When I first began with, Kindred in Amarillo, they were great.The first two Nurses and the part time Nurse we were assigned were just fantastic.. The Nurse that was part time was assigned to us full time when the first two moved on to other jobs.. For some unk reason they took her away from us and gave us another Nurse . I was told by the Nurse who was moved, that the new Nurse would be on same schedule or she would contact us.. This did not happened and the Office does not have her schedule on file. The new Nurse did not show up as we were told she would on our schedule the first day so I called an the scheduling Nurse did not have her schedule. Finally after a while ,the Nurse who was coming out called me and told me that she was not doing the same schedule and would come on Thursdays. No biggie but it would have been nice to know this. She was late on that first day and today, after two hours of being late , I called the office and was told said she was on vacation and someone else would come but they did not know who or when. Our nurse said nothing about vacation on the last visit.At one time, I would have highly recommended Kindred but now I would not . I am just greatfull that I decided to retire and stay with her so I can watch and can call for Ambulance if need be. I will be contacting other Agencies to see if I might move her over. It appears that Kindred has a problem with Supervisors not knowing what their personnel are doing and when. I am highly upset that they make changes and do not have the courteousy to notified the client.
