I have been taking my grandmother to this doctor for a few years now. My grandmother does not speak any English and someone always has to speak on her behalf. She has been going to Dr. Aamer specifically for hypertension. A few months ago her hypertension got worst and after taking her to see Dr. Aamer he increased the dosage of one of the medications she was already taking. The medication was prescribed for 90 days and instead of taking one a day of that specific medication, she was instructed to take two a day. The only problem was, that the prescription was never called in the pharmacy. Over the holidays, she ran out of her medications sooner than expected and the insurance would not cover the cost, because of the fact that she had ran out of the medication sooner than expected. I ended up calling Dr. Aamer over the holidays on his emergency number and after talking to his nurse, she said that she is going to page the doctor. After about 10 minutes I got a call from him. I was very polite and apologetic for having to cal him over the holidays and such late hour. He immediately began to raise his voice and yelled at me for disturbing him. He even went as far as saying, I dont care what happens to your grandma, if anything should happen go ahead and take her to the emergency room. He later sent me a letter saying that he would not longer be willing to accept my grandmother as one of her patients.I believe, one of the very first things a doctor should be, is to be caring. They should care about the condition of their patients and this doctor has shown that he is incapable of that very basic principal. Doctors, can call in a prescription in a matter of minutes. His actions are outrageous and he should not be carrying the title of a doctor. I would not recommend him to anyone. STAY AWAY.

Absolutely the worst nephrologist in Atlanta. He is grossly incompetent and should not be licensed to practice medicine. He hates his patients and he hates practicing medicine. He is not respected by other physicians and could be the rudest of any I have ever met! Please see anyone other than him!!!

I took an elderly friend to see Dr Aamer, and he was wonderful! He was very helpful and very understanding. He took time to explain everything to her and she was very happy with him!

I do not recommend using this doctor at all. His phone mannerism is terrible and he immediately begins yelling at you if you have any confusion at all in regards to his instructions. He says one thing and does not write it down in his notes. His office staff has been really sweet but they are not prepared since he does not write clear instructions. He does not call in prescriptions when needed. Find someone else
