Upgraded from LA Fitness. This gym is AMAZING. The steam room is my favorite. Two full sized basketball courts. The locker room is full with free amenities. TOWELS PROVIDED.. no need to bring locks because the lockers have codes we set up manually. I love the atmosphere !

Lifetime is an exceptional place to workout. This is one Irene better locations

Best gym out there, hands down. I was a member over 10 years, Im trying to go back to be a member but the cost is little too high and its not 24 hours like it used to. I still love the gym, I try other gyms like LA fitness, and plenty more. Lifetime is by far the best.

I really like this workout place. They got lots of cool equipment and the past few times Ive gone it actually wasnt too packed which is a huge plus. I will say its kinda expensive though so make sure if you are going to pay every month make sure to go a lot.

Amazing facilities and service. Very good and clean equipment. The classes offered are great. After joining lifetime, I actually started going to the gym more often because it is such a pleasant experience. I wish I used the other amenities like swimming and lifespa more. I always went to LA fitness, changing to Lifetime was a game changer since its a completely different tier.

Terrible customer service. I used to go to this gym every day but stopped due to the pandemic. I canceled my membership earlier this year with every intention of going back when it is safe for me and my family (we have a one-year-old baby now) and long story short, they ignored my cancellation and kept charging me. I called back and AGAIN was told that they would wipe the past due amount for the months AFTER my initial cancellation. They didnt do it, and now they are saying they will not cancel the balance without me providing a doctors note... saying that I am unable to go to the gym...seriously...during COVID. I have a child, hes 1, he is a high risk...watch the news... why do I have to teach them about this? They said their employees told me the wrong information, and that I would have never been allowed to cancel over the phone...only I was..twice. Now I am paying for Lifetimes apparent inability to keep their staff abreast of their internal policies. This is a LIFETIME problem, and they made it a me problem.

Love this community and facility.

This branch of Life Time Fitness is very clean and well maintained. I have been here for several times as a visitor and every time I get a five stars service.I’ve been approached by coaches in gym during my workout for assistance. They are very professional and welcoming.I used the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, changing room, and sauna, and all are clean and hygienic.

I wish they would clean better. Its a great club. I just see things on the machines and the floors that gross me out.

This gym is amazing. We have two kids: a two year old and a six month old and the staff in the kids area are always fantastic. We feel super confident that they’re in the best hands.The weight room has everything I need except a plate loaded shrugs machine (I do rack lifts or smith shrugs instead) and I wish they had more than one smith machine. Other than that, it’s got it all.

I loved being a member of this gym. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional a and went above and beyond their job description. The place was immaculate and locker room very clean. There were always fresh towels available. I love the variety of equipment. We cancelled our membership because of Covid but plan on going back as soon we feel that it is safe as we are both in our 70s.

It’s 4th of July 2021. There are at least 100 people at the pool. However, the poolside food and bar is closed along with the slides. Lifetime fitness must not like money nor care about their members experience at the club.We just joined this month and will be canceling our membership at the end of the month.

Serious fitness! A Few of the staff are really friendly, mostly who works in the evening. Rest I find either are rude or ignorants. They have everything you need in this gym to be fit. Yoga is fantastic and fun, great teachers and believe me it is intense. Clean everywhere, pools, spa and sauna. My daughter loves their swimming pool. Issues with the towels is that a few members just misuse of it throwing it anywhere other than designated place. Plenty of parking but may get full during the evenings.

You could live here. This gym contain all. Pool, basketball, cricket, a lot of training, cafeteria, hot tab.

The gym is fun

I will never in my life return here. I came as a guest to use the pool and they charge $10 EACH guest. $40 for myself and my 3 children. Each member is allowed a guest and we came in with 2 members. Nope still had to pay. Then we had to stand at the front desk for a good 20 minutes for the front desk girls to try and figure out how to get us checked in and paid. With 3 small children. Very irritated. Then the edge of the pool where the water washes up was slime & grimey. I WILL NEVER RETURN. Worst pool experience everrrrrrrrrr

Great gym and facilities, however it could use a bit more upkeep. Simmilar gyms in Johns Creek and Norcross are somewhat cleaner, better taken care of. Its not that much to do, however how long does it take to fix a hanger or have the area near the scale in.mens room clean

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.......HORRIBLE. If you join make sure you understand that it will take you several visits, online cancellation forms and automated emails to cancel your membership. I have been trying to cancel my membership for over a year. If I could give a negative rating I would.

A Platinum level property with Diamond level Ops, staff, SERVICE, features, amenities, and equipment. I had upgraded my membership from Platinum to Diamond so I could access the @Lifetime Athletic Club in Sandy Springs near our Buckhead office but I was extremely disappointed by the staff and the crammed equipment in a much smaller area. There was a huge difference felt right when I crossed the doors. For example, the staff at this Alpharetta NEVER misses to either greet me at check-in and/or “see ya soon” at departure even under the busiest times of the day. The Sandy Springs Diamond property staff had a very contagious attitude that simply threw all my pre-workout positivity totally off. They didn’t greet anyone nor even acknowledge you at all. So, I really give praise and kudos to Dwayne McCormick who acknowledged me with respect upon eye contact even with a head nod made me feel accepted, welcomed, and at home! Same goes for Armando and his staff! Kudos guys! I see your hard work everyday and makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE, this even goes for the ALPHA program trainers! They weren’t rude or cocky thinking they own the gym or have privileges beyond that of a member. I couldn’t say that about the staff and disrespectful trainers at Sandy Springs Lifetime.

I had lost my wallet that had everything in it, and it was a coach wallet. I called to see if they could look in the parking lot for it. They said they couldn’t see it. But it was directly in front of the door when I had got there to look for it myself. They are very inhumane.

Such a terrible experience. Used to be a customer before Covid and decided to put my account on hold. They told me that they would not start charging my card until I gave the ok or scanned in to the location. Checked my email and they sent an email 4 days “in advance” before they said that they’d start charging my card. Explained my situation and told them I would just like to cancel. Checked 3 days later and they started taking the money out of my account. Tried to speak to the manager and all he said was that they sent an email notifying me. 4 days is not enough a notice and I was told that my membership wouldn’t continue until it received my ok. I’m seriously so put off by this place now because their business practices are so unethical. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I go to the gym for a cycle class once a week and I can say that it is very pleasant. The cycle studio is clean and well social distanced, every other bike is open. They also clean all the bikes after a class. My time spent here is thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it to anyone who wants to come work out!!!

Great place for workout

My experience here with the yoga team is fabulous.

I have been going to Lifetime for about four years now and love being at the aquatic center. With all of the bad reviews I have read about this Lifetime I would like to state what I have noticed to be good. First would be Panah Roshanaei who is the deck manager. Over the past three years of being inside and out of the pool area he has always greeted everyone with a smile. One incident this past September he was explaining to a member the outside pool for children under twelve was closed. The member threw a fit and hurled a chair however, Panah remained calm and was very polite. I noticed one day he cleaned around every chair and removed the smallest of debris from the outside pool deck. It was immaculate when he finished. I never noticed over the past four years anyone performing this task to such a degree. Recently one of my clients said her children had Panah as their teacher at summer camp. She stated that he was very patient with them and a great teacher. I find the staff very helpful and consider this location to be my sanctuary.

Awesome place to workout

My experience with lifetime has always been great until I had the displeasure of speaking to Kaitlyn Sharpe. She was not willing to work with me at all when Lifetime Fitness auto-renewed my membership after I was under the impression it was still on hold for the $15 per month. We are in the mist of a pandemic and Im high risk being pregnant, why does lifetime think its okay to auto- renew a membership that is on hold is beyond me. Nice facility but your just a $ sign to the people that work here.

Great place!

Paying the same amount of monthly memberships as I payed when they were 24/7! Now they close at 11,Terrible change of policy. The prices of memberships has risen!? Why is that? What has changed? Nothing has changed. They call them selves an onyx club that’s no different when they were a platinum club, zero upgrades and any added new features.They just want more money, greed!

Fantastic establishment! I am extremely impressed. I have been a member of many gyms but, this one is the best. Our family loves the child care and swimming. There is so much value here and there is always an open machine. Awesome job!

I will call it Lifetime of Payments instead. The company makes it impossible to cancel membership. We have tried to cancel in early days of pandemic. Unfortunately, the person who could help with cancellation was never on premises, at least that is what we were told for 2 days in a row. We sent a lot of emails and no response. We have been charged even in July even though the cancellation was done by email in February.

It is disheartening to see several clients not wearing a mask. The entire point of masks is helpful only if everyone participates. Distanced on machines is one thing, but in classes, on the basketball court, in the dressing rooms, and walking around hallways, people should comply without hesitation. Perhaps individuals who choose not to comply should lose club privileges until they do.

Great Facilities and variety of activities for the young and old. The basketball court is nice & the pool is excellent in terms of dimensions and cleanliness. I delighted in watching my grandchildren enjoy swimming & splashing water freely. I also enjoyed the cafeteria with its immense variety of healthy snaks, which I resisted with great difficulty, but I enjoy a great cup of coffee. If I had one criticism it would be the bathrooms needing much better attention.

Always professional and sanitized, my son loves going to Life Time Fitness.

Top notch gym. Free weights go up to 130. Plenty of squat racks. Cardio machines for days. Very family friendly and accommodating. Lifecafe is great variety but I just wish it stayed opened longer.

The manager is not reasonable or professional at all. She was rude to me and my wife trying to charge us for a membership that was put on hold due to the pandemic. They don’t have compassion or respect for people during this hard times. Greedy just greedy!!

I came here at 4/12 and 4/13 door was locked I waited your site almost 20 min. I thought this gym 24 hours. I am really disappointed

Large parking lot with easy access to multiple roads.

I had put my son for 2019 Summer Camp here. They have a basketball court that they use, as is, to keep kids all day long. Kids sit on the floor, eat lunch while being seated at the floor. All this was still okay but the lady who manages summer camp is rude. I had to do like 4 follow up to get the receipt for summer camp. The receipt does not have a Tax ID so now am following up to get that. The service is very very poor!

This is a bad gym. You will hate it. Do not go here.

Front desk employee was openly not wearing a mask

I think I knew what to expect coming here but decided to give it a shot. This is a very big place that has a vast variety of equipment but also has a lot of wasted space and over-emphasizes its non-gym aspects.You have to walk through the entrance past a small shop and a Starbucks-sized cafe down to the far left side of the building and up a set of stairs (or a nearby elevator) to get to any actual exercise equipment.For me a diverse set of good equipment but also a quick to arrive, quick to depart gym strikes the right balance and this place doesnt quite accomplish that.

I loved this facility and how it was managed. They gear their target market towards people who really do want to make changes to their complete health, make you feel welcome, and most of all very non-judgmental. The one in Sandy Springs GA is more expensive and has a completely different culture. I found out they did not really want the type of member of the age of 40 and over and I was treated horribly. So, if you decide to join LT and want a great inviting experience and live near both, the one in Alpharetta GA is geared towards not only getting the members but retaining them through great customer service.

I have never enjoyed going to a gym as much as I enjoy coming here! I used to go to another gym that was cheaper but I never felt the inspiration to go on a regular basis. This gym has everything I va lue in a gym and more!! I pay 3x more for this gym but it is worth it. Every time I go, I feel happy that I have given myself this gift. I get bored quickly with gyms but this one has so many things you can do that getting bored will take a long time. I feel like the people who created this gym created it for me! There are many convenient details and features that make it easy for me to work out!

Emily and the member services team are awesome! They have been so understanding and helpful with putting my account on medical freeze after I had a baby. There was actually an issue with my account where I was still charged during this time and they quickly refunded my account with no hassle. Me and my new little one will be Life Time members for life (pun intended haha). Thank you Life Time!!! ❤️

Ive been a member here for about 2 years, and love it! My teen son LOVES shooting hoops... and I dont know of any other gym in the area with 2 full courts! Love this place, and the people are great! They make you feel like family!

Been going here for years and dont have many bad thing to say! I love the diverse group exercise/class offerings and theres endless things to incorporate into my workout with the diverse machinery and free-weights/balls/you name it. I always love seeing the same front-desk employees or manager, Christina, who recognizes me every time. They also just installed a brand-new lights display and sound system in the group fitness and yoga studios. Only complaint is that the Woodstock location has received many nice updates (new pool furniture, new machines, updated bathroom features etc.) that Alpharetta has not yet received, even though Alpharetta is hands-down a much more bustling location.

Charged me for longer than the agreed upon period that was determined up front. The company seems more interested in up-selling than providing a service to customers that they are paying for already. Is ridiculously overpriced if you are just interested in weight training.

I have loved going to Lifetime and taking my kids there for 8 years!!! The classes are great, the instructors are phenomenal (especially yoga) and the amenities are fabulous! Try finding an indoor and outdoor pool with numerous hot tubs at another gym in town... (You wont) I saw the comments about the irritation with the lifeguards and it is sad that teenagers are able to get under the skin of some adults. The childcare area is wonderful and my boys still love to go there at ages 9 and 10 AND they love the Summer Camps provided by Lifetime. The pricing is relative to this area and the amenities provided. You get what you pay for and I believe my money is well spent at Lifetime for my family membership! Thanks guys!!! 👍👍👍

Too pricey. Facilities are good or average. Management just wants you to sign up somehow - which is understandable. Some sales guys are very mean. Some front-desk guys are impolite. Some are extremely nice. Easily identifiable. I think it all boils down to if you are willing to really spend that much money for that service and facilities.

After written and verbal requests they have refused to cancel my membership. Its hard to recommend signing up if there is no way to cancel the membership.The facilities themselves, especially the Alpharetta location, are sub-par. While there is enough equipment even at busy times, mold grows in the showers with no attempts by LT to clean it, and there are frequently no towels.The advertise a resort-style experience, but the reality is far from it and your money is better spend at Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, or other similar competitors.

I have been a member since the gym opened. I mainly do the group fitness classes. The cost has really skyrocketed over the years. (Faster than inflation rate) We used to have a family membership, but my husband, son and daughter left to join more economical gyms Their memberships combined are still less than my one membership at LT. If my employer didn’t offer a $50/month reimbursement for a fitness membership, I would have to depart as well. Not worth the bang for the buck, as they say. They really should at least offer better rates for college students.

I joined LT about 2 months ago and to be honest, I have mixed feelings about it. It is definitely the most Ive ever paid for a gym membership, but Im also from a farm town that doesnt offer a resort for a gym. When I initially took the tour, it was 2 weeks before the renovations and we were promised new equipment on the entire fitness floor - to include new weight machines (wrong). By far the most under-delivered promise. They decided to shove all of the weight machines in a single corner and put in a larger functional fitness space that is clearly geared towards cross-fit style workouts. I get it, people like it. But not everyone, its in the worst spot, and its not what I was promised! A number of weight machines are absolutely terrible, old, broken every single week, or drag/catch and are such a nuisance to even try to maneuver. The LifeFitness weight machines that they have are nicer, and thus are always being used. My partner cancelled his membership within 30 days to go to a competitor with much newer & more weight machines. I have deeply considered it. I enjoy the atmosphere and impressive list of offerings, but all in all I am disappointed. It is far too expensive to under deliver.

Ive been a member since they opened their doors. I am quitting next week. The rapid decline in the quality of the employees, the service and the cleanliness no longer warrants a $150+ per month membership plus the cost of my childrens activities. When I found an employee sleeping in the changing room among the filthy towels thrown all over the floor I decided that it was time to move on. Also, anytime I tried to buy something from the cafe I got attitude and the we aint open no more response from the eloquent and well spoken employees. If you like to workout in filthy conditions, have mediocre service and broken machines, this is the place for you.

Ive been a member here since 2005 and I dont have any complaints. I know most of the staff by first name and they are awesome.

If youre searching for a fancy, upper-scale, large gym or fitness center with a wide range of offerings, this place has quite a bit going for it and is virtually impossible to beat in the Alpharetta area. Awesome pools, gyms, climbing walls, racket ball courts, the works! Their fitness classes are second to none. Huge number of classes offered with a wide range of workout options, including cycling.I wish they would update some of their workout equipment. I would also suggest they not charge members when they discontinue their memberships. I understand an agreement is signed with specific stipulations. However, irrespective of the agreement, people shouldnt be charged a cent for leaving. I truly dont understand why the club needs a 30 day notice. Anything less and youll be charged another month of membership. Guessing its to give them time to keep you around. Life Time, please professionalize and improve this part of your operations. Your salesperson who tried to keep me around was too slick and smooth talking. A real pro, but not in a good way.Other than that, I really loved this club. Its superb and I highly recommend it. I was one of the first people to join, before they even built it, when they were selling memberships in the adjacent building. Thanks!

Been a member for two years now. LOVE the childcare. It is more expensive than other gyms like LA Fitness but worth every penny because the kids actually want to go the gym.Update 2019 - been here 8 years now and wouldn’t trade it for any other gym. The childcare is the best and they even have FREE parent nights out on Sat night a few times a month.

Have been loyal members since 2007

They made everything much more difficult than it needed to be. We initially joined because the gym was nice, the kids area looked nice, and they had a parents night out we could pay for. But the classes we liked were inconsistently scheduled, and the parents night out program is a mess. We bought points to use for the parents night out, and it was a nightmare to use them for this. The points expire, and there were a couple of times that we got charged instead of deducting our points. The last month our points were good for, they charged us again. The person I talked to couldnt get our money reimbursed and points deducted. They made a note that we had a free night next time around, but the next time around, they didnt know what we were talking about. After a few phone calls, we finally got that straightened out. Then there was another time before that when we called to cancel our reservation and were charged anyway. It took calling and talking to a few people again to get that straightened out. All along they kept telling us that we didnt have to make a reservation, and given our experiences so far, we decided to just show up. That did work a couple of times until the last time that made us want to cancel our membership. We drove in (we live almost 45 mins away), and the kids area was dark. We hung around while they tried to figure out what happened. We were finally told that the employees who were supposed to work the kids area that night just didnt show up. (Not It was cancelled. Not They called in sick. They didnt show up, and we dont know why.) So we wasted more a couple of hours that evening driving down and back only to find their employees are irresponsible. Now Im trying to cancel our membership. My wife called and they said that she had to drive in to cancel in person. So we scheduled to drive in before the next month when we were charged. I decided to call first to see if we could sign and fax/email something, only to find out that they never mentioned to me or my wife their 30 day policy. They just quietly rushed us through signing their documents so they could take our money. In spite of being told that every gym has the same policy, weve never dealt with this at the 4 other gyms weve used in the past. If they had been honest enough to tell us that the first time when we asked to cancel our membership, we would have driven in to take care of it then. As it stands, were probably going to get charged tomorrow and again in a month.

The club is pretty good, however the jerk lifeguards at the pool ruin all the fun. they are bunch of kids that often mess with parents and try to tell them what is safe for their kids and what is not. can you imagine the arrogance and the attitude of a lifeguard teenager explaining what is safe and what is not for my kid, like i dont care and i dont know how to make my kid safe. UNBELIEVABLE. PLEASE FIRE lifeguard Nathan and his supervisor Ryan.

Love this place! I couldnt imagine going anywhere else to workout. It definitely spoils you. It has everything I need, and then some! Staff is helpful and friendly, and facility is clean. I also like not having to wait for machines no matter what time I go.

The gym is nice but dont depend on the towel service for clean towels.

Very dirty. Specifically the showers , steam room. Some bathroom stalls dont even close unless i lift the door up so that it can latch. Some elliptical machines upstairs are covered in rust (right side by the TVs overlooking the pool) . I am still a member as i havent had time to cancel and switch gyms but I really wish the management would get the mold out of the showers, the ceilings near the showers and the mold smell out of the steam room. I used to love this gym but now im just searching for a replacement.

I am a second time member to Lifetime, the first time was from 2008-2009. I do enjoy going to this club, I find it to be clean and the staff is customer service oriented. They do have swim teams there on some evenings during the week so that means members have less access to the pool. The classes are really good and the instructors are certified, so I do enjoy them. Overall, I am happy with this club.

Been a member for 4 months now, what else can I say I love this gym. Ive been to other gyms as nice but never have I been a member of one so nice. This place is truly a lifestyle. They have tons of machines for every part of the body. No matter what type of training your into they have the equipment to help you reach your goals. There is Rock Climbing, 2 Full court Basketball courts, Bike Spin room, indoor outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms and multiple hot tubs. Several studios are available for everything from Palates to Yoga, theres even a Mixed Martial Arts studio. Their locker rooms are nice they supply you with all the things you need towel service, shampoo, conditioner, shave cream, deodorant, shower gel, blow dryers, etc....... I would definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to go to a gym to begin with. Last but not least they are a bit pricey $140 /mo. for single and $219 /mo. for couples. But in this instance I believe your truly get what you pay for.

It’s a good place to work out but if you are planning to spend a quality day with the family this isn’t the place.Here are the few things we noticed:It’s dirty compared to other lifetimes I have been to in different locations. It will show once you go for a club tour. Also this only applies to people who actually keep their place very neat and clean so if you are messy then lifetime will feel super clean to you.Weights all over the floor. Towels, clothes, plastic bags all over the floor in the locker room.Showers have black mold growing and showers leak.Floor are always wet and nasty with hair and other gunk on the floor.There are some guys in the locker room who are like predators when you are changing or taking a shower they look at you and act like they are waiting for an empty shower or drying their hair. Multiple people have complained about this before in locker room. We stopped using the locker room.Other Night my wife and I came to gym late at night and it wasn’t busy. We used the family locker room and upon our return to the family locker room we saw two people in the bathroom and it clearly looked like they were having sex from the glass shadow. I told my wife that it looks like someone is having sex and sure was. The door opens up and guess what who comes out the FRONT DESK GIRL with another guy acting like nothing was happening. I’m sure she wasn’t cleaning the bathroom with him while bathroom being locked late at night.Also stay away from their trainers they are nothing but ripping money off of you. They are always looking for a new HUNT and just approach them out of nowhere telling them they can lose weight much faster if they sign up but won’t give any guarantees besides the time they are training you. Also some of these trainers take advantage of their women clients by touching them physically acting like they are playing around but it clearly shows that client is uncomfortable. It’s messed up.Don’t waste your time and money.

I love Lifetime! It is pricey, but well worth the money, if you take advantage of the amenities.I especially appreciate how helpful Josh, one of the sales representatives, is. He keeps me updated with whats going on and helps me get the most out of my gym experience AND (!!!) my money.
