Dr Milligan was very professional and very caring. He listened to my concerns and gave me the results of my testing before I left. I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend him. His staff was very nice, and my wait was minimal.

Good listener and responded to each of my concerns. Very friendly (good “bedside manner”). Based upon concerns, made recommendations that might benefit in the longer term rather than going for easier, more immediate “fixes”.

Front staff, nurses and doctors are friendly and professional. Check in is easy and quick. I haven’t had to sit in the waiting for more than 15-20 minutes. Dr. Milligan is a very caring doctor who listens and adjusts medications as needed. I do not dread having to visit BSA.

I take my mother who has dementia to Dr. Milligan. He has helped her with her disease and meds. He is an understanding dr. Staff..well for the most part some are friendly. Some appt setters are rude. Appts are too far out in time. 6-8 months sure is a long wait to see the Dr. Are all neurologists like this?

Everything seemed efficient and professional. Dr. Milligan seemed capable, thorough, and I liked his deductive reasoning: if a tiny bit of plaque broke away somewhere in my vascular system and coursed through the vessel until it got jammed somewhere, why would it get jammed in the EXACT same location all three times, to cause the same speech imparement?

Dr Milligan was very patient and knowledgeable. However his staff is horrible especially medical records. His staff also makes him look dishonest. When the Dr tells you the records will be there on a certain day and there not. Means his staff is lacking. If you are a minority please stay away your treated like scum. Great Dr just needs to make staff changes

The most rude and most uncaring receptionist Ive ever encountered. Issue after issue and NO solution to help me. Apparently if you are seen by a neurologist in the er mr.mulligan will not see you if that helps anyone. And then asking this office to request your records from the er is like pulling a tooth out. They DO NOT REQUEST records!! I was told very coldly and rude. So I was going to have to go physically and get my records and bring to dr. Mulligan office . And also get a referral from my own physician when my insurance is covered and I have ppo coverage so if that helps anyone either. Because if you call you wont get any help just a argument why your wrong and this is how they do things maybe they are uneducated in insurance coverage. So back to dr. Sudakr I will go because his office is very helpful.and will point you in the right direction and they WILL request for your records so you arent running around everywhere trying to get them. And they WILL schedule you an appointment to be seen !!!! I would give ZERO STARS if I could but I HAD to give 1 star. I hope the dr is nothing like his staff!!!

Dr. Milligan is wonderful & I do recommend him, HOWEVER the people working in appointments are extremely inefficient and rude. They will bump the time of your appointment when it suits them and inform you the day before. If you don’t like it - oh well and if they’re put out with you then they’ll just hang up.

This office and staff is horrible! Tried to get my wife in and took 4 months and they denied her based on them saying that she no showed on 5 appointments when Dr. Lewis was there last year . My wife hasn’t seen Lewis in 3-4 years so they were making stuff up because they said it happened in the last year. They lady I talked to on the phone was rude and said that we can’t see and to find someone else. Not sure what it is with this doctor but it could be because our insurance is HMO or something . All he cares about is money and not getting people the help they need !

Had the worst experience with man phone scheduler. I called in to confirm my mothers appt for the day (appt we be waiting for 4 months). He told us in robotics voice that she had been rescheduled to Dec. and of course we were shocked and upset because our mother is very ill. He had no compassion or care in the world. This guy needs more customer service training! This man cared more about their policies and procedures than our disappointment of having to reschedule another 4 months for my ill mother. Very sad! Heartless!

I have a very rare, progressive neurological condition. I see a neurologist out of state who is a specialist in my disease, but I needed someone local to monitor meds, etc. Dr Milligan is a nice guy. When I saw him, hed sit back and listen until I ran out of words, do a few very rudimentary tests, watch me walk and then tell me to come back in 6 months. I decided I didnt need to waste his or my time with these pointless followups. I hadnt seen him for a year when I had a genuine crisis and desperately needed a doctors care. Dr Milligans nurse, Cindy, absolutely refused to see me or make an appointment until I had another referral, filled out new patient forms and transferred records. And THEN, I could have an appointment a few months later...As if theyd never seen me before! I literally begged her to let me see the doctor and after she very coldly refused several times, I hung up and called EMS to get me up off the floor and take me to the hospital.I really do understand the need for procedure and policy, but when a patient is desperate and in crisis, a little flexibility is called for. Are they treating paperwork or people?! Go someplace else. For safetys sake.

I was told Dr. Milligan would not see me because I had seen Dr. Lawrence Schaeffer, another Neurologist in Amarillo. When I asked why I was told it was against his protocol to see an individual who had already seen a Neurologist. I explained that Dr. Schaeffer said he was unable to properly treat my problem and to seek out another Neurologist. So I called Dr. Milligan and was basically told tough luck we wont see you, go Doctor shopping. O called the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic Administration, where Dr. Milligan works, and was basically told too bad, so sad, and basically to get lost we wont help you. Have never heard of a doctor refusing to see you because you saw another doctor. Go figure. I thought doctors took an oath to try and help people. I guess it doesnt apply to Dr. Milligan. I called the Potter-Amarillo Medical Society to complain and received the same treatment. I say shame on the Amarillo medical community. I am crippled and can get no help because I have seen a prior Doctor???????!
