I was passing through Amarillo and needed something to get natural relief from a tension headache. The staff there were very kind, knowledgeable and informative of which products would be best for me. they had a huge selection of herbs and supplements, which was well organized and easy to find what you need. they even had a book about natural remedies that you could look through to be able to learn more about the products youre considering buying.overall, customer service was excellent, prices were very reasonable for the large selection of products that they offer.highly recommended if youre looking for affordable, natural foods or supplements.

I was just passing by and needed some cheese to make a sandwich. This placed showed up in search and guessing from the name, I went inside the town. I loved this store. Their store brand cheese is so rich. They do have many Indian items. Some unique items as well. On the way back, I detoured here from I -40. People working were so friendly and nice. I enjoyed shopping here.

I love shopping at Natural Grocers, now that Im on Keto and doing intermittent fasting, its the only place I shop for food and supplements. They have a rewards program, once you get a certain amount of points, youll save money on your next purchase. They have a very good selection of organic fruits and vegetables along with plenty of gluten free foods. They also have a large selection of supplements and powders as well as skin care products. They are not expensive and the couple extra dollars to put organic, pesticide free foods into your body is worth it.

I love this Natural Grocers because they have items that only Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s carries and it’s much more convenient to pick up what you need in person than having to order online which can sometimes be more pricey. Plus some of what they have is on sale and so in my opinion you can get things a lot cheaper than even the other health food stores that sell organic foods and supplements. Plus I like the people that work here compared to other Natural Grocer’s locations:)

Love this place. Reasonable pricing. Many interesting novelty products and helpful staff members.Every time Im in Amarillo this is a place I divert to for my gluten free, environmentally friendly grocery shopping.The only complaint if I had any would be Americas obsession with sugar. Many oversweetened products which only reveal themselves on label reading. Some nasty hidden ingredients that require time to discover.My suggestion for improvement: maybe have a cafe with organic locally sourced ingredients. Smoothies, gluten free produce are always a good choice.

Great store, but Amarillo Texas needs a larger one. The tiny store front isnt able to keep up. Im tired of them always being out of stock on important items like Natural Grocers chicken flavored powder thats vegan.

They have a wide variety of vitamins and supplements, for men and women. They also carry good salves and lotions, for cracking hands, different kinds of bath salts, skin care products and lip balms. There are more items, but that gives an idea. I havent purchased, due to distance from home, but they have a wide selection of organic and health foods. The staff knows where everything is, in the store and can take you right to whatever it is your looking for. They are also VERY knowledgeable about the different products carried. Each staff member I have talked too, could answer any question I asked. Impressingly enough, I have never seen an employee with their cell phone or using one. They stay engaged in stocking, helping customers and keeping store clean. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store.Bring your own bags, to carry home your products and groceries. They do not use paper or plastic bags.. They do sell reusable bags for your purchase(s), that are reasonably priced. They work good for other things once you get home. They do have boxes you can use, however, that are free for you to carry out your purchase.

It also has a large selection of fresh produce on the shelf that are not always available at other places. This is the best grocery shop I have ever visited in town for me. This is a place you have to visit if you need reliable products at a very fordable price. Highly recommended!

Store was okay. One staff member was enough to make me not want to return. He was rude. Had long hair that seriously needed to be put up, or at least combed. Little shampoo would help also. Only had on a faceshield, no mask. I went to the next checker and she couldnt of been any nicer. All the rest of the staff were wearing mask.

Pricey, but a good selection of quality foods. If I lived in the area, I would be shopping here often! As it were, I was able to visit 2-3 times as a quick aside for work, and get whole food meal bars, produce, and specialty beverages that I love! They also have an amazing selection of local and free range meats, as well as many vegan options!

Was pleased to see employees wearing masks & gloves, very clean store. It would feel safer if aisles were marked one way, as several patrons in Amarillo werent wearing masks. Great store!

Perfect store having everything I need ed at acceptable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful.I was definitely pleased that everyone treated my family well and did not discriminate, something we have grown accustomed to.The location is very clean and well maintained both inside as well as outside.

Words cannot express how much I love this store. Every time I come in I just want to buy everything in it. It’s a little pricey, but shopping for select natural foods and meal planning helps keep it within my budget. The staff are always super helpful, and I love the resources available in the catalogs and books. I have slowly been transitioning to a vegetarian/plant-based diet, and this store always helps me feel more confident in doing so. Love love love.

I love this place! If Amarillo ever, finally, gets a Whole Foods it will hurt their business but they handle a lot of my needs now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all seem to know exactly where everything is when you ask. Or at least thats been my experience.A little pricey but thats kinda how eating healthy goes if youre looking at it the a certain way. Think about it. You pay more for better product, you prepare and cook it yourself and you feed your family and/or have plenty of leftovers. Take the money you spend based on the amount of food that fed however many people however many times and compare that to an unhealthy meal eaten out at a restaurant. I think thats how youll easily be able to justify the cost because Ill bet youre actually saving plenty of money in the long run.

Really good stuff, but high on the price. Not a very big place but can probably find what you need. They wont carry all the good stuff, but I think they and order it from online.

Wonderful foods. Always delicious. Rather pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for. HOWEVER....I dislike paying for items I didnt buy! Check your receipts before leaving this store. Ive been here 5 times and have been mischarged twice, to the tune of around $8. Check those receipts! An EXTREMELY helpful and kind young man saved the day for me and helped me choose coffee.

Love this very clean, economical health food store. Produce is in good condition and the price is very competitive for in season produce. My only complain is that the woman who manages this store treats the employees so terribly. It is inhumane and makes me sad.

Love this place, we go here almost everyday of the week to grab something. All the staff is friendly and informative along with being willing to help in anyway they can. The fresh Fruits and Veggies are always clean and smell wonderful. Meats are never past their expiration dates. Great to have a “small market” in town.To Management: Please help the community by expanding this store. We need the cooking classes and health classes that are offered at other Natural Grocers. Also, expanded whole food area to have access to larger variety of health veggies and fruit. Better hurry before Traders Joe’s moves in and takes your customers!

Helpful, friendly workers. And a good selection as always! Some things are a but pricey compared to a regular store, but a lot of the time its worth it for the healthy quality. I usually buy my supplements online, but this store is handy when I run out of something and need it right away! My husband and I love to shop here, especially with his special diet! One of my favorite things to buy here is spices because I can buy in bulk, theyre organic, and theyre SO much cheaper than Walmart or other grocery stores!

Best organic grocery and vitamin and supplement store in town for the price. Very clean and helpful staff. I would trusttheir brands and have never been disappointed. They also have aromatherapy items and organic makeup items. It is a busy store for a reason.

Natural Grocers has many items you cannot buy anywhere else in the Texas Panhandle. Their staff is also very helpful and good spirited. If youre looking for a place that takes great care in maintaining freshness, then this is your place. They even refrigerate the majority of their nuts and other food items that are not easily found fresh in West Texas. Check em out! Ive shopped here for years.

Absolutely wonderful place! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and if they cant find exactly what youre looking for they will gladly help find an alternative. They have a wide variety of products to fit every diet from carnivores all the way to vegan and even paleo. I cant recommend this store enough!

Great place but a little pricey.

The store itself is fine, and the products it carries are sufficient in nature. The Udis line of gluten free breads usually have large holes throughout the entire loaf. The packaging hides the holes. When I contacted the corporate office, they wanted too much information to correct the situation. Although this is not the fault of Natural Grocers, they should intervene and help the customer in the process. Also, the bread itself is damn near 5 dollars a loaf. Most items are pricey at this store. The store manager is very rude to employees. I was once an employee at this location. I was in management and was basically ran me off. I took time off because of a back issue and was let go. The assistant manager was into witchcraft lol. If I had a problem with an employee, there was no going to either one of these mangers for help. They didnt have your back. They tried to write me up for refusing to run a cash register for which I was never trained up to that point. Also, they had me and my assistant set down for a meeting amongst us two and the two managers. He didnt do what was expected of him on my day off the prior day, but I was supposedly at fault. I would steer clear of this place for shopping or employment. Diane Howard should treat people better. Karma has a way of coming back at ya.

As a traveling vegetarian, it was great to find this place in Amarillo! Our cashier was very nice and I found everything in the store that I wanted! Just remember to bring your own shopping bag!
