Dr.Joel and his associates are THE BOMB!!!Easy to talk to. They treat me like I am family. You can talk to any of the doctors, nurses and staff and they genuinely care. I love this group. We laugh, we talk about silly things an serious too. You will not find a better group. Every doctor should take notes from this office. They would learn how to be successful caring human beings.

Very very discouraged w/ situation at this office! Dr. Ken Joel is very helpful and seems like a fine Doctor. My complaint is w/ office staff who evidently hold greater authority than Dr. Joel in releasing patients. I was dismissed by Wendy yesterday bc was told was aggressive over phone to agent Kristen when I tried to reschedule appt. bc of conflict between MRI/ CT of brain and a monthly medicine chk w/ this office. When explained this to Wendy,, she actually “finger wagged” me suggesting I do better job of medical management. Nobody even asked me what happened during phone conversation w/ agent Kristen. Tried to rebook appt. once conflict became evident - told nothing for 2 weeks. Nobody likes having to use pain medicine but if needed you should not be “”shamed” or pu off for 2 weeks - completely unethical to expect stopping meds like this as a “punishment” for prioritizing medical happenings - still shocked that anyone would suggest a medicine check should be more important than brain scan when you are having lapses in consciousness…. Doubt Dr. Joel even knows about any of this. Asked for e-Mail so could voice complaint to Dr. Joel but Wendy would not give me Dr. Joel’s e-Mail told me to send email through Courtney ( another agent) and she could forward. Really folks !!! Be very very careful - was “fired” as a patient upon “here say” never even asked what happened!!Told was aggressive- I was / a m frustrated - yes but aggressive ( over phone) - C’mon… listen to taped conversation- Unbelievable!!

Wonderful doctor, always a pleasure to see Dr. Joel, love his personality, I drive from Augusta ga, just to have Dr. JOEL treat me. Hes the best.

Dr. Joel is the best. He takes the time to hear what is going on, reviews some different ideas, gets your input and can be an out of the box thinker. His colleagues are also excellent and can fill in on your care without a bump in the road. His staff, the best. Dr. Joel and his staff take the time to follow up with you. I get outstanding care. You can bring up ideas and explore different options. I have been to other Pain Centers, going to see Dr. Joel was my best solution for long term chronic pain and a body that is breaking down.

Dr. Joel is surely a top pain management doctor, He took his time to review my scans and discuss my pain source. He treated me with top respect, and spent good time analyzing his approach for how to treat my pain. He spends the time to explain the pros and cons to questions I ask, and was absolutely personable, never rushed. His vast experience is evident with the results I get from treatment. I very strongly recommend Dr. Joel for your pain management needs.

The staff, nurses, and Drs are the best in the city. My mother is 87 and she was refured to Dr. Joel , who spent 30 minutes just finding out all her issues, so he could properly treat her. She has seen all the Drs , and they all are actually the nicest Drs she has ever been to. They care about the patients. What a difference. This is not some pain clinic, its a experienced place , that finds out whats going on with you, so they can treat you properly.This is like no other Drs office. A+

Dr. Joel and his team of doctors and nurses are total perfection. I have severe Degenerative disc disease and living in the mountains of north Georgia aggravates this problem. The 95 mile each way to have Dr. Joel, or any other doctor give me injections is not a problem. The staff is amazing and they always seem to get me into see the doctors when I need it the most. I highly recommend Dr. Joel to anyone who is in pain. He and his staff a truly a blessing from God.

NO STARS. He talked to me disrespectfully and wanted to know how high I got from the pain medication which was very low dose (which Id never taken before for my MS). I had to go to the ER and they gave me some medication which I needed to fix my heart rate from some steroids that my other doctor prescribed. His office at his command was cruel, mean and physically removed me from the office. I had never taken pain medicine before and they accused me of being a drug addict! It took me over two years to recover from that horrible appointment!
