Super disappointed with the care I have received. I feel like my symptoms and health issues were not heard. Dr Quan is impersonal, I requested a call to speak with him directly after seeing him twice and taking every piece of medical advice and following through with EVERY referral. I don’t understand what is so difficult about calling a patient to check on their status, most definitely after they have made the request. Ridiculous! Very, very disappointing!

One star even I won’t give it .I went to this place because of the pain in my left shoulder, and some skin itch .because the appointment here can be made 1-2 days in advance.the doctor is finish 2-3 minutes after entering the room. He asked a few words, pretended to examine my throat and listened to my heart and back, and referral an x-ray list. For my left shoulder pain and restricted movement, I asked ibuprofen to be rejected and just let me go to the pharmacy Buy adivl. And 1%hydrocortisone cream. What kind of doctor is this? If Advil and Tylenol can be useful, why do I need a doctor? How can such an irresponsible person be a doctor? I will never go to this place again.I Came United states 20years ,this is worst person for the first time met. Even I won’t call him a doctor.I dont believe he will have some 5 stars reviews . I seriously doubt that authenticity of 5 stars!Later, I went to dr. Phillips medical wellness center at 2915 lakeview drive .The doctor there was very professional, patiently inquired and checked the condition, and gave prescription drugs (ibuprofen and some ointments for skin allergies) .

I have been a patient of Dr Nguyen for about 1 years. He is a good doctor, but he is missing some human in him. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday to follow up on my condition. His office assistant sent me the paper on Wednesday for blood work for Mondays visit. I completed the blood work. Today, Friday, received a call from the office assistant stating that my blood work was normal. She then proceeded to tell me that the Doctor no longer wished to treat me because I missed 2 appointments. The first was in October. I remember, I did miss it due to a sudden family death due to COVID. I was grieving. The 2nd appointment, I sent an email to cancel. But instead of charging a fee as other doctors would, I was just told he would no longer be treating me. I felt abandoned. I asked her if he could make an exception and she said no. We are trying our best. Especially during these trying times. Being a little human goes a long way.

My husband and I have visited Dr. Nguyen on two separate occasions. When my husband visited in June, Dr. Nguyen was so great. He was very thorough, a great communicator, and you really feel like you can trust him. When I visited Dr. Nguyen for slight ear pain, I assumed my visit would be basic and I would leave with a prescription for the pain. I was very wrong. Dr. Nguyen determined that I have an ear infection, but he didnt stop there. He proceeded to tell me that he wanted to remove some excess wax and that it would be uncomfortable. I have had excess wax removed (as a teenager) and it was NOT painful. When Dr. Nguyen did it, I was screaming in pain and bleeding from both ears. I was uncontrollably crying for 2 hours because of the pain during and after the procedure. After 4 soaked tissues, my ears didnt stop bleeding. Its now been 28 hours since the appointment and Im still bleeding and in much more pain than I ever was before.Dr. Nguyen failed to communicate what he was doing, how he was doing it, and what it would feel like. He didnt acknowledge my pain at any point and just kept going. I was in there for 45 minutes while he kept scraping the inside of my ear even though both ears were bleeding excessively.Im still unclear why it was necessary to remove wax if I had infection. Its also unclear why I wasnt given any numbing medication during the procedure and why he thought it would only be uncomfortable.I received a second opinion from a doctor and she was shocked and appalled at how Dr. Nguyen handled this situation. I really felt like I was going to a great doctor before and now I regret choosing to go to Dr. Nguyen. If you have an ear infection, take caution and bring someone else with you to the appointment.

Best family doctor in central Florida. Listens, takes time to understand your condition and is compassionate. I ended up visiting few minute clinics near my immediate area for a throat infection that wouldnt go away and given treatments options that did not resolve my condition and worsened with the duration/time that was really necessary. Decided to ask for second opinion and visited Dr. Nguyen - long story short, 15 hours later, my symptoms are almost completely gone. Thank you so much doctor! Office staff is extremely professional too.

My husband goes in for his yearly physical . At the end of the visit he asks the receptionist if any copay or anything is due she lets him know that nothing is owed . A week later I get a bill in the mail for $123 . I call to discuss it . And the billing lady tells me because my husband mentioned having a headache that the doctor coded it as a “follow up “ visit and therefore I was charged $123! Follow up to what ??? My husband hasn’t been to the office in over a year . It was his first time this year for a physical! Terrible experience ! Unfortunately will have to change my husbands primary care physician since it is evident that this offices want to code visits incorrectly to up charge the patient . Very disappointing . My husband will not be “following up” with this office anymore !

I was referred to this doctor after a visit to the emergency room, and I must say I have never had a better doctor, I had high blood pressure and did not know it, I was alway tired, having sleepless nights and just not feeling well overall. On my first visit I was not very impressed with some of the staff but was very comfortable with Dr. Nguyen. After some test and blood work he gave me medicine for my blood pressure, and I have not felt this good in about 4 years, I am now able to do my morning exercises, I have a lot of energy and I sleep great at nights.

Unfortunately I never met Dr. Nguyen as the office staff was incompetent. I am in a difficult situation with my insurance and am understanding of the out of network issue. However my insurance does cover this doctor, as well a many others in the area. The issue was not the insurance as it was the attitude and willingness to help of the staff. I had called, obviously, to set up an appointment and explained the situation prior and was assured they would see me. Upon arrival I spent an hour listening to 2 (two) of the three staff members angrily argue with an automated system until the finally gave up. They GAVE UP. I took my information back and left knowing I was not worth it to them.As far as I know Dr. Nguyen is great, he seemed polite and understanding when interacting with patients.Desk staff however is less than helpful and will waste your time if there is something slightly difficult or different to deal with. Unprofessional.

I called my insurance company out of frustration as no doctor could see me for a month or more. Dr. Nguyens staff was so courteous and helpful and got me an appt. the following day. Dr. Nguyen was as awesome as his staff, very thorough, very attentive, just an awesome doctor and his staff is equally as awesome. Great to see real doctors still exist and customer service is still alive and well!!!

I called for an appt as a new patient and to have some routine blood work completed for my new insurance with my new employer. As with all insurance, you get one physical per year free. I expected this to be billed to my insurance that way. When I received a notice from BCBS that my deductible was being hit I called right away. They instructed me to call the Drs office who sent me to billing who told me the claim wasnt final yet and until it was they couldnt do anything, but theyd note my file and I should call back to check up on it.A month or so has gone by and I received an invoice from the Drs office for the initial and the followup visit when we reviewed the blood work for my physical that Im also being improperly billed for. I called the billing office to go ahead and straighten it out. They said that it is being billed as a diagnostic, which I refute. I never asked for treatment, i asked to be seen as a new patient to have some routine bloodwork done for my insurance. She agrees to call the Drs office and see what they say. I got a call back saying they refused to make a change, that I was being seen for a rash and allergic rhinitis which is wholly untrue. The only reason I ever mentioned either of those things is as a part of my medical history that I was giving as a new patient and only after the doctor ASKED me if I had any ongoing conditions and suggested allergies. I did not ask for help with any of it, except to get the blood test results to give to my new employer. I was told that there was nothing the billing office can do so I asked to speak with someone at the Drs office. I was directed to Christina who says she spoke to the Dr. and that he reviewed the chart and that he refuses to make a change. She patently refused to make any adjustments based upon what I had to say, stating that it is the doctors decision not to change it. I remained professional albeit started to get very upset and Im sure she could hear it in my voice. I simply do not understand why what appears to be either a misunderstanding, a clerical error, or a combination of the two should be so hard to change. She just got increasingly annoyed with me which was apparent in her tone. I asked if I could speak with the Dr. and was told he will call me back when he can but there are no guarantees as to when that might happen. Her tone indicated that he probably wouldnt bother. This kind of treatment of a new patient is outrageous to me. We as patients shouldnt have to make sure we use just the right terminology in order to ensure that we are billed properly. The physicians office and the physician should be able to work it out based on what we say, or they should be asking for clarity when were there if theres any doubt. I feel like this physician and his staff are taking advantage of people by doing this. I work in human resources, Im familiar with the terminology. If I didnt say just the right word to just the right person at some phase of this process, it should have been straightened out along the way.I will never go back to this office, and suggest you dont either.

I went to this office because it was listed as a provider on my insurance, and their website said they accept walk ins. I had strep throat and I need to see a doctor to get antibiotics. I was not impressed with the front desk staff. I have never felt so unwelcomed in my life. They were huffing and puffing when I walked in, acting like I was a burden. Needless to say I am taking my business else where.

Dr. Nguyen is a great doctor. I see him a few times every year. Extremely patience and polite. The diagnosis is mostly right. The front office is also very kind and efficient. Every time i call there is always someone around talk to me. The only drawback is im afraid he is gaining popularity and appointments will be harder to come by and perhaps less time with you. He will be my pcp until well..i dont trust him no more. I referred my gf and in the process of my parents as well. Hope his Vietnamese is decent.
