I am a recovering covid pneumonia patient from September. Oct 6 was my 3rd visit….the 2 previous in Sept were covid related, and this appointment with an upper respiratory infection and ear infection. The nurse practitioner this time checked my ears and throat. She never listened my lungs or heart with her stethoscope. To me that should be standard practice no matter what….especially a patient recovering from pneumonia. But hey, what do I know.

The staff was super nice and very helpful. The best illness related visit Ive EVER had. They are the best.

The day I visited I was running a fever of 102. I chose this particular location because when I checked in online it said there were two people ahead and I could be seen at 1:45. I arrived at 1:45 only to find the waiting room totally full and there were numerous people waiting in their cars. The receptionist sent me to my car and said they would text me. After waiting two hours I went back in and she told me to keep waiting. Finally at 5pm I called again and she told me I could come inside. What good is an online booking schedule it you will have to wait over three hours to be sees?

Great group of people. Called for an appointment was at the building in 30 minutes and in a room 15 minutes later. Total time from original call to leaving the parking lot to head home was 1 hour.Great service!

The staff and doctor were very caring and compassionate. They made me feel seen and heard, even when I didn’t feel good.

I have been coming here for years. Its usually a quick in and out appointment with on-site lab for blood test. Very convenient for me and my husband. Dr. Cox, nurses and staff are awesome and friendly!!!! I highly recommend this place!

Online check-in at home for a covid test the next morning seemed a little laborious, but the appointment itself went very smoothly. Quickest results Ive had -- about half an hour -- and great bedside manner & advice from the NP.

Need to update holiday hours online. I wasted precious time on Labor day driving to your location because online your site indicated you were accepting walk-ins. When I arrived I was told no walk-ins and I should go to a non-BSA center.

Appt was super easy to make online BUT appt was at 2:30. There were only 2 people ahead of us per notification on website and we are still waiting and its already about to close. They even forgot we were in a room waiting for a nurse or somebody to see. Staff was talking loud enough for us to hear about other patients issues one being a man in lobby who is positive for covid...and were just here waiting. Smh just waiting....horrible service. Wouodnt recommend it here.

If only i could give less than a whole star !! was absolutely the worst experience i’ve ever came in contact with . i had booked an online appointment at 4 o’clock & they still had me waiting past 6 o’clock without giving me any prior advanced notice that patients were running behind . after i had already been waiting for 2 hours , i had went back in & they had told me it would be another 45 minute wait without even being brought into a room . i asked them if they did not think my time was valuable being a patient that is sick & all they did was make excuses . they said that all of the patient rooms were full but somehow only had a total of 3 cars in their parking lot ? i had saw people leaving , i assumed from finished appointments but did not see anybody being called back into the rooms ! there was not a single person waiting inside the lobby so they had absolutely no excuse ! i did not get to talk to a doctor , or any type of nurse , just the lady at the front desk that was absolutely unbearably rude ! she had told me that i had an attitude and cancelled my appointment without me saying that’s what i had wanted , after i had already been wasting my time for 2 hours !! i will never go or recommend any type of care express especially the one on georgia street. ive been to this care express before , & have never had this problem occur ! i will never go back from the type of treatment i received , while just trying to get some help for whatever sickness i have . when a business that closes at 5 still has multiple patients waiting hours after they’re appointments were delayed with absolutely no communication from the business , the business in itself is not being ran properly !! and i still left with no idea why i am sick or any type of help from this care express . i am in the same exact position i was in after 2 hours of wasting my time at the georgia street care express & treated like i was the lowest on their priority list . find somewhere else to go !

I Found My New PCP!!!! Went in to CareXpress because I had cut the tip of my toe off and needed care. I saw Patricia Turnbow and she was Marvelous! Took care of my wound in a fast and professional manner, all the while being carin and gentle! Thank You Ladies!!!

Great experience! Web site was very intuitive and allowed you to schedule an appt. Very short wait upon arrival.NP was very thorough and answered any questions. Front desk girl was very pleasant!

The care here is great! Unfortunately the online waiting list has been broken!! A new website is being used called Solvhealth.com. I can understand the appeal to the “business” side as this site holds a promise to keep staff from needing to do data entry. The failure is for patients!! The site offers an appointment time. After completion of 1st set of questions and photos front and back of insurance card the patient is then required to type in the insurance information. Then you’re forwarded to another page that again requires front and back photos of the insurance card. Then it says the appointment time is no longer available!! Guess what??? You now get to repeat the process!! Failure!!!

Other than having to wait in our car for 1.5 hours even though we had an appointment (and they were seeing walk ins) we always have a good experience.

My husband got in very fast and love the provider that say him. She was very thorough and addressed all his concerns. He would differently go back!!!

My appointment was scheduled for 1130 and I am writing this at 1245, still waiting to be seen in a near empty parking lot. 0/10 would not recommend.

They have made checking in online very easy. You fill out the paperwork before your visit and call when you arrive. As you sit in the parking lot be sure to face the door. That way you can watch all the people who dont read the sign on the door that says for you to call when you arrive do the walk of shame back to their vehicle.My family has had nothing but great experiences here and the staff is always cheerful and professional.

I truly love this place they are very good concerned about how you feel and wanting to make you feel better.

I made an appointment and its been almost 2 hours and I still havent been seen. The app has said there were 0 patients ahead of me for almost an hour. So dont use that as an indicator of when youll be seen.

All five of these stars go directly to Nurse Flores. Ive been treated by her twice in the past six months and she is the sweetest, most caring woman. She listens intently, is prompt, and just all around gets the job done. She cares about what I want, as a patient, and has done everything she can to make me feel taken care of. My son had his highschool football physical done. The staff was very friendly and we were basically in and out.

I had an appt. at 12:15 pushed back twice till 1:24pm.. at least could have gave us an option to wait inside.. instead I drove to united to use the restroom sat in their parking lot.. then waited in urgent cares parking lot..

They were super fast, and with online check in I could not be more pleased. (Especially on the weekend!) Everyone was super friendly and Tommy the nurse practitioner was very thorough and went above and beyond! Will definitely visit again should the need arise!

We were seen very promptly for a school physical. A very friendly staff member met us at the door to take our temp and ask COVID questions. Everyone else was very polite, friendly and efficient. Very clean-I saw 2 people sanitizing while I was there. Great place!

Outstanding care and concern for patients is the norm at Care Express on Georgia Street in Amarillo, TX. They are amazing and we were so impressed with the level of medical professionalism in this clinic displayed by EVERY employee!

Our family was exposed to COVID. We quarantined for a week, and then stopped the Georgia location to get a rapid COVID test. There were three of us, including a 5-year old. We didnt even have to get out of our car, and our nurse Nicki was just the best. We had the results in about an hour. Thank you, CareXpress, for providing the care our community needs!

Went to these folk on a referral. Went to the Ross location first and spoke with Deanna there who couldnt have been friendly or more helpful. We figured out they could not do what I needed at Ross so she contacted with their Georgia location and set me up to go there and forwarded all my info to them.I went straight there, they took care of me right away! The whole thing was a very positive experience!!

Checked in online and still had to wait an hour in waiting room after arriving on time. Once they called me into a room I was left for an hour, no one came into see me. I walk to front to see what was taking so long and was told they didnt know I was in there. The nurse said they thought I had left even though I never came out of the room and no one came in to check on me for the entire hour. They forgot about me completely. This isnt the first time they have left me in the exam room for an hour before a doctor came in. My appointment was at 1:30 and I checked in online and I was called into exam room at 2:40. I finally had a doctor come in at 4:00. Left at 4:30. My medicine was called into the wrong pharmacy not even the pharmacy I listed with name and address or told them when they asked me. This is one of the worst clinics you can go to especially if your in a hurry. Go somewhere else.

This was my first time visiting this office. I went to get tested for Covid. Upon arrival I was told I had to wait in my car and that the Dr. would visit with me via Zoom chat. Waited for 20 mins for a connection, they ended up just calling me instead and said that they would send somebody out to take swabs for Covid and Strep. When the nurses came out they only tested for Covid and when I called back they informed me that the medication they prescribed me would help with both. I went in on a Thursday and they said my results would come back by Monday. It is now Tuesday and still no results. My symptoms are gone and now I feel completely healthy. Still not allowed to return to work without the results. Furthermore they have sent me a bill for $250 when I have insurance and it was to my understanding that Covid testing was free AND I still don’t have my test results. I highly DO NOT recommend. Go elsewhere.

I got there on a Sunday, the Nurse Practioner said because it was Sunday they couldn’t do any testing, they would schedule an appointment for Tuesday evening to do a sono, I called from my car and the receptionist said I don’t even see your name, ok, then she found it and I came in for a sono, the gentleman told me that the radiologist would read it the next day and the doctor would call with results. Three days later the Nurse Practioner calls and asks if I need pain meds. What was I thinking when I went to this Care express? Express yes! Care NO!!! Easy money!!

I went in for my oldest daughter, she had a high fever. We set up a time online and only sat in the waiting room 5 minutes. They did a strep and flu swab and found out it was flu. I had my toddler with me and they were as worried as I was about her being exposed. So rather than having me set up another appointment to get her on preventive meds, they brought the paperwork back to establish her as a patient so they could do a check up and keep her healthy. I am so thankful, they were so nice and seemed genuinely concerned for my children and their health.

I walked in at 4:50 and no one acted like they were annoyed that I walked In 10 minutes before closing 🙈 Tommy Brian was excellent!! He seemed like he actually cared that I felt bad. He wasn’t trying to rush me away or brush me off. I got in and out quickly and didn’t have a crazy waiting time.

The wait was about 2 hrs!! Longest Ive EVER experienced here. Other than that it was fine.

I’ve been here many times and the staff is great! All except one of the ladies at the desk that acts like she doesn’t like her job. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Terrible communication. I called and asked questions before I even came in and was misinformed. When I got there I was misinformed again, got a useless ear cleaning that I didnt ask for, was prescribed medicine that didnt help at all, paid and was told that was all they needed, and was sent home. The next day when my symptoms worsened I actually had to call back to find out that IF my symptoms or pain worsened that I needed to go to the ER which I WAS NEVER TOLD BY THE ACTUAL DOCTOR. Again, I had to call back and ask to find that out. Weeks later I called to inquire about billing that was sent and was again given a vague answer.

The entire staff was super friendly and took amazing care of me! I don’t get sick often but I will definitely be going there in the future!

I have been there 3 times on weekends because my regular doctor was closed. Two of those have been in the past two months.Every time I have had an excellent experience. They have an X-ray machine on site and read them on site. Very courteous and efficient front desk. And the wait time was minimal because if the online check-in capabilities. The nursing staff was very professional and I’ve seen the same nurse practitioner each time (Turnbow) and she is exceptional!I highly recommend!

I am in Amarillo for work, got really sick so I had to go in. Went in, the lady up front helped me promptly and checked me in ASAP with a true sense of urgency, wait time was close to none and the checkup itself was quick. Dr. Flores was very nice. Overall good experience, Im not one who visits the Dr unless I absolutely have to, but I recommend this place.

This location has always put my health first.Defenetly not the one on Ross or Osage. Last time I visited they denied me because I had a balance. Never again will I visit them. Georgia location treated me like they care for my health they did ask me if I wanted to make a partial payment but never refused me.Thank you.
