Kari has been my hairstylist for the last 3 years. Kari is so good, that I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Alvin called Karis Hair Unlimited. As for customer service-- Karis Hair Unlimited has top notch customer service. Everyone entering the salon is pleasantly greeted and welcomed by Kari or Matt. If you are a walk-in customer, they will bend over backwards to fit you in. Once you sit in the chair, you are treated like youre an old friend. You will be smiling big when Kari is done working her magic on your hair.

I hate to leave this review cause of how nice my stylist Matt was but I will leave it cause I personally looked at reviews and thought it was cool to come but I didn’t get anything close to what I wanted. Went in for a balayage and left with hair lighter in the front of my head then the back of my head. 20 volume toner made my natural hair lighter (that I wanted to be left dark) mismatched from the rest of my hair. It was very uneven. I had like blonde highlights in the front and pieces of copper in the back. I went to visible changes and they fixed my hair and did exactly what I wanted. I just wish when I went in here they were honest about being able to give me what I wanted. $95 that I wasted 😔

Very nice home feeling. Great stylist, very friendly environment. I absolutely loved my visit. Matthew did my coloring and I have no complaints. I would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation.

I needed to have my hair saved from my own scissors!🤦‍♀️😂Called and got an appointment with Matt. Not only was he very good and did a great style on my hair. He was entertaining and keep the conversation going!Matt is awesome ! I have already schedule my next visit! I highly recommend this wonderful salon!

So glad I found this hidden gem! Kari cut my daughter’s hair and then I went back to get mine cut. We both love our hair. She really took the time to do exactly what I wanted and prices are great too. Very welcoming friendly service!

I went in and had a good experience once with Kari about two years ago. My complaint is not about the hair service or her. I made an appointment for my son last week to get his hair permeD. The girl who made the appointment told me she would put him for noon the following Monday. When I took my son , Matt told him he didn’t have time to do his hair. So I told Matt that it wasn’t fair that he couldn’t get his hair done because a someone made a mistake and he just said flat out. I don’t have time to do it which is the bottom line. Is that it? So I just responded that is it. I feel like he was rude and unprofessional and extremely inconvenient for me who took him there to not get services but whatever. Just my experience!

Keri has cut my hair from waist length to start, the first cut was great after that the last 2 were an absolute mess, sorry but wont go back

This place is great! They had precautions in place for this Covid mess, so I felt safe and protected! Got my hair cut by Matt! He was funny and personable. Asked what I was looking for even made couple suggestions, I walked out with quality haircut I was very happy with! Can’t recommend enough!! Go see Matt and this crew!!

Awesome experience. Matt does a wonderful job. I have very dry natural curly hair and he treated it like magic. I was ready to let it it go gray, but now it is blonde again. Highly recommended.

Id been going to a different Salon, they werent open and I wanted something done now, so I made a same day appointment with Matt. Ill be going to him from now on. He trimmed my hair just right and was able to execute my dye job just as I wanted. What a great gem this is! After driving to Houston all these years for overpriced hair services, I finally gave this place a try. Ive never received so many compliments on my color as I have after Carroll put her magic color touch to my hair! This is now My Hair Place and I am so happy to have found it. The team is amazing and their work is phenomenal !
