Matthew is amazing. His care and treatment literally saved my life. He goes out of his way to help you when youre in crises, beyond what youd expect from a therapist. Hes very knowledgeable, and is always working on improving his education and being up to date on new treatments too. I cannot say enough good things about him. I have been out of counseling for some time now, but on hard days, I still have axioms he told me pop in my head and comfort me. He helped me through severe betrayal trauma and did EMDR with me. If you are looking for a kind, understanding, funny, intelligent, with no judgement, counselor go see Matthew. He really is a gem.

I have really enjoyed my experience here so far! I feel Matthew really listens to me, and tries to deeply understand where Im coming from by asking meaningful questions. He has helped me identify helpful themes in my experiences.I feel like he tailors his advice and the interventions (exercises) he recommends to what will really help me. Ive made specific improvements that are having a noticably positive impact.One example:After discussing several recent marital conflicts that left me confused, Matthew helped me realize where I could do a much better job listening. Knowing I have ADD, he taught me about an approach for listening that could work better for me, and we practiced it a little. Since implementing his advice, my wife has brought up several times how much better she feels Im listening. I feel it too! She has started opening up more, and, based off our interactions, Im understanding more and responding better.

Matthew helped my husband and I so much and saved our marriage. To be fair, we both put in a lot of work but we couldnt have done it without him. We are forever grateful for his guidance, patience and expertise. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I had the misfortune of sitting across the table from Stephanie Gardner. mine and her first meeting went good the second meeting did not she acted as if she knew who i was and what i was about after two meetings thinking she had all the answers and knew everything so at the end of our meeting it turned into a pissing match on who know myself better me or her instead of asking for clarification on anything i said or my thought processes she thought i should think and act like her. so i would highly suggest you not take yourself or any loved ones to her she is closed minded and will not help but hinder any and all progress you make in a therapy setting she needs to stop my she is ahead.
