referral someone in the office called me back and said I was not a good fit for their practice. I am a CPTSD patient needing help and i was denied by help by office staff.

Doctor Martin is a great doctor. I dont know what I would do without Him.

I like Dr. Martin and his wife Mrs. Martin they know what they are talking about. The only negative thing I have to say is waiting for hours at a time are unreal and unbelievable. But I would suggest to others because if you need an understanding of your mental disorder they are very good at explaining things in lamest terms. I just dont like how you have to wait for hours to see Mr. Martin but his wife tho she get you in and seen in very decent amount of time. They accept Medicaid but you miss your appointment and thats 25 everytime. I really dont like one of his secretary whatever she is she has a smart mouth. Asking to get cursed at by someone with a mental disorder.

I go to this doctor and he helps me with my medical issues, gives me the best medicine for my problems. I like this doctor and his knowledge for my problems. He is very helpful.

Went for testing a year and a half ago for reasons of false reports about me to a business. I had to go get tested, proove the reports were wrong and false. I went visited him around 7 times. Several appointments I was scheduled for 12:30 pm. He never showed up, and when he did, it was around 6pm. I waited, and waisted 6 hours of my day at his office for no reason.After the tests, I needed the test results faxed to the FAA from him. He never did. I called several times to ask him about it. Left messages on the machine, and his office workers. He NEVER returned my calls. I called for several months before giving up, and going to another doctor to do the same tests.I paid each visit $45.00, and my insurance was supposed to pay the rest. He never processed the insurance claim, and pocketed my money that I paid for each visit. .I gave up, dont have time to take him to court for fraud. I would never recommend him to anyone. He comes when he wants to, and you might sit in his office waiting for him all day.

This man literally saved my life. I was intent on ending it. Depression is the devil but he didn’t over medicate me or try to keep me in the hospital constantly. Instead he listened to me and he absorbed my feelings. He talked to me like a friend would and he advised me. He cared he really cared. He gave me his cell number just in case. And I used it a couple of times when I bottomed out. He has never made me uncomfortable or uneasy. He’s been there for me when my son died my dad died and my mother died. His wife is also a wonderful wonderful person. I can’t say enough good about them. I thank God for sending them my way!!!

My husband and I drove 45 min to meet this dr cause he was a referral once in his office my husband said he took a 10 min phone call during his session .We was at the office from 1pm till 4.3pm we will not be back...He needed his xanax intake to be dropped he didnt need more benzo drugs ,or ssri meds ...This dr needs new staff to cause the nurse at the window was rude too..

If it wasnt for Dr. Martin and his staff, I would not be here today. They have helped me over major obstacles with Therapy and Medication. I believe that they are Angels sent to earth to help humanity. Thank you for all you do. SP

Dr. Martin is a great doctor but when you have to wait over three hours (when you have an appointment) to see him... it really decreases my perception of him. His office staff is rude and disorganized, and they never follow through. I needed a prescription called in because I was out of medication, had waited over three hours for my appointment that I had arrived 15 minutes early to and had another appointment I had to get to. The receptionist said shed give him the message, I told her the medication and nothing ever came of it! I called the pharmacy and there was no Rx, I called them back the following Monday (they are only in the office Mon-Wed) and they informed me that they could not call that in bc I had not been seen in over a month. Well I would have been seen when I was there over three hours!! And thats dandy now that I already went over a week without my medication!! They are only open MON TUE and WED and dont open til 12 on MON which is just great considering that they never call you back when they say they will and before you know it, its Wed evening and you cant get a hold of them for another 5 days. I am so fed up. They do not deserve my money or my time. They dont deserve your business.

Outrageous! I call for an appointment and the Asian woman answering the phone would not give me the information I requested and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. How dare you go off on people who are calling for help.
