I have never been to a dental office like this one! Every time I’ve been to the dentist, I have felt rushed and like I didn’t really have a voice in the decisions being made about my teeth. Dr. Austin and Dr. Tatum’s office is the exact opposite. From the women at the front office, to my hygienist, to Dr. Tatum, I felt cared for and listened to! They worked around my busy schedule and accommodated for my inconvenient insurance. As a new patient, I was asked comprehensive questions about my health, making it clear that they care about whole-body wellness and how they fit into the whole picture. I also didn’t ever feel rushed, which is such a big thing for me. When I was rushing to take out my earrings for the X-ray, my hygienist, Taylor, told me “Don’t worry, we have plenty of time,” which is so different from other offices I have been to. Every question and concern I had was listened to and answered with patience and clarity and after my visit, I got a dental plan explaining everything Dr. Tatum wanted to do with the options that I could agree with, disagree with, or ask to modify. I never felt pressured to do anything I didn’t want to do. I even met Dr. Austin when he dropped by my room and asked if I needed a blanket! My husband and I scheduled appointments for the same time and he had the same great experience! We would recommend this office to anyone and everyone!

My 19 year old daughter has had bad experience after bad experience with dentists in the past. She was terrified (to the point of tears) as we prepared to go to see Dr. Tatum for the first time on Wednesday expecting to experience another bad experience.We were warmly greeted as we signed in and filled out the new patient paperwork. After about two minutes with Dr. Tatum, my daughter was able to relax a bit. His kind and tender manner was unlike any dentist experience in the past. He listened to the concerns of my daughter and was able to address each one and make a plan of care.Thank you Dr. Tatum for listening and taking care of my daughters fears. For the first time in 19 years, she is not afraid to go to her next scheduled dentist appointment.

I was so scared to have a tooth extracted that I was literally shaking. The nurse brought In a blanket to cover me up. Dr. Tatum came and explained everything to me, to the point I was so relaxed. Dont get me wrong, scary, but Dr.Tatum was a professional and the way he did the extraction was doable. I will be returning to this establishment

I was so pleased with Dr. Tatum and his staff. They were all so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I needed a Dentist as I had a very bad toothache and needed my tooth pulled that day. I didnt have a regular Dentist, so just went through my phone trying to find one. No one could get me in that day except Dr. Tatums office. After filling out my paperwork I got in very quickly and he explained what needed to be done. I felt very comfortable. I would and will recommend their services to anyone.

Thank you to Dr. Austin and Maria. For the first time in about 10 years, I am able to eat solid food without severe pain or excuse myself from the table and try to fix things for some relief. Dr. Austin was awesome and Maria has the patience of Job. She worked diligently on my plate until It was placed and no pain. It has made so happy to not have pain and be able to eat without pain. Recently, he replaced a crown for me, and he and his staff did a great job caring for me and keeping me comfortable. He never appears to be rushed. He is good about following up with a call and checking on you if necessary.But what I appreciate most about Dr. Austin, was his kind, gentle, and respectful way of treating and caring for my daughter when she was a kid and teen.Steve Austin has been my familys dentist for years. I, Wayne Martin,hadnt had a personal Dentist in a few years. Ive been using Amarillo Colleges Dental Hygiene program to have my teeth cleaned. The last time I went I was told that I had a tooth I should have my regular Dentist check. The next week part of that tooth fell out. My wife called Dr Austins office since her Mother had been to him in past. I was very pleased to be told that Dr Tatum could see me almost immediately. I had to have a crown which Dr Tatum did. Im very pleased with the result. I now have a personal Dentist. For some reason this pulls up as my wifes account, Ive no idea why.

Dr. Austin has been mine and my family’s dentist for many years. The quality care of him and his staff has kept us in great dental health preventing dental problems. When I had to have wisdom teeth removed it was painless! I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience each time I am in Dr. Austin’s office, and now Dr. Tatum is also a wonderful asset to the office!

Dr. Delton Tatum and staff are great at making you feel comfortable and at ease. I had bad mouth pain on a Thursday and was able to get in to visit Dr. Tatum on Friday morning. He had x-rays done and found a bad cavity in one of my back teeth. We talked over the oppositions that I had which was three different ones. I choose to have a root canal done by the recommendations of Dr. Tatum the next week. He did a great job doing the root canal and making sure I was doing good during and after the root canal. Thanks to him and his staff Im back to normal.

It was the best experience Ive ever had with any dentist in Amarillo. Dr. Tatum was the most gentle dentist. Unbelievable experience. Phenomenal and very caring staff. I now can hardly wait to come back. Would highly recommend!

How many people can say their visit to the dentist for a root canal was awesome?, I can. Dr. Tatum and his staff did an incredible job, and I recommend them highly. Went to their office in quite a bit of pain, they took care of the issue and today I am pain free! If you are one of those folks who is leery of the dentist, Dr. Tatum and his staff will help you to get over that anxiety and a visit can be comforting instead of scary!

Took my 80 yr old mother (she recently relocated to Amarillo)for second opinion on cracked tooth extraction and cleaning. Dr. Austin helped us in back door where wheelchair ramp is. Sara did excellent job cleaning. Clean office, calm atmosphere, professional staff working together to provide special care. He gave us a treatment plan and referral for a complicated extraction. We found mom a dentist!

They didnt tell me what my pain was caused from and charged my debit random amounts without my consent on a bill that I was told would be covered under my insurance which they said they took. Well they dont take my insurance and billed me a lot of money- forced me to pay. Overdrafted me hundreds in the end. I would say go somewhere else until they can remember how to help people solve their issues instead of adding to them
