Love this salon and especially Shelby. I discovered her and her amazing talent about a year ago and she is the stylist i go to everytime. My mom even loves her now. She is personable, sweet and truly loves her career.

She told me AFTER she cut my hair that she couldnt do what I asked for. Why would anyone think this was okay?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY LADIES THERE @ TGF HAIR SALON IN ALVIN!!! I have two different ladies that I have do magic to my hair. My two talented Beauty Magicians names are Irene and Crystal. When I have gone to either one of them, I leave extremely pleased. I also need to comment on all the other ladies there. I have been going there for years and have talked with possibly all the other ladies. I am not talking about only quick hellos. When they were in between appts., if I wasnt being worked on, wed talk. I also would see what they did to other peoples hair. I honestly believe that theyd make everyone happy from what Ive seen. They do their best whether you are female or male and all ages.

Wife had her hair colored and treated to remove hard water stains. They worked hard and she looks fabulous! Happy wife, happy life!

Staff isnt super friendly, they have a business attitude. Haircuts are okay.I asked for an angled bob and it looked good! But when I went back a few months later I only wanted a small trim. I wanted to keep the angled bob and most of the length it had grown in the front, which I told her. It just needed to be trimmed to reshape it. Well she cut my hair back all the way like it had been 3 months before, so I lost all my length. It was a good haircut, but she didnt listen and let me keep my length. If that were an impossibility then I would have liked to know beforehand.

Usually pretty good at what they do, Im a guy so Im not picky but i go in the morning to avoid waiting and I usually get in immediately.

This place is horrible. waited 45 minutes to get my haircut only for them to tell me they are closing and Id have to come back. went back a 2nd time only because they are the closest place to where I live and waited 15 minutes for a cutt and the lady said oh Im off for the night and the other lady wont be done for another 30 minutes dying some ladys hair. So thanks for wasting my time guys!
