This Red Cross Center refused to honor my 9:30 am appointment that was made on the same day! So I guess they do not accept walk-ins. No one was waiting to give blood! There was two people on tables donating blood at the time! This was very annoying after receiving numerous emails and phone calls from the Red Cross saying there is a severe blood shortage!

Was not able to donate because I was 7 minutes late and they have a “grace” period of 5 minutes for the last appointment, which I unfortunately discovered was my 2:45 PM slot. Totally their right to turn me away; just very disappointing since at other blood drives, the whole process takes up to 90 minutes with a lot of just sitting around and 5 minutes seems like such a trivial amount of time to turn donors away.

I have donated at this location several times and everything went very well. I arrived last week and was turned down, as they said my body temp was .2 above acceptable. Which struck me as odd as my temp is usually 97.1. Rescheduled for yesterday, but they had me down for Platelets, not Plasma. The Plasma instruments were booked up. So I rescheduled for today. This is the third visit to donate plasma, but the instrument is down. They are supposed to have called me to reschedule.I know they are busy, but all they had to do is contact the call center to contact me.I do not believe I’ll be back to this location.I have contacted the main Red Cross office to register negative feedback.Update January 2021:As this location is the most convenient to me, I have given them more chances. Each time since my previous review has been So Much Better!!The wait time has improved and the entire process has been Excellent!!Now I give them 4 Stars!!

Inconsiderate given the objective

Had a very smooth donation experience on 7/5 with West as my phlebotomist! He ensures every detail of the donation experience is perfect and made the whole experience very comfortable.

I went in today to donate blood and ended up giving platelets. Everyone was kind, professional, and hospitable, and it was very clean. ELENA went above and beyond though...She made me feel SO comfortable, explained the whole process, and took great care of me. You can tell she really cares both about the donors who visit and the recipients who will receive donations. She is AMAZING at what she does.I will be back as soon as I can.

The R.N.s, Phlebotomists, Med Techs and support staff are personable, skilled, and have a personal commitment to the cause. I always look forward to a positive experience at this Red Cross location. Bloody well done, all!

My experience here was amazing! They take care of you completely! If youre cold, you get a blanket, if youre bored, you can watch TV. I give platelets which is quite a long process, and it was my first time giving them, I was entertained and had a lot of fun being there. I enjoy being able to help and the fact that it was right down the street is amazing. I love this place and the people there! Great people and great service!

I have been donating blood at this location since 2005. The staff is always nice and they offer evening hours so that giving blood fits into my schedule easily. The whole process seems to go smoothly each time, I have never really had to wait a long time. Great work!

I have been giving blood at this location for many years. The Red Cross employees are wonderful to work with, and they are so kind and thoughtful. Please give at this location if you are physically able to donate blood. You will be glad you did, and you will help save a life for someone- so they may continue to be a blessing to their loved ones.

I come to this location even when its far from where I live because the staff over here are MUCH better than the one near my house. Best place to donate around the town. Check them out you wont be disappointed! I have donated 6 times to RedCross so far and out of that 4 times was at this location!

Friendly staff that does a great job of getting you in and out of the donation center quickly and comfortably. I go every 8 weeks at lunch to donate blood and its been a good experience everytime.
