They dont follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID vaccine booster shots or their own guidelines either. Also, they dont know how to give an IM injection at all, they went angled into my skin and injected it so slow that I started bleeding a lot afterwards. Never had injected site pain or bleeding with a flu shot before. Staff were unattentive and rude.

My friend just had the worst experience at this store. A female cashier at approximately 2:30 PM on 9/15/2021, accused her of stealing when it was the cashiers mistake. My friend went into the store to buy a few items, she ended up getting a tobacco product so the cashier had to retrieve it. Unbeknownst to my friend, the cashier never put the product in the bag so once she got to the car and realized she immediately returned to the store to notify the store associate. The associate, instead of recognizing her error, insisted that she had put it in the bag so my friend must be lying. My friend insisted that if the associate would just count the number remaining in the box that she would find there was an extra one (the associate has to open a new box for this item anyways). Instead, she had a manager review the camera footage. My friend was thoroughly embarrassed from this and of course the manager had the store associate give her the product because indeed, it was the associates fault. I think it is unacceptable that my friend was treated this way. Instead of re-entering the store for less than a moment for the associates mistake, she had to wait 10+ minutes for a resolution on something that was not her fault. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars is because every other time we have visited this Walgreens the associates have been friendly and knowledgeable. This person we encountered today is nothing like the other associates and did a despicable thing accusing my friend when she was the one at fault.

The drug store staff could not be nicer, but I waited over an hour for a flu shot and still never got it. I know theyre understaffed, but the pharmacy staff seems like they could care less. Would absolutely not recommend coming here for any of your vaccines.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. They do not care how long you wait. They have it set up so they deliberately do not have to see who is standing at the counter. Even saying hello over the counter does not garner a response from employees.

I had an appointment set for 8:45am to take the vaccine got all the way to the store for the Pharmacy hours to change. I got no notification from the store and the front desk cashier told me there’s nothing I can do but wait. Such a big inconvenience!

I am on Xanax for anxiety I called twice to make sure that I can get it filled today and was told yes. When I called the pharmacist and ask her why I told I could get it today and no one told me they were out she hung up on me. They are the worst pharmacy in the area I was Once told I had no insurance which is not correct and they charge me $40 again the worst pharmacy in the area

My wife suffers from chronic illness, and requires a number of medications to maintain quality of life. The staff here is very kind and helpful, doing everything they can within federal and state regulations to help us when we need it; refills are handled quickly, and the staff is empathetic to my wifes constant issues. There have been times where I was not at my best due to an issue with our insurance, and the staff here has handled my moments in stride and maintained a professional and courteous manner throughout. We are very grateful to have such a responsive pharmacy to take care of our pharmaceutical needs.That said, the Walgreens app is awful on my wifes account, though this likely has to do with a large number of varied medications (and medications that are exactly the same but from different doctors - think varied hospital staff & primary care here). She has text alerts set up and that has been quite reliable, but be aware that the pharmacy staff themselves do not typically call people to inform them that their medications are ready; this is handled by their automated alerts system, which is not always as consistent as it could be. Bear in mind that these issues have absolutely nothing to do with the pharmacy in question, and are only mentioned here for context.It is also worth noting that this pharmacy feeds the hospital across the street, so they are one of the busiest in the area. When I call for help if the app is not behaving, my problem/request is always resolved to my satisfaction. Very highly recommended.

Pharmacy customer service is slow, inefficient and does not communicate information. Rx was supposed to be ready at 11am, was told to come back, never received a call, and when I returned still had to wait 30 mins. Go elsewhere.

The pharmacy technicians at the drive- thru should not be alone at any time!..they are rude, not professional, and make *alot of mistakes, and just stare without saying a word...they make me feel insecure and act like high school students..In reality ...this rudeness includes all of the techs.**the management should take action immediately...these reviews say it all...People are eventually going to have to change to another location ...they look like they have a pharmacists at certain hours only...a pure disaster.

I always had great experience there but today the cashier ask me if I wanted to donate money for idk what cause they doing now.Is annoying when you want to go to a place and shop and someone always asking you if you want to donate then if you say no they look at you weird. IM TIRED of going to places where they ask you to donate money when I already do online.circle k.marshalls.now walgreens.i dont even go to walgreens cause they expensive i always go to Walmart but now the first time i go to in a while.

Esteban the store manager would not return an unopened item without a receipt which is now the per policy after I was advised on the song the night before that I would be able to return this item for store credit Esteban needs a lesson and customer services etiquette. my wife and I have been customers of this Walgreens locations for quite some time now due to its location and proximity to our home I will it be advising my family and all other family members never to return to this Walgreens again I will pay the difference for their travels to go somewhere else

I have recently changed jobs so I dont have insurance at the moment. I went to the Walgreens pharmacy on Maitland Avenue in Altamonte springs where I always fill my prescriptions. When I was told how much my meds were going to be without insurance I almost passed out and was realizing that I was not going to be able to fill them. The young lady helping me Sylvana asked me to hold on one second... she then went out of her way to find discounts on my meds which brought the price to an amount I could afford. Then while I waited to have my meds filled I observed her interaction with all the customers and I cannot give enough praise about how kind, understanding and helpful she was with everyone! I just want to say that she is an awesome employee and just an all out great person. I am very grateful for her help and to have met such a great and kind person.

Pharmacy staff refuses to properly fill scripts. They promised me two weeks ago to fill my script and today I spend 30 minutes arguing with a pharmacy tech to get it filled. Also two weeks ago I gave a tech my new insurance card. Now Im told it isnt on file. Incompetent staff??

Didnt fill my RX ,said I didnt have refills. I explained I brought it in 3 months ago. She looked again and said she found it but they are NOW closed so come back tomorrow. Clearly they are at fault but refuse to correct it. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Gave 2 stars because the regular Pharmacist is a great guy - but the assistants are worthless. Pharmacy assistants here have the personality of wet dirt. Fill a prescription and sometimes they have your insurance information and the next time they do not. Use the automated phone to fill a prescription and half the time it is not filled.

The pharmacists here are rude, nasty and fill prescriptions at their own discretion. They do not care what ailments you have and they do not care about the care your DOCTOR has deemed is right for you and your condition. They are not doctors and they do not have the right to veto what the health care professional you see on a regular basis has given as proper care. They are horrible and corporate does nothing about it. ABSOLUTELY. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Bad business. Good Faith Dispensing policy is a nice way of saying we dont fill prescriptions unless youre a pretty white girl or a senior citizen. That is called discrimination. Pharmacist need to step down from their high horses. My doctor will decide what meds I can and cant take. Not a bean counter.

Assistant store manager LINDSEY and cashier WENDEE are so rude and prejudice at WALGREENS at 113 Maitland Ave Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. They were acting and showing racism towards me and even had another customer using racial slurs towards me as well over some COUPONS and me PROVIDING FEEDBACK to LINDSEY about WENDEE in which this is her 3rd time being rude to me. She called Lindsey to the front as soon as she saw me and argued with me in front of LINDSEY who took WENDEE side, advising me that I can only use 1 coupon instead of the 4 allowed coupons Walgreens allow per customer. LINDSEY was acting very unprofessional, screaming at me, over talking me, being racist and did not want me to shop at her store. She was using hand gestures, acting violent and aggressive towards me. I had to ask her to put her hands down because I was afraid that she QUICKLY FORGOT SHE WAS AT work and was about to try and attack me all over some COUPONS, PAPER TOWELS AND SOME TIDE PODS. LINDSEY DID NOT SHOW EMPATHY WHEN I EXPLAINED MY CONCERN TO HER FROM THE START. I HEARD THAT WALGREENS JUST MADE THEIR EMPLOYEES TAKE AN EMPATHY CLASS which obviously isnt being put to use, this is so DISAPPOINTING! It makes Walgreens look like a racist unprofessional company. Its so sad that Walgreens just hire anyone to work for them and this is an example of your company....Your managers got your customers arguing and being prejudice. I will not be shopping at your store, there are other stores who have the same items for a better price. I will be reporting this company to consumer affairs and the BBB. Pharmacy female tech taking too long with one customer, never acknowledges me and 4 customers get helped in drive thru until they are all gone. Still nobody helps me. I ask should I go thru drive thru, she looks at me and ignores me. Learn customer service, second time I have had worthless help from this dept. Transferring to different location. Stay away

If I could give them less than one star, I would. Every month, it is the same thing. They tell me my prescriptions will be ready in an hour, I go back two hours later and still have to wait at least 30 minutes. I wouldnt mind if they wouldnt lie to me in the first place and have me make a wasted trip.

Customer service could do better. I literally came thru in a rush to purchase a few items and considering you have discounted a few. I was never asked if I want to sign up for walgreens member ship to add to my discount so my total came out to be outrageously high. Cashier rung me up in a hurry without considering to help me further. So I guess I will have to drive further away to get service from another walgreens. Thanks so much.

Slowest pharmacy. Dropped off a prescription at 11am. Returned at 6pm. They had to search for the script then told me to wait 15 more. Mins. Guess that quick run in will have my icecream and milk nice and warm :( Horrible

This pharmacy is THE worst! Nobody knows what the others are doing, one pharmacist says one thing and another says the opposite and the poor techs, who knows what’s going on there?? It takes on average 10-20 days to get Rx’s filled from my doctor if they change the dosage or frequency. The male pharmacist I just spoke with (and the 5th pharmacy staff member I spoke/met with) told me the female pharmacist’s instructions were “her business” had nothing to do with him and that any conversation she had with my Dr was “between them.” I spoke with my insurance company 2 days ago to ask what was going on (thought perhaps it was an insurance issue) and they told me that everything had been pre-approved (provided the approval date) and said all the pharmacy had to do was call them to receive an override code and the other one, they could override on their own. This was needed because they took 2 weeks to fill my last prescription (and the ones before that and so on) so my regular monthly Dr’a visit and refill dates no longer match up. It’s literally been 10 days since I dropped off my prescription and they were faxed the others and STILL nothing. The man on duty today would not apologize in any way, shape or form for the handling of my medications or any miscommunication or wrong advice I had been given by his staff. He acted like he was doing me a favor by filling one of my prescriptions that had been pre-approved and overridden by my insurance company for me to take twice daily, instead of once daily. My doctor and insurance company literally agreed that I needed to take this med twice as often and this pharmacist acted like it was completely at his discretion to fill it or not. I 100% will be switching pharmacies with my next prescription.

The pharmacy is always closed. They need to inform their costumers when they are closed. I dont understand why they close because the Pharmacist isnt in. I use to go to the CVS on 434 and I they were never closed. I dont understand why I cant pick up a prescription when the pharmacist isnt there. This pharmacy pisses me off and has the lamest excuses as to why they dont fill prescriptions.

How upset was I when I took my little sister to the ER for an ear infection in both ears. We were discharged at about 11:30p and was advised by our nurse that we would need to get to the Wal Greens by 12a to fill prescriptions. So we get there at 11:47p after meeting with the billing department from the hospital. The Pharmacist on duty advised that he could NOT take my sisters prescription but we should drive 30 minutes away to Apopkas 24 hour pharmacy because he had 17 Prescriptions to fill already. How was that our problem? My sister was in severe pain and was crying. Sureish or Suresh whatever his name is with the messed up teeth denied her service and blamed it on the work load when in all actually he just really didnt want to do it. We were able to have her prescriptions filled by the most AWESOME pharmacist at the Apopka Wal Greens. He was helpful and even gave us tips to getting more discounts with GoodRx. He was amazing. Word to Suresh if you dont want to fill prescriptions you shouldnt have chosen a profession in pharmacy!

I am truly appalled at the lack of consideration that this pharmacy showed my father today. (2/5/2015). My father who is about to turn 73 had surgery to have two (2) cancerous tumors from his bladder at Florida Hospital Altamonte. My father was in a great deal of pain and a his doctor left a prescription for a pain medication to assist him. However, he happened to write on the bottom of the narcotic prescription that the other prescriptions had been faxed to Publix. Those would be the antibiotics he will have to take for the next 2 weeks. Walgreens on Maitland & 436 have an agreement with the hospital called bed side service; they accept faxed narcotic prescriptions from the hospital and deliver them to the patient and then they are given the hard copy for the files. When the pharmacist who would only provide her name as Ally B read the doctors note on the bottom of the page that the other scripts were sent to Publix she refused to fill the pain medication. She informed the nurse that I could cancel the Publix prescriptions and have them transferred over to them and they would then fill them all and bring to my father. REALLY???!!!!.... Walgreens does not accept my fathers insurance (Tri Care for Life) which means I have to pay cash and full price. Publix on the other hand not only accepts the insurance the 1 antibiotic would have been FREE... So basically I was going to have to come out of pocket with over $50.00 (not a whole lot of money) because the insurance would not be accepted. So lets consider this......I can pay $10.00 for the pain medication from Publix (insurance co-pay) get 1 antibiotic for free and the other was only $3.00 or I can transfer ALL medications to Walgreens and pay more than $50.00... the narcotic alone was $30 + dollars...Needless to say I declined and took the prescription to Publix on my way home while my father waited in the car.... Of course as the day would have it... they did not have it in stock. So now I am stuck having to cancel the other prescriptions to bring to the Walgreens to have them filled. All because they wanted money... Yes that is the only thing that sounds plausible. Why else would they force such a situation.How sad that a store who when you leave says Be Well only came across as inconsiderate and money hungry. Even more of a shame for them is now they will get no future money from me or my family. I have removed myself, my husband and my daughter from the pharmacy for any future medications.... I have no interest in contributing to the lack of regard, concern and inconsiderate actions that your store has provided to my family, I will no longer stop there for a soda as I would rather drink from the reclaimed water spout than give you a dime.....I hope that your store is proud of itself and the actions you chose to take. I also hope that anyone that reads this makes sure if you have a script from a surgery being sent over to make sure the doctor does not write there are other prescriptions elsewhere otherwise this Walgreens will have no desire to help you unless they get ALL OF YOUR MONEY

I arrived at 330 to the Health Clinic and was refused service for my child so I took myself to CVS clinic and will not return. Turned out my son had an ear infection. Make closing 330 instead of 4pm on your website.
